I have always loved this style and wanted to add a couple of colors this season. The length and width are true to size and the arch support is excellent. It seems Naot is putting some extra length in one or more of the straps that go over the top of your foot. This ruins the fit and leaves your feet flopping in the breeze. It seems to vary from shoe to shoe so maybe it’s a quality control issue. My feet are totally average 8’s. I still love this style but I think I must (reluctantly) go to the mall so I can try them on before buying. Zappos has been so understanding about the returns but I don’t want to abuse that privilege. I’m very happy that I was able to piece together one pair that were cut correctly in the brick red color - they’ll be my favorites for this summer.

Very comfy shoe with moderate style. Good for walking or even playing golf. Am ordering the next size up to see if it fits better. I wear a 9 in sandals but the right foot feels a tad short because they are narrower than most of my sandals.

I have a bit of a wide foot and these shoes were very narrow. Although the shoe did not fit me it does seem to be very comfortable.

I was really hoping these would fit, because they are cute and come in a size 13, which is hard to find. Unfortunately they were really tight over the top of my foot and they didn't come in a wide. Disappointed that I had to return them.

Felt comfortable but ran narrow across front of foot. I ordered them in wide and they fit fine. I don't typically have to wear a wide.

Fit is fairly good. I’m a 9 1/2 narrow usually, so I ordered a 9 and a 10. The 9 (40) was the right width and a little bit short, which works ok since they’re sandals. The straps over the front of the foot were almost freakishly large, one more than the other. The 9s are working out well, this style of footbed is very comfortable.

I am a medium width and these feel too narrow.

Have not worn these yet but they were very comfortable when I tried them on. I did go up a size because a previous pair of Noat's were a bit short for my feet. The color is a bit bland, would have preferred a more tan color.

The Kayla sandal is a great style, loved the Buffalo leather, however despite being marked a medium width it was so narrow that my foot hung over the outer edge of the sole, and the straps were too tight. I've ordered, and returned, several pairs of Naot sandals recently and this is the first pair that weren't too long, so I returned them and ordered a pair in the wide width.

Narrow footbed but very loose, nonadjustable strap on toe and on heel. Weird fit. Believe it when they say it's narrow to medium. I'm a definite medium and the medium was uncomfortable. It also seemed perhaps a bit short in the footbed. Hard to really tell, given how loose the heel strap was.

I really like these shoes, but sent back due to not having half sizes and they're pretty pricey. The wide is nice, could even stand to be a little wider. Wish they made their other shoes in size W too.

These sandals are so cute. Great quality. The only problem was they ran short so I’m Having to return them.

I am usually a 9.5 and tried both the 9 and the 10. The 10 fit well. These run a little narrow which was perfect for me.

These shoes run smaller than other size 37 Naots I have worn, so I'm so sorry to be returning them. I love the "Crinkle Steel Leather" color. It is so attractive and something different that my usual black. Like my other Naots, they seem to have very good arch support which is not easy to find in such a dressy looking sandal. I usually wear a size 40. I returned them for a 41. Perfect fit! Great support for my feet. Very pleased.

This is my first time with the Naot brand, and I can say, wow, these sandals have amazing arch support AND look nice on your feet. Instantly comfortable, yet not dowdy which happens with "comfort shoes". I walk 5 miles a day, hence the need for a great sole, fit and foot comfort. Follow what everyone else has said--these shoes run short and narrow. I had to return and reorder 3 times to get it right. I'm normally a 10-10.5 M, and in European sizes, a 41 or 42. I needed to size up to 43 which states "size 12" which is much more a short size 11. Even without a wide foot, I needed the wide--very narrow, and the cork sole only feels comfortable for medium feet in the wide.

Sandals were too wide. Otherwise, style was basic, but nice. Lots of supprort.

I normally take a 12.5-13 and these fit well, toes to edge but not too small. Incredibly comfortable! Stylish. I haven’t worn a lot yet but leather usually softens with wear and I think these will be even more comfy come summer. Very happy with purchase!

Very cute, but Just ran too short, as others mentioned. Ordered the 39. I have one size 8M foot & the other is 8.5M, these were too short on both feet. My Naot "Paris" style fits perfectly in size 39. These are kind of on the narrow side , but that would have been ok if they were long enough. I think a size 40 would be too big.

This shoe fit in length and width just like most Naots in the Elegant line. It runs narrow and short. I normally wear a 7.5/38, but I always need a 39 in the Naot Elegant line. The leather is soft, the footbed amazing, and the construction excellent. The problem I had with this shoe, and the reason for my return, is that the strap that goes behind the ankle was WAY too long/loose. So much so, that it flopped when I walked, and there was no way to make it tighter. The Elegant line is made for a more narrow foot, so I don't understand why the back strap was made to fit a heel twice the size of mine. I almost reordered in case it was an isolated workmanship issue, but I decided to go with the Peyton instead. As a side note, I had to order three Peytons before I got a pair that did not have straps on one shoe wider than the other. Sadly, the pair in which both shoes fit the same had some type of stain on the leather. I'll probably keep them regardless, but at this price point, one would think the quality control would be better. I've never have these kinds of issues with Naot before, but in general, this seems to be the way many brands are now - the quality has diminished a bit. I'd encourage you to give this shoe a try. With Zappos' fabulous customer service, you have nothing to lose. Naots are excellent shoes if you find the right fit! I do cut them a little slack since they are handmade, and as such, there will be inconsistencies.

Love the looks of the shoe and its comfort for walking. The only reason I returned my pair was because the “metallic” color looked pewter in the photo but was actually more of a subtle bronze. I needed a silver or pewter color.

This was a comfortable sandal but the straps across the foot are not adjustable so they were too loose on me. I wish Naot would have more sandal options with adjustable straps everywhere, including the heel. That way the sandal would truly be a "custom" fit. I ordered and am keeping the Naot Madison sandal which has two hook and loop straps. Thanks Zappos!

I typically wear 7.5 or 38, but in this case the sizing listed was more accurate in US sizes (38=7) so I exchanged for a 39. These are very lightweight and don't feel like they will last forever but are a good balance of practical and fashionable for an upcoming trip.

Liked the sandal but too wide for my foot.

Love Naots but lately their sizes are not as narrow and the length is a bit shorter than usual.
