Originally saw these shoes in a specialty shoe store for over $75.00. Found the exact shoe at Zappo's for much cheaper, and they fit perfect and feel great! Would recomend these shoes to anyone who spends a lot of time on their feet. Zappos is the best, not only was I able to purchase this shoe at a huge discount, but I received my new shoes the day after I ordered (Zappos shipped next day at no cost, even though I only specified standard delivery). I will definitely purchase from Zappos again and will recomend them to all my friends.

Comfy Docs - Very comfy, wore them all day the first day.

Nice casual/dressy shoe! This is a nice Doc with a casual, yet dressy look, depending on how you wear it. I have really narrow feet, so I have to pull the laces tight, but overall, they are comfortable and cute. They run on the larger size, but order your true size and you should be ok.

Cool Shoes... I just got them, and I am pleased with how they look and the construction. They're a bit wider than I expected, but my friend said they make my feet look small. Always a good thing since I wear a size 10. I appreciated the quick shipping, too. Thanks!

Great Shoe! This is the most comfortable pair of Dr. Martens I have. I can wear them all day while working at a busy animal clinic on my feet all day - they do not give in. They look great with anything casual!

Doc Marten-Mel - This was my first pair of Docs, and I already ordered them in 2 more colors! They're super comfortable, partly due to the larger toe box and are good if you wear orthotics, like me. I will definitely be getting more Doc Martens in the future!

Extremely comfortable! These Docs rock! They're very comfortable right out of the box, and no need for break-in time. I loved my first pair so much that I bought two more pair! No other shoe store even compares with the service of Zappos! First-class all the way!

Doc's Mel - These are great! I just got these in the mail today and I love them. They have the usual Doc feel to them. I think that I'll need to wear band-aids on the back of my heels for a couple days because the padding right at the top of the heels rub a bit, but they are plenty wide and roomy. I usually wear a 7.5 but always a 7 in Docs, and they are perfect. They have the typical Doc's sole and a nice retro look. I got the dark brown. I usually always end up with black shoes, but these are almost as versatile. They look cute with jeans or cords. Zappos is the best, as I received these in two business days, and their return policy is great. I returned another pair of shoes recently and the return process couldn't have been easier unless they personally came to my door!

Nothing like the picture - I have these with the high neck. I was quite disappointed at first because the front part was more squared than in the picture, and the colour (Denim) was quite different. However, once I got used to looking at them I love them! Their look is unique, and the colour is wonderful. They fit a little too big, so the arches do not fit right, but nothing an extra pair of socks can not fix! My 4th pair of Docs, and 2nd off Zappos. Very satisfied with both.

Great Shoe - This is a very comfortable shoe. Being a 31 year old mother of two I didn't want a shoe that looked to "young" for me but I also wanted something that is still stylish. This is the perfect shoe. Not a big clumpy sole like some shoes out these days, Still looks trendy but not too young. Great price, get them before they are all gone.Zappos upgraded my shipping for free and received them within 2 days.

What a great deal!! Holy cow, what great shoes. What I love about Docs is that once you know what size you wear, you never have to worry about it again. These shoes fit very well. The cap toe works really well because my right foot is a wee bit wider than my left. Often my little toe gets painfully squished in M width shoes, but these are very comfortable, even with fairly thick cotton socks. I walked around in the living room after they got here...two day UPS instead of 4-5 days, by the way, so very awesome...and I was instantly in love. My dog wanted to go for a walk, so I had the shoes on, away we went. All you need to break these in is 30 minutes. Fabulous. These will be great to wear to work, whether I'm in slacks or jeans. And I think they'll handle the Northwest rain coming in a month or so quite well. They're soo stylish and look much better on my feet than I had anticipated. Yay Docs!

Colors not true to picture - I'm going to return these because there is a gold spray-painted effect on the shoe that gives it a look that I didn't like. I'm going to return these.

I really like these. They run bigger than their size indicates, though. I normally wear a 7.5/8. I read other comments about the sizing and decided to order a 7 and they fit perfectly. Overall, I'm pleased with the shoes.

Not like old Dr. Marten's. These are very comfy. I bought a full-size smaller as suggested and they fit perfectly.

I liked the feel of this shoe--it is roomy and comfortable. I found it to be much more 'blue' than the picture shows. My only complaint is that the color wore off the top of the toe area after wearing them twice. Comletely beige now. I am a stay at home mom, so I cannot come up with any activity that could have caused this other than getting on the carpet to play with the kids.

Runs big - This shoe ran a little big for me -- but most European shoes do as I wear a 7 and they will fit up to 7.5. I recommend gluing another insole to the one it comes with. I like the look of the shoe but there isn't as much contract in the "stripes" as the picture shows. Also, they put a little pressure on the ball of my foot but I think that will be resolved with wear. They are keepers, especially at Zappos' price.

Zappos.com WOW! This is the first pair of Docs I've gotten (I usually go for Clarks) and my first order with Zappos. These shoes are so comfortable! THEY GOT HERE IN A DAY! I love you Zappos and will be ordering again with you, VERY SOON!

Completely rounded toe and the Dr. Martens signature yellow side stitching is more prominent than I'd like. Extremely comfortable shoes. The supports are amazing.

Watch out for scuffs! I really loved these shoes the moment I took them out of the box- and they were a great price at Zappos of course! The only thing is that the color coating on these shoes is very thin (especially compared to my previous Docs) and they scuff easily. If you're a klutz like me you might want to think twice about these; but I still love them!

I wish Docs came in half sizes - I normally wear a size 8 and these 8 were way too big, about a full size too big. I have to wear 2 pairs of thick socks with them!

Lovin' it. They are your basic clunky groovy bowling shoe knock off, but are way cool enough to get the job done.

Swimming in them! Depending on brand/shoe, I wear an 8 or 8 1/2; so I ordered a UK 6 (US 8). These left nearly an inch at the toe and too much width in the toe area...bulky socks or inserts might do the trick, but opted to return instead.

After reading other reviews I was anxious to try out these shoes. However, I am disappointed with the look and comfort. The shoe style is cute, but leather has the worn look, that makes it too "casual" for work (you couldn't tell this from the picture). The sole of the shoes feels almost bumpy, uneven, and odd when you walk. I definitely won't wear these if I have to be on my feet for too long.

Odd... I was veey excited to recieve this shoe, untill I opened the box. The picture looks very different than the actual shoe in real life. I was not pleased at all with the looks. Although they are very comfy, the looks don't compare.

Dr Martens 2B24 Series - This is a well made shoe. It looks good and has a lot of class, but this shoe is too heavy. I have a hammertoe on my right 2nd toe, I don't generally wear socks, It was very painful. I wear a size 7 1/2 and I odered a size 8 as I do sometimes. The shoe is not only heavy, but as a size 8 it's too big. I'm returning them.
