Runs a full size large. Measured my daughter's feet and per the Hoy Shoe site, she is a size 3 per their chart. However, she just outgrew a size 1 in these sandals. Ordered a size 3, they were huge. Going with the 2. I should have known as these are our 6th or 7th pair! Otherwise, these are AWESOME shoes. My girls have been wearing this style since they were toddlers. In all those years they have held up for 2 kids' worth of wear, and then have been handed down to littler friends. The red leather is our favorite, and looks brand new after 2 seasons of use. Once, 1 pair arrived defective (sole was peeling up) and was replaced free of charge. On a more recent pair, the strap broke away from the sole at the inner ankle; this was after 2 girls' worth of use so I figure this is expected, but it is the first time we've ever had a pair actually break...but they were outgrown anyway. Grip and support are **fantastic**. My girls have worn these on summer hikes; climbed on rocks by the ocean, and slippery rocks near a river. We prefer these to Keen style shoes and I only wish they made the cushioned sole in adult sizes! Style: My older daughter ordered the gold to try a change of style, but she didn't care for the white insole. It did look a little strange. If it was gold to match the strap, we might have kept them. Going back to red!

Great shoes! They are durable and my toddler can't take them off by herself, so they stay on. They also seem to be pretty comfortable - no complaints and the sole is really soft. These are great shoes!

I'm about to order my daughter's third pair of these sandals She's only on her third pair because the darn kid keeps growing every year. Each pair is left still looking brand new and every year she's asked if she can have the same exact pair. She adores them as much as I do. They wear well, look adorable, and are comfortable. I love their classic styling (it seems that everyone that passes her does too, with all the complements she's gotten), and she loves how ruby red they are. Salt Water Sandals and summer are a timeless pair.

These are super cute and my picky toddler loves them. They fit well and don't flop around on her feet. A staple for any 2 year old's closet.

I absolutely love these shoes! They fit beautifully and my four year old daughter says they are really comfortable. They are holding up nicely after much wear and are super easy to clean. I bought a navy pair and a white pair. I am going to order a pink pair as well.

These sandals are awesome! My children can wear them straight out of the box with no issues of rubbing or blisters that you can get with cheaper sandals. The leather is super soft. I also love the fact that they can go from the water to dry land. They are comfy and stylish. I've ordered them for years and my kids always get compliments of these sandals!

Love these sandals... my son is 16 months, has wide feet and the size 5 fit well. They are long, but because of the strap they stay on, and fit width wise and he has room to grow in them. I bought him the tan ones. Too cute. Great sandal, great quality for the price.

I love Saltwater sandals of all persuasions, but these are great for my kiddo! Because the sole is a little more robust, it's more workable for her to wear around than the traditional saltwater sandal, with all the same style.

I love these shoes. My daughter had them in dark brown last year; this year she chose red. They are not indestructible (if you drag your feet on the pavement, the red leather will eventually wear off), they are very durable. And, perfect for summertime play in the water fountains at the playground. My 3yo can even manage the buckles.

I bought these for all three of my kids. They are really well-made sandals. Great classic design without any flashing lights or cartoonish characters on them makes them easy shoes to wear for play or for dressing up in the summer. So far the color has stayed nice and bright and they are in pretty good shape for all the romping around they do. We've been to the pool, the beach, and in the rain in them and they still look fantastic.

Salt Water Sandals are the best!!! This is my daughter’s third pair and again we are more than happy with them. In the past I have bought the double buckled sandal; thought I'd change it up this time. My daughter has thin feet and they fit nicely, but if your child's feet are wider than average you are better off buying the double buckle version so you can vary the width. Love, love, love them!!!

We love these sandals - they are comfy and easy for my 15 month old to cruise around in. The rubber sole seems to offer lots of support.

Bought these sandals last summer for my 1 year old and will be purchasing them every year that I can for her. They were the only shoe I purchased and she wore them all summer. They went to church, in mud puddles, on the playground and in the lake. They were very stable for her and they looked like almost new at the end of the summer and they they were wet and dirty many times. She hated wearing shoes until she had these sandals.

These sandals have become a summer staple for my girls. Love the colors, they fit true to size, they can be cinched for a narrow foot, like my older daughter, or fit great on my toddler's chubbier foot. The buckle is great for younger ones if you don't want them taking their shoes off at every opportunity. The sandals wear and wash great.

These are the ultimate in sandals for children! My own daughters wore this brand during their childhood many years ago. The well-cushioned sole and the support of the straps is excellent! Bought these for my granddaughter who lives on an island north of Sydney, Australia. That they are not affected by water is ideal! I might add that she has more than one color!

I used to own a children shoes store. These sandals were our #1 seller. They are the most comfortable, flexible, sandals for a girls little growing feet. True to size.Super soft leather. They definetly look better on than how you see them on the picture. I carried Naturino, Pediped, UMI, all the expensive brands, and these are the only sandals my daughter has worn since she started walking. Shes now 6.

Love the rubber sole, makes it easy for the little ones to run in. The leather is soft and breaks in nice to your child's foot. The shoes are easy to wash. When they got dirty I just scrubbed with soap and warm water, and they look like new. I will buy more of the same sandal next spring.

My almost four-year-old loves these. They go with almost everything. She quickly learned to work the buckle herself.

Salt Water sandals were a summer tradition when my kids were small, so this summer, I purchased three pairs of these adorable little sandals for my 2-year old grandson (red, brown, and white). The great thing about this particular style is the sole has been changed from the old-school hard rubber to this new soft, flexible rubber-type sole. He gets so many compliments on his sandals and everyone asks where I found them? I say, Zappos! Love these sandals and will keep this summer tradition alive in our family.
