I love these Naot sandals. I've hiked all over the west in them throughout the years -- in the desert, up Calif's coastal hills, through streams. When I lived in the city, they were great to walk in. In all cases, I was always comfortable, my feet supported. I generally wear 8.5 medium and have a fairly high arch. In the Kayla's I wear a 9. I knocked down the style category to 4 stars because velcro is not my favorite way of fastening shoes or sandals but it works well enough.

I've had multiple pairs of Naot Kayla size 39 over the past 15 or so years. They are a good choice for my size 8.5 - narrow to medium width- feet with post- surgical sensitivity. The straps mercifully avoid the bunion area. Naots are supportive, comfortable, and blend in a subtly-fashionable way with casual to dressy attire. The Kayla footbed borders on being nearly too narrow and too short, but nothing hangs over. I once tried size 40, but it was too roomy in all aspects, including the non- adjustable toe straps. The Kayla's adjustable mid-foot strap is wonderful for getting a comfortable fit. These plain Matte Black ones go with all the Black variations in my wardrobe. For the Browns, I love the subtle Copper-colored Naots. My all-time favorite is the Pewter, a beautiful soft and useful grey, which I hope has not been discontinued in favor of the current shiny Silver/Mirror, and the distressed Metal. If I could change something for the future design of Naot Kayla, I'd like a few extra millimeters of length and width. Make a non- staining footbed or one that could be effectively cleaned (the leather upper stays new-looking much longer than the footbed.) Lastly, I hope Naot will forgo the bright shiny iterations of silver-grey, and continue to offer pewter-grey leather in their pearly finish that I will love (and would buy) forever!

The Naot Kayla is extremely comfortable for me. I have a very, very hard time finding shoes and sandals that are comfortable and these are amazing! Also, I have a bunion on the outside edge of my foot that sticks out when I where most sandals; however, on these sandals, the strap across covers it just perfectly.

Shoe straps are a little stiff but break in rapidly. These shoes LAST and are so comfortable.This is my second pair. The first is still going strong after 8+ years of summer wear. Love Naot. Plus, customer service is fantastic!!! Highly recommended.

Comfort and support all day. If you wear orthotics as I do, you won't need them with this sandal.

I love this shoe; in fact, so much that I ordered another pair in a different color. I have foot issues and cannot wear some sandals, such as thongs. These sandals are stylish enough to be cute and are extremely comfortable. I love the velcro closing; so easy to get on and off. The support is great and the shoe is not so wide that my feet travel forward. I love everything about the shoe and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for comfort and support. It doesn't hurt that it is really cute on!

I purchased this shoe in bright blue and it is stunning. Comfortable right out of the box. No break in time and the straps are soft and flexible. The perfect shoe.

These sandals feel like slippers on my feet. I have tried several at shoe stores and subsequently ordered several styles of Naot sandals from Zappos and the Kayla style won in the end. I believe this color (copper) and this style and certainly the fit will work for our European trip in August. I have narrow feet that I also refer to as "Princess and the Pea" feet- AKA Super Sensitive to pressure point, uncomfortable straps, etc. These sandals were the narrowest and fit my feet the best of all of the ones I ordered- (others were Sophia and Madison.) Kayla is the winner. Thank goodness for Zappos. It turns my home into a high end shoe boutique!

I have been very satisfied. The fit was just right and they are very, very comfy. I've had a lot of compliments on these sandals . Overall, very pleased.

You people at Zappos have a lot of patience. After sending back two pair of sandals, I finally returned to my favorite--Naot Kayla which I love and never have problems. Thank you for your wonderful service.

WOw was this sandal too narrow. I ordered a 12m (43) and my toes were squished

I love these sandals! They are extremely comfortable and allow my feet to breathe! Naot has become my go-to brand for style and comfort. Well worth the money!

Got my first pair of these in 1998 when I traveled to China to adopt our daughter. They are perfect for traveling especially when you will be doing a lot of walking. The clay nubuck is a nice neutral that goes with everything. I also love that it is not a flat sandal, it has just the right amount of wedge. I'm SO happy to have another pair of these sandals back in my life again. They really are awesome! Just so you know, I originally tried on a leather pair in a shoe store and found them to be a bit snug across the top of my foot. I decided to order the clay nubuck from Zappos since those were the original ones I had years ago and do not remember them being tight. The straps on them are a soft suede and more forgiving than the regular leather. They fit my size 9M foot perfectly and I love them!

These shoes are great - immediately comfortable without needing break in time. The straps are soft so don't cut into my foot, and the shoes are definitely bunion and hammer toe friendly. I highly recommend this style!

Amazing shoes and so comfort! Everyone complimented me about them. Looks great with skirt, dresses, jeans everything! Sporty and elegant.

This is my 2nd pair of these shoes. I have very tender feet and shoes tend to hurt. This shoe has never given me a problem. Can walk for hours in them.

These shoes are wonderful. I have bunions and fallen arches and they are comfortable for me. Itake an american size 8 and the size 39 fits well. I 've relied on them for the past several summers and I keep a spare pair just in case.

Great looking sandal and very comfortable. The top strap was initially tight on my small toe and rubbed but it has softened and been broken in.

Am loving the gunmetal color. It's absolutely beautiful. Depending on the lighting it has a gold tone or silver tone. Great neutral oolor. I am normally a 9.5 but got a 10 (41). My smaller toes stick out just slightly over the sole but don't think so much that it will bother me that much. Haven't walked them enough to evaluate comfort but initial try feels good. Meet feet do run on the slightly narrow side and it has a perfect fit on the straps. So reviews on this runs narrow is spot on. I also got the Krista in Black with the thought of returning one of them but think I may keep both. They look very comfy and looks like I can use them for everything this summer.

I love these shoes - it is the second pair that I have owned, and I find the black color great for work (slightly casual but it is the summer). I walk several miles a day and never get blisters in these, or in fact, in any Naots (this is my third pair). Even with all the walking, these usually last me about five years. These are more or less true-to-size, although my other Naots are one size smaller so if you are on the fence, I would order these in a slightly larger size.

I really wanted to like this sandal- so many colors to choose from!- but the style does not work for those with less thick feet. (By 'less thick', I mean in terms of foot's height, not in terms of the narrowness of the foot's width.) The length of the footbed seems to run short, but the front straps become markedly looser as you go up in size. Sizing up solved the length issue for me but the front straps ended up being too loose. Had to return.

I love this shoe! This is the second pair I have owned in the same color. They are stylish and comfortable. Be sure to use cork sealer on the cork for longer wear and if the heels begin to wear, take them to a shoe store for a little piece of leather to be placed on the heel.
