I am pleased with this sandal. It has the comfort and support I was expecting from a Naot product, however it fits small. I have a similar foot bed in another style, so knew what size (42) in terms of length, to order. However, the straps are very snug across my foot and my toes are right at the edge. It will not work for you if your foot is medium or wide. I have very narrow feet, and if I were to order another in this style, I would try the next size up.

I bought the new Biscuit color and it's wonderful, except for the 1/2 inch of shoe that isn't "aged" to the biscuit color. Looks a bit odd -- and is quite different from the website photo (unfortunately!), but I'll keep them since they fit me perfectly. I have other Naots in the Elegant line and they all fit as if made for me. They need to continue the "aging" process all the way down the leather straps to the ends -- not stop 1/2" up. Come on Naot, I know you can do better than that, at this price. Note: I wear 9.5 narrow to medium shoes and must buy size 41 in all Naot sandals to get the length I need. They seem to run 1/2 size smaller than expected.

Naot shoes - Over all I thought this shoe was very good... extrememly comfortable...not as stylish as some others but fit very well...true to size.

Super comfortable (as all Naot shoes are). Felt like I could easily walk all day on European cobblestones. The look was just a little too “old” for me.

I just don’t love the SUPER plain straps. The front foot straps are quite loose on me (i have a low volume foot) but the foot bed holds my foot despite that. I am nervous because the straps are rubbing against the inside of my arch. I may try a pair with a different top and see how they are.

Extremely narrow footbed. My toes were hanging off the sides and I don't have wide feet.

Just wish they didn’t run short, otherwise would have been very comfortable and versatile.

This new pair of Naot sandals in size 6 felt much larger than the four pair of size 6 Naot sandals that I own and have worn for years. The quality of the leather also feels inferior to Naot sandals purchased in the past. I had to return these sandals because the six 6 (my regular size) was too large to wear.

The fit was too short. Toes at the end of shoe.

I always wear a 40 in Naot, but this one didn't work. The upwards lip on the edge of the sole had my toes falling off. The leather is beautiful, but all the edges are very rough and scratchy, so not good for sensitive feet.

Given these were described as running narrow I was surprised they felt so darn wide to me. Because of this the straps were loose and the shoes didn't feel supportive for me, though the length was okay. I'm 7-7.5 US size and do tend to run narrow. 39 Kayla was too long but the 38 was a good length. Given the loose straps the shoes flapped a bit. Very sad!

Length seems a little short,and I’m undecided if I’m going to exchange for next size up because I don’t want them too long. I have left foot issues from a stroke and it’s VERY difficult to find shoes that I like that aren’t too old lady looking. These are comfortable and ones that I can walk in safely, I hate being on the fence at the price.

Normally, European size 39 fits me fine; the Kayla 39 was too small - my heel overhung back of sandal and toes overlapped toe of sandal.

I wear size 9, so ordered size 40. I also have bunions so finding a sandal that doesn't rub is a challenge. The design of the front straps is PERFECT as there is room between the 2 straps to accommodate the bunions. I also have very slim ankles so the velcro strap works great for a secure fit. But the length of the sandal just misses a true US size 9, by less than 1/2" and because the front of the sandal has a ridge around the edge (a la Birks), I found that my toes peeked out over the edge which surely would be painful after a long day of walking in them. The size 41 would be too large, unfortunately. I also agree with another reviewer on the sea green color; it's a "muddy" gray- green so not as pretty in person as I thought it would be. I personally have found the European sizes to be just enough "off" US sizes a fraction (I own a pair of Taos, too) , but enough of one to just miss a perfect fit. As always, though, I'm very happy with Zappos' service and their website far exceeds others with multiple views of the shoes., video and all colors on the same page.

I ordered Oily Dune Nubuck and its not the brownish color shown in photo its more like Mustardish brown. Very comfortable and made from Clean material BUT they are... Not good looking ! (can I use the "U" word? ) i ordered them in white color as well and they looked even worse ! On brown skin Whitest white sandals dont look good, i was like Calm down White ! :)) Especially if the stripes are sooo wide like these, then the white shouldnt be too white. Both RETURNED. Only if they had made these in thin stripes! :( WHY Naot make ANTI- Good Looking shoes ??! :(

I have several pairs of Naot and in various styles (closed toe, slide), I am a true 40. In this pair, my toes were hanging off the front edge of shoe. Didn't like the color enough to re-order

I don't really know how to answer the questions about fit (size, width, support) for this shoe. I ordered 36, which is normally what I wear and what Zappos recommends for me. The shoe fit OK from heel to toe, but the straps that go over the front part of the foot were way too loose (they are not adjustable). There was a gap of about a third of an inch between the top of my foot and the straps; you could see that that they curved up too high above my foot. It isn't that my foot is too narrow because the foot bed was OK, or if anything a little narrow. The only thing that I can think of is that the shoe is designed for someone with a much fatter or chubbier foot in terms of height. I don't know if any of this makes sense, but there is no way that I could wear this shoe. Too bad because I like the style.

Ordered the size 11 women's, which would normally be a half size big and perfect, but was too short. Then ordered the size 12 women's thinking that would be perfect and it was the EXACT same length they just widened the straps so it was loose all over and still too short. Not happy with the sizing for such an expensive sandal. Won't be ordering them again

I wear US 10. With a 41, my toes are hanging over the edge. I like the shoe and wish I could order the next size up. But the strap is so long. To get it secured, there's too much hangover.

Unfortunately I ordered a size 36 and received a size 37. There was also a small spot on the front strap (R) that was quite noticeable with the pink suede. Not enough time to reorder before I travel.

This is the size I always wear in Naot and it felt too short and too narrow. I also was not thrilled with the color. The brown is a little too dark.

The sandals were dirty and had obviously been worn. I did not want used shoes.

I opened a shabby box to find two, left-footed sandals in different colors.

I own several Kayla-wanted to get new black ones. So I could compare with the older ones. They are not of the quality of Kaylas I bought even 3-4 years ago. the leather straps are thin and flimsy. And they two front straps do not lay against the foot but are unequal in size .The insole is harder on the foot. Very disappointed as these have been my go to sandal for years. Back they went.

I've worn Naot sandels for years, so I was pretty excited for my package to arrive which included 4 options from the 2020 season. The quality was disappointingly low. You can no longer change out the foot bed as you could in the past, the leather quality was thin and poorly dyed, and the stitching and leather alignment to the shoe bed was clumsy craftsmanship at best. I've loved the Naot brand and they have been my go to for years. I'm not sure if they changed ownership or factories, but I would not buy them again.
