I agree with the other reviewer who said the Naot Kayla's are inconsistent in sizing. At her recommendation, I've ordered different sizes and colors. In general, it seems the Naot footbeds run short and slightly narrow and the straps are disproportionately sized. The straps in the pair in Oily Dune were really long, such that only half the velcro closure could be used; the rest was hanging unused. If the sandals stretched, which many reviewers have said they do, I wouldn't have been able to fasten them. The Stone Nubuck, which is a nice, neutral color, had a similar problem. Additionally, they came with an oily stain. Since they weren't in the original manufacturers box, I assume the stain is from whoever returned them before me. The Buffalo Leather pair fit the best, and the straps are correctly sized, but the sandals are quite dark. With the wider straps, the shoe doesn't look very feminine. If you can find the right size/color combination, and like a sandal with wide straps, this could be a comfortable shoe for very casual wear. Unfortunately for me, they all have to go back.

I have narrow feet 6-6.5. The front 2 straps were already much looser on this shoe than on the same brand / same style that I’ve owned and worn every summer for 15 years. Wanted to own this color, to go with sundresses, but couldn’t make it work.

The shoe seemed small. I wear an 8M, sometimes 8.5M, and my toes were practically off the end of the shoe. The oily dune color looks like a nice tan in the photo, but it's really yellow-ish. The leather finish is very natural and will easily scuff and scratch. Another reviewer said the sizing is inconsistent from shoe to shoe, so I will reorder in both 39 and 40 in the buffalo.

Back strap was too loose. My medium width foot kept sliding forward, so my foot hung off the front. Have another model of Naot that fits perfectly. Also, a little too flat and open for the office. I am returning.

I returned these as I didn't trust that the front strap wouldn't stretch out and allow my toes to slide too far forward, and with no way to adjust the front for that...I was also not thrilled with the color I had, Crinkly Steel Leather, which looked more generically gray than metal. I guess I expected a more metallic look and it wasn't. I liked the shoes, but at the price, not enough to keep and have them last a long time. I'm going with a style that has a toe adjustment.

True to other customer reviews, this shoe's sizing is just 'off.' It runs 1/2 size small. It is a cute shoe, and is nice quality, aside from the sizing issue.

I was disappointed in the fit. I usually wear a size 11 or a 42. I felt tike these shoes were a size and a half too small.

These feel pretty good on. I have a foot that is on the wide side of average and these feel a bit narrow. I could live with that. However, I was not crazy about the black color on the base of the shoe with the light brown color. I really wanted something in more of a cork color. The velcro is really strong which I liked. Sadly, these are going back as I needed to be 100% in love with them to justify the high price.

I've bought this style in a different color before and loved it. The black matte was both shorter and much narrower. I'm pretty disappointed. Going up a size will not solve the narrower situation. Enjoy if you have slim feet!

Not really "true to size" anymore. :( I have owned this shoe for years because I have terrible feet that have endured surgeries and still have issues. This shoe has been my go-to for exploring cobblestone streets in Europe or tracking local mileage around town. I thought I would just go online and re-order my same-old black Naots but they were oddly loose. I have narrow heels to start and always have to velcro them tight but the leather over the front of my foot was also just too big. I was extremely disappointed. I don't know if it was a fluke pair or a new production flaw but I am leaving soon to travel and cannot take the chance. I returned them.

Super cute. But a tad small running and found straps over foot to be too tight.

wish there was more elastic built into construction....I find that insures both a more comfortable feel and fit

I own these sandals in blue and they are perfect. I ordered the pink and had to send them back. The suede straps across the top of the foot were too big. They did not even touch my foot. I was able to put a fingers width between my foot and the pink straps. I certainly could not wear them having the front part of my foot not being secure. Must’ve been a manufacturing problem for that particular color.

I loved the look of these sandals, but they were a bit too short. If they were a bit longer (a half size), they would have been really comfortable. I'm so sorry to have to return them.

I just received this sandal and was so disappointed with the fit. I ordered a 10 wide, but it's the same fit as a medium and my toes hung over the edge. The sandal felt very comfortable but the straps on one foot had a very noticeable gap between my foot and the strap. Unfortunately, I will be returning them.

I have two pair of Kayla from years past and was looking forward to buying a new color. The leather on this pair was so much more stiff. Even just trying them on and walking around my bedroom I could feel the piece over my toes beginning to cut. Sadly, had to return. This was true in another color as well. I guess they have change leather suppliers.

Have loved Naot’s for years but not the new narrower design. These are made way out of proportion including the two front straps which are not adjustable. There is too much space between them and the top of my feet. I was able to cut/shape a white tongue pad and adhere it to the underside of these 4 straps but who knows how long they will last and look over time. Also the forefront of the sole is pretty thin compared to older made Naot’s. Not worth $150.

I ordered this style of Naot's in Pink Plum Nubuck, and the color is most certainly gorgeous! I first ordered them in a 38, my regular size in Naot's. I was shocked about how very poorly they fit. The toe straps were huge, and the foot bed was way too long. I returned the size 38 and reordered the sandals in a 37. The toe straps were still too large, but the foot bed was predictably too short. Sadly, the style Kayla is not for me. Kayla is the only style of Naot's with which I could not find a proper fit.

These are beautiful sandals but don't be fooled by the Narrow to Medium designation. They're narrow and short and cut my feet. I got the royal blue and the patent leather and had to send them both back. Pity because I loved the styling.

These run small compared to other Naot sandals I have. I am 7.5 to 8, and 39 in Naots, but I had to go up to 40 for the Kayla. Once I found the right size, they were so comfortable that I bought them in three colors - oily dune, black matte and stone nubuck.

Love the look of these sandals! However the fit is quite a bit smaller than I anticipated. I am an 8.5/9 and ordered up to a 40 and they are still snug. And the matte leather is very stiff. Returning to find a better fit and softer material for the upper.

I am usually a US 7.5, and I ordered the 39 (US 8). Length-wise it was perfect, but it definitely felt narrow. My feet are regular width in most other shoes, but the middle of my foot would rub against the edge of the footbed and strap when walking. Sad that I had return it due to the narrow fit—the footbed was so incredibly comfortable.

I ordered 4 different styles of comfort shoes. These were the only ones that I thought looked very cheap- like as in vinyl. They were very narrow as well. Have to send them back.

I love the Kayla and wanted to try a new color. This looks like a subtle camel color in the photo but is actually mustardy (like the stars in this review) in person. I returned.
