I'm a little undecided about these shoes. I would say that they run a little small. I normally wear 6.5 or 7 in most shoes and ordered a 37 in these. They seem just half a size small. Being that they don't come in half sizes, I don't know if I'll just return them or order a 38 to see how those fit. I'm also not sure about the velcro fastener. I think a buckle would be cuter. I was also expecting them to be a little wider, similar to Birkenstock, but these are a little narrower.

Based on my other three Naot shoes, I figured this one, with its glowing reviews, would be great. But my toes nearly hung off the front and my fairly narrow size 11 foot felt a little squished, so they're going back, unfortunately. A 43 will be too wide. The style is simple and elegant, but it doesn't fit like the others. Disappointing.

After reading glowing reviews and as the owner of three pair of Naots, I was ready to pop the Kayla on and go. However, it was too small! The 42 had my toes nearly hanging off the front edge, and even my fairly narrow foot was a tad squished on the footbed. It's got the wonderful Naot arch and soft leather, but the sizing is off. I probably won't reorder, as the 43 is likely going to be too wide and the toe straps are not adjustable.

I recently bought a pair of black leather Kayla's and really like them. I thought it would be nice to have another pair that was a bit more dressy - thus I ordered the black reptile patent style. I was quite surprised how thin the patent was. It looks like it is just glued onto a piece of rubber and the edges may easily fray. I may be too critical since I've never had a pair of patent sandals before, but for now I'll just stay with the leather ones.

I like this sandal very much, and I have problem feet. The cork sole works as well as the orthotic I use in boots and running shoes. I was able to walk a lot in it until: My disappointment comes with regard to the velcro fastener -- and I have had this problem before with a Wolky sandal so I have been avoiding velcro now it is dominating the market. The velcro just does not last so I have to keep bending down and re-attaching the strap, which also stretches so that the sandal is now not as easy to wear. Would the leather be less stretchy? And how about making a sandal with a buckle strap for those of us who like to wear our shoes for a while? I note that your other shoes also have velcro fasteners -- what am i to do, I really like your shoes. The other thing I would like to see is a lace up boot. It seems that all the brands copy each other when it comes to style so that some styles disappear -- some of us don't like curved up toes, still think rounded toes are more visually pleasing like some old cars.

I have very flat feet and I developed plantar fasciitiis. Looking for shoes for these conditions, I was excited to find these sandals. However, they have too much arch support that is painful for me, otherwise the footbed feels great, and the leather straps are very confortable and soft. Runs very small, I normally wear a 10 and the 41 was still small.

Fit Variance - I ordered four of these in different colors. Each shoe felt like the band width was different. They are not reliable. Although the one pair that does fit feel great.

Don't hold up - Very comfortable but after a few months the ankle strap was so stretched out that it drooped and looked sloppy.

Beautiful, but too small - I love this shoe, but the footbed is too short. I ordered a size 11 (42), but my toes peeked out over the front edge. I can often wear size 10 sandals if they are styled a little roomy (such as Bass) and this size 11 was just too short. I love the styling and really wish I could wear them! I think the sandal is styled a little narrow, but my foot is narrow so that is not a problem for me.

A little short - Although these are the exact shoes I purchased in a store, the pair I order online is a little bit shorter, so my toes push at the ends.

These shoes should marked as seconds. On one shoe, the straps fit correctly. On the other shoe the copper colored straps across the top were significantly longer and they stood up and away from the top of my foot. There was an actual visible space between the straps and my foot. I own many pairs of Naot sandals, and I haven't had this problem with any of them. This is a quality control issue at the manufacturing end.

Poor manufacturing quality control. I ordered sandal 3 times; 1st order was I size too small, 2nd order - shoe insole on left sandal sloped down toward the outside & was unbalanced to walk on (I only discovered this when I walked on shoe for some length of time.) 3rd order - shoe insole on right sandal sloped upward on left side, again creating unbalanced walk. I was very disappointed, as I had this same style sandal previously and wore it comfortably for years!

I ordered the wide and my toes were hanging off the edge. Aside from the strange fit, the shoes came dumped in a box - looked used. The sides of the shoe were coming apart- literally unglued. The smell of the shoes was awful - from the glue? Returned them. Especially given the price, the quality was so poor.

this is the second time i have ordered these shoes and the second time it is damaged - what's going on???

I have worn Naot Kayla sandals for years. This version was cut smaller, the front strap was tight, and the leather was very stiff. Quite disappointing.

Too tight across the toe strap and no way to adjust!

The “Medium” size is very very narrow. I have never worn a “wide” shoe in any brand and could barely get these on.

These shoes are extremely narrow. They arrived without a box, so I'm guessing someone else had issues too. The style is cute but I couldn't even slip my foot into them because of being so narrow. They were size 38 and I wear a 7 1/2 to 8 depending on how the shoe is made.

Loved the look, but they were so small (at least an inch shorter than other sandals I own in the same size) and narrow, I couldn't wear them.
