I bought these at REI just shy of one year ago this month. Within the same week the toe cap on the left shoe became detached from the rest of the shoe on the top side. Then a couple days later the rear anchor point on the right shoe came out of the footbed. This was my second pair of this model of Keen shoes and the first pair last 8+ years. I don't know what's going on with Keen quality but sure would be nice if they addressed it because this latest pair was a total let down.

My closet is full of keens, a pair for nearly ever occasion. Various hiking conditions, kayaking, around the house, gardening (some great colors, some not so great but functional) good or bad? I cant seem to wear them out. Guess KEEN will have to design casual going out at night shoes (please!)

I have purchased many different Keen shoes over the years and have been more than happy with the overall durability and quality of their products. Unfortunately the Newport H2's are an exception. The soles on both pairs I own quickly become hard as a rock, losing their ability to grip on smooth surfaces (i.e, rocks!) making them downright dangerous. Especially so in wet conditions. When I contacted Keen customer service to inquire about a possible remedy for this condition I was told to just replace them with some new ones. Yeah right!! I've had only had them three years. That's a pretty short lifespan for two pairs of $105 shoes.

The Sandler looks nice but wearing it is very uncomfortable. The design makes it difficult to put it on and slip my foot inside plus if you wear socks, it fits too tight. I cant suggest buying it.

The Sandal is so comfortable it feels like Im on a cloud. I will be getting another pair soon

Very comfortable! Breathes well, feels natural, and my girlfriend loves them!

I really love it; however, a wide size would improve them a lot. I got my first pair 18 years ago, used to be more "comfortable" and easy to put on.

I think that this is my eighth pair of H2's so I'm fanboy / biased but I do like them quite a bit. These new ones size a little smaller than previously so watch out for that. They wear well and the only flaw is my own fault when I step on the strap instead of pulling it over my heel and it wears out over time. I cut the strap off eventually when it's worn out but that's no good either because they come off too easily. They are pretty close to perfect for me as daily summer footwear.

Probably my 6th, or 7 pair of Newport H2 and I dont see that ending, anytime soon. Great sandals and their bulletproof.

The sandals did not feel comfortable.

Bought these in sept 22, now in late Jan 23, stitching pulling out on both shoes.

This pair of sandals was amazing very good build quality and made of comfortable materials. I unfortunately had to send them back as the were just to narrow for my feet personally.

I founds these some 10+ years ago and since then I have worn these as my standard shoe all year round. From trips walking in summer, to just day to day use - these do the job. Comfortable and hard wearing.

Have worn and worn out several models of these sandals over the years. Durable, rugged, and comfortable for hiking, for use in water, and can be worn year-round. My last pair had the stitching fail and Keen replaced it with no hassle. They stand behind their products.

I wish I could physically get these shoes on! I have no problem with any Keen sandals where the opening stretches/opens enough, but not so with the Newport H2 style with the full neoprene. It just doesn't stretch enough for my tall instep, so this is an issue with any pull on shoes/boots. Easy return, thanks for that!! I was wanting a sandal that didn't take days to dry when wet, which can be an issue with many of the Keen sandals. Unfortunately there were no other H2 style sandals available in early December for my Hawaii trip. I just used an old pair of Owyhee sandals, which held up fine on the beach & volcanic rocks! I've been wear Keen sandals and shoes/boots almost daily for 10+ years now.

The river sandals are great, except a little slippery in certain wet conditions!

I love these shoes, and this is my second pair. I do not, however, love how tall the ridge is under my toes. It doesn't line up perfectly with where my toes go, so some toes end up resting right on the ridge. It seems to me a better design would be to have an entirely flat (foot contoured) foot bed and no ridge at all since different people have toes in different places and it serves no real purpose besides getting in the way.

I love these sandals, only disappointment is that i thought they were going to be all black.

I have been wearing Keen's for years. I am a solid size 13 and have been for a long time. I read the reviews and ordered up a size and ordered size 14. They fit perfect. They fit just like all of my other size 13 Keen's. Not sure why they are off by a full size. Also, some said they are hard to get on. I found that if I shove all of my foot into the sandal like slip ons and then just pull the pack part up over my heel, they go on fine. I have really high arches, so no pain there. Can't speak for those with low arches. They are new, so I will follow up if they fall apart fast.

What can I say , this is a tried and true good qaulity sandal.
