I was hoping to love these for my wide-ish, bunion and psoriasis-ridden feet, but they were not right for me - not wide enough in the areas where I needed it, and the thick leather didn't feel as though it would stretch very easily. The leather caused friction with the sides of my feet. Overall they also looked masculine and too much for the size of my foot, yet due to the friction issues I would not want to try them any smaller. I returned these, and opted for a favorite: the Kayla modal, which works beautifully for me and has a wonderfully comfortable footbed! I have some other Naot models: Monterey, Ashley and Matai. I just couldn't handle the heavy look of these and the friction they caused on my psoriasis-afflicted feet.

There is a hard ridge on the suede footbed that was about to give me a blister - the footbed is not all cushion where your toes fall, unless you get a bigger size so your toes are no where near the sides, but then it would be too wide for me. It felt like one of my big toes was going to develop a blister while trying them around the house. The shoes are also heavy. I wanted to like them, but I didn't want to chance getting blisters from them. I guess the people writing positive reviews are able to ignore the hard ridge on the footbed.

These sandals look fine. But the leather of the straps is so stiff that it would take a long time to make it bearable and wearable. Unlike most Naots I've tried, these have to go back.

I ordered a size 7. I normally wear a a 7, 7.5 or 8, depending upon the brand and style. The arch support is outstanding, fabulous! However, the shoes are clunky and heavy, not feminine at all. I bought them for the superior arch support. However, after one week, the buckle of one sandal fell off while I was walking across my living room floor. During the one week I owned the shoes, I wore them every day, but only indoors. Zappos allowed me to return these shoes. The buckles must be a poor quality, or poorly made, to fall apart like that. I won't replace these with the same thing. Imagine if I were out running errands in town and I suddenly had no way to keep the sandal on my foot! Very unsettling.
