About two years ago I purchased these sandals and loved them. They were wearing out and squeaking while I walked, so I ordered another pair in the exact same size. These sandals were shorter than my original pair, but fit well enough to keep them. It was somewhat troubling that the sandals arrived without their shoe box, but the footbed appeared clean.

Not for me because of the weight of the sandal. Very cute look, cushioned and soft foot bed, comfortable straps. However, I found the weight of these to be too heavy for comfortable if I wanted to wear these for more than a quick errand. If the sole were a different material, they would not be as heavy.

These are heavy shoes but that's what I like about them. I used to have the same shoe only with a strap around the back. I thought I would try the slip-on this time. Unfortunately they don't stay on my foot quite as well as I would like when I'm walking. I think this may be due to my feet though, which have low arches. Nevertheless, I'm sure I will enjoy these shoes for many years to come. And I even have extra Naot insoles for them when those wear out.

Comfy fit…might take a little breaking in. The style was just a bit to clunky for what I wanted them for.

Quite a few customers said to size down, but since I am at the larger end of a 39, I did not. I found the 39 fit me perfectly in length. There was plenty of room in the toe box but I didn't like the way it fit in the lower end of my foot. Overall, I would recommend it - I just found other styles that suit me better.

The issue was the way my toes hit the edge of the shoe and it was not comfortable. Otherwise they were very nice, indeed.

These are a little clunky looking but they're adjustable in the width, comfy and I think the fact that there's leather on the sides will keep pebbles out while I'm walking the dogs, so I'm going to keep them. I usually wear 9-9.5 narrow and got a size 40.

The shoes were nice and wide which I like but I found the straps pinched my foot a bit and I want something with more of a closed toe.

I tried using the shoe in house but find the shoe is really heavy for me. My right big and second toe is hammer toed and it did not feel comfortable.

I wanted to like these sandals because I need to wear special made orthotics. These sandals appear well made, but alas, for me too narrow in the forefoot as little toe was all squished. Thus, I return them.

I wear an 8 1/2 and since many reviews said this ran large, I thought I would get the size for 8 to 8 1/2. But the shoe was too small. I wasn't crazy over the style, so I ended up with a different brand and went up to the size 9.

I wear an 8 1/2 and these don't run in half sizes. Other reviewers said it ran large so I decided to try the 39 (size 8). It just didn't run large enough. My toe and heel rested on the stictching which was uncomfortable.

Thought these would work for me. But.....even though t hey had a NICE ROUND toe AND are considered "WIDE" by Naot: I had to return them. Maybe last Summer they would have been good for me - BUT I recently developed a Bunionette OR "Tailor's Bunion" below pinky toe. These lovely shoes press in on that spot (2 straps without the leather CONNECTING them is O.K.). The combination of thick leather & wide straps didn't work on my Left Foot. MY RIGHT foot was VERY Happy. Nice footbed. It is replaceable. This LOOKS like the SAME type of footbed as in my Alegria Clogs, but the shoe does not feel as firm. So......TRY them - they might work well for your feet. I am considering 2 other Naot Styles in Wide: Kayla and Jacey. Both are a little dressier and I needed a practical "everyday" Summer shoe.

These are unbelievably comfortable. I love Naots for the comfort and the fact that I haven't had trouble with plantar fasciitis for about ten years since I started wearing them. I wear orthotics with my athletic shoes, but do not need them with Naots. I ordered my regular size, 39, because 38 was not available, and they fit perfectly with the buckles adjusted as tight as possible. I hope they do not stretch so much that I have to punch another hole. My favorite Naots are Karaoke. I have worn out 4 or 5 pair of them. I wanted some new ones, but my size is currently only available in black, which I do not want. These are just as comfortable as the Karaoke, but not as attractive.

The maker suggested ordering a size smaller but I am really happy that I didn't follow that advice because my regular size fit perfect. I use orthotics and these fit into the shoe perfectly. My main complaint with Naot is that the leather edges are very sharp on a bare foot, I have bought a leather conditioner and hope that using that will soften the edges. These shoes are quite a bit wider than the Karena style for comparison, much roomier.

Loved the look of these sandals. I have a narrow foot 7AA, and these sandals could not be adjusted enough to compensate for me. I tried buckling them all the way over, but still wasn't enough. The length did seem to be true to size. Also, the soles seemed to be a bit stiff, but could just need to be broken in. I had to send them back, due to width.

I've had three pairs of Mikaela's and many other Naot styles and they fit and support my size 42 plantaar fasciitis feet well. I want to chime in to agree with some other reviews that Naot's quality (on at least Mikaela) seems to have decreased. My last pair is just a year old (I don't wear them all the time) and they are wearing out in the front (the cork and leather around the toe area). I love this shoe and would like Naot to improve the longevity as described above as I'm questioning whether I should ever buy another pair of them.

I liked the chunky style of the sandal, but with the foot problems I have - neuropathy in particular - the upper straps were not comfortable to me, and the footbed was not "cushy," something I need. Some have said they ran big; I found them true to size both in length and width.

I wear a 7 1/2 to 8 normal shoe size and the 38 in this shoe fit me. I love the footbed of this shoe, and is has great arch support; however, for some reason the natural leather on the top over my foot just irritates my skin. I have high arches and a medium-wide shoe. I wonder if I wore it longer it would eventually soften up and not feel rough...but spending this much for a pair of shoes, I'm afraid to take the risk. Naot - wish you would make the inside of your uppers a smooth leather texture...would be perfect shoe for me if you did! If I wanted to wear this with socks, it would be very comfy. Sadly, I am returning this shoe.

Okay, somehow I was expecting Birkenstocks on a lug sole. I imagined stability and cushioned support. I saw myself taking off-road walks in them. Wrong. They feel fine indoors, but they look more rugged than they actually are. I had trouble adjusting the buckles which are stiff. They are not quite up to the quality of Birkenstock. They look like a knock-off, and kind of are. (1) Get a half size smaller as others have suggested. Style-wise, they're a bit of a miss. Somehow, their clunkiness leans toward Ethel Mertz. Still, I'm wearing them, but I wouldn't buy them again.

Larger than Naot Cornet. My orthotic is too thin for this shoe.

These were just way too big and heavy.

The leather was to stiff for my liking and I knew that if I kept them I would end up with blisters. They have a nice rugged look.

I'm an 8.5 and the 8 fit perfectly. Unfortunately, there was not enough arch support in these for me. The finish on the cork insert was also not as uniform as I would expect from a Naot shoe.

Contrary to other reviews, this shoe does not have arch support, it it flat at the arch
