These are the best - After having bought the synthetic in EACH color, I decided to try the leather. I love them. Everywhere I wear these (which is everwhere), people ask me what they are and where I got them. Of course I recommend them highly, and I won't buy any shoe (or pair of socks) from anybody but Zappo. Thanks for the free shipping and speedy service too.

My new favorite - This is an excellent piece of footwear.. The more I wear them, The more I realize that style, comfort and function can be intergraded. The weather here in Phoenix can be extreme, so it's nice to have a pair of sandals where I don't have to worry about my toes. I will purchase another pair very soon.

Odd looking but unbelievably comfortable - Purchased these sandals to wear on a month long trip to Costa Rica. Took some other shoes with me just in case these were not what I anticipated. No need to have even considered that. Right out of the box they were very, very comfortable and cause no blisters or abrasions even though we spent considerable time hiking in the rain forest, exploring the beaches on the Pacific coast and doing the volcano thing. I've had these sandals for over a year now. They have held up very well and just seem to get more comfortable with time. By the way, they also serve their intended purpose as a 'boat shoe; very well. I buy a lot of 'stuff' over the Internet and would have to rate Zappos service right at the top. Timely acknowledgment of order, prompt shipping and I believe they have upgraded the shipping on every order I've placed with them.

Fantastic sandals - I have had this sandal for some time and wear it on extensive hiking/travel. It's one of the most comfortable pieces of footware I own (including Mephisto). Waterproof, closed-toe for safety, infinitely adjustable, firm grip. Can be comfortably worn with socks if desired. No negatives!

Newport cool - Great compliment to my other 2 Keen shoes (Trinidad & Providence). I like to wear this shoe the most during the day (dark socks only!)

Fantastic! I loved the first pair I bought so much, within a matter of days, I purchased another. (A different color, of course) They ROCK. If you like sandals/tennis shoes with GREAT arch support, KEEN Newports will definitely be the cherry on the cake of your day. Keep on truckin'. Remember, it ain't over 'til the fat lady sings.

Keen Newport - I ordered the first pair too large, and Zappos was excellent to work with. They sent a half size smaller and I sent the others back. Easy with the shipping label provided. I am even more excited about the shoes now that I have had them for more than a few weeks. No "break-in" time with these shoes. Excellent arch support. My wife tried them on and felt they were as supportive as her Berkinstocks and is looking forward to purchasing a pair eventually from Zappos. Zappos gets a 10. I have told my friends and coworkers about how fast the service and delivery as well as return was. They were amazed. Zappos and Keen a "two thumbs up". I have yet to see any company have this kind of service!!!!

Most Comfortable Sandal! I bought this pair of Keen's for my husband, after I previously purchased a pair for myself. This is the perfect shoe for hiking and water sports alike! We love that they dry so quickly and the fit is amazingly comforable. My sandals are now over a year old, worn often, and still look as good as new!

Wide feet happy man - Very happy with these weird looking sandals. They can get a bit hot but they are very comfy...

Keen Newport - This is a follow up review. I've had the sandals for over a month and I just got back from a 2 week trip to Brazil. I used these shoes everyday. They went on dive boats, para-gliding, trips into the Amazon jungle, and to plenty of beaches. I can't say enough about them. They are my favorite shoes that I own. They breath well and are very very comfortable. They're worth the money!!! Just buy a pair!

A must have - I just got back from Hawaii. I wore these shoes the entire time at the beach, on tours, on hikes, on walks. When sand got into them, I simply took a shower while wearing them, and left them to dry. Even when wet, they are still comfortable. Oh yes, they don't smell.

keen newport - I couldn't be more pleased with the, Keen newport, sandal I ordered from Zappos. Wonderful boat shoe, no marks on the teak decks, and good traction in wet conditions. Feet stay comfortable on hot summer days. Dry quickly too. The best boat shoe i"ve tried. Even though I ordered them with standard shipping, they arrived next day at no extra cost. Highest marks to both the shoes and the retailer. I plan on another purchase for the christmas holidays for some family members.

Super comfort - This is the second pair of Keen Newport sandals I have purchased. They are extremely comfortable. I wore them while traveling in Kuwait and Jordan, while hiking in Petra, and on the dive boats. I got tired of my husbands flipflops constantly sliding off his feet while he was hauling gear to the dive boat so I purchased a pair for him. I liked these so much I also purchases a pair of Boston chukka's. If you like Birkenstocks, you'll like these even more.

A great bike shoe - Although it's a great overall shoe, I especially like it for bike riding. It affords good air flow and provides toe protection at the same time.

My favorite pair of shoes, period. I bought a pair of newports for a recent trip to the US Virgin Islands. I needed a shoe that was cool,but comfortable, and looked good enough to get me into restaurants. With all the good reviews about the Keen Newport in particular and all the Keens in general I figured at minimum that once it broke in the shoe would work out. Well, color me amazed. No break in needed. Right out of the box I could wear the shoe all the time, with perfect comfort. I beat it up, put it in sand/saltwater etc and it still looks brand new. Keen has made me a believer. Worth every single shiny penny.

great sport sandal - comfortable, durable, great all around sandal

Great Shoes! Keen Newport is the best shoe I've ever owned. They are my boating, walking, hiking, and casual dress shoes. Too comfortable to take off.

My favorite summer shoe - I have several pairs of Newports and do find them incredibly comfortable as well as convienient. I wear my Newports almost every day, even to work. This is the best open shoe that Keen makes, too bad they did away with the slide on version of this shoe.

Great versatile sandle - Keen's Newport are very comfortable, stylish and functional. They look good with Jeans, swim trunks or shorts. They are as comfortable as your old pair of tennis shoes and with the toe protection you can use them for various sports or working around the house. A word of warning!! - These run about 1/2 size small. I wear a size 10 usually wide, but found the 10 1/2 fit well, the 10 was too tight.

Keen Chestnut Newport Sandle. These sandals are great. They're comfortable and they breath. I've had 8 pairs of Teva's a couple pair of Birkenstocks over the last 10 years and these are as or more comfortable then any of the rest. The toe cap is good for using toe clips while mountain biking. I've done it in the past many times in my Teva's, but these work much better. I'm going to the Amazon River next week. I'll follow-up when I get back and get some more use out of them.
