While these shoes were comfortable and true to size, they felt cheaply constructed. Just walking around the house, I felt the insoles lifting with every step.

I have had several other types of Onitsuka Tigers and loved them. Most pairs last me a year or two. Within 3 months most of the tread was worn off the bottom of these shoes, and after 8 months, a 1/2 tear developed on the side of one of these shoes. Horrible quality. Will not purchase again.

I love the looks, love the sole, but apparently I have exceedingly wide, gargantuan monster feet. That or these tend to run narrow (heel to toe sizing was spot on, but width was very tight). I went after the M66 because it's about as minimal a full athletic shoe as you get while still maintaining all the shoelike goodness I wanted. I got the minimal support, the flexible sole I wanted, but the ability to splay out my toes just wasn't remotely possible. I could just remove my pinky toe from each foot, but I'll just return them instead (the shoes, not my feet).

I have wide feet at 5'6" & 150lb these shoes were just too narrow. Even at a size larger than I normally wear. Too bad as the styling and construction on these is really nice.

On both pairs I received (had to send one back due to wrong size), the sole didn\'t seemed fully glued in and the interior sides seemed the loosest. The tongue seemed like it wasn\'t sewn properly. The shoes look great, but offer little more comfort than a thin soled shoe.

These are very slippery shoes, like for real. If the floor is a bit wet or depending on which floor type, your shoes will just take life of their own trying to make you fall. Be very careful with this. I'm trying sandpaper on the bottom of the shoes.

Slippery on wet tile, the flap on the back drives me nuts. It doesn't stay down. I have to crazy glue it down and the shoe doesn't breathe well. Would I buy them again? Yup, they are a fun shoe, look great, comfortable enough and I get a lot of compliments.

There is not much to this shoe which is partially what drew me to it. Though, it is about as comfortable as having a piece of leather tied around your foot, which it essentially is. The sole is very thin which may lower your clearance enough to cause ware on the bottom of your jeans. It has a great overall look about it, but I'd recommend another version of this shoe that has more form than this, such as the Ultimate 81 (I love this shoe).

Way too feminine for a dude - I bought this shoe in the birch/poison green. I own other O-Tiger shoes as well. Pros- They feel great, they're super lightweight, and the color combos are better than most, the poison green is just awesome. Cons- Guys, look out - take it from a guy who's not above wearing pink or a flower print once in awhile... something about the heel and the slimness of this shoe makes it look really feminine, like a ballet slipper or something. It just doesn't work on my man-feet the way I'd hoped it would. Returned.

Cool looking but only for those with narrow feet. These shoes are really cool looking, but fall a bit short in the comfort and construction departments. The upper material is incredibly thin, as is the sole. Though this clearly helps the shoe be light as a feather, there is very little cushioning happening here and the shoe feels like it wouldn't last terribly long. It runs a bit narrow and small, so I would only recommend this shoe to people with very narrow feet that don't need much arch support. Disappointing overall, as I really liked the look of the shoe.

No support - These shoes look great, but if you have a high arch, or need any support of any kind, these are not the shoes for extended wear. After a long walk or a day on my feet I am in pain.

The tread on the bottom of the shoes is pretty questionable and the shoes don't give much traction if they're wet. They're comfortable and good looking, but I don't know how long they'll have tread on the bottom for.

Nice shoe - Nice looking shoe, but gets a little uncomfortable after wearing for a while. They should be made with a little more cusion, even after just a short time on your feet you get a little sore.

Not to be worn for long periods of time - Light weight, good looking shoes. But don't plan on wearing them for long hours.

Not worth it for the price, but still sweet - They've got their ups and downs: Pros: -Lightweight, and insole has lots of holes so your feet can breathe.. a BIG plus! -Pretty stylish looking shoe, looks good with shorts or dark jeans -It's a Japanese retro shoe! Cons: -The Tiger tag keeps folding and unfolding while I'm wearing the shoes. Thinking about cutting them out… -Kind of pricey compared to the rest of the Onitsuka series. -Extremely thin soles; I can tell they'll be worn down in a couple of months. In my opinion, if you want a more stylish Onitsuka shoe with the same lightweight feel and thin soles, go for the Tai Chi. It's cheaper anyway!

Look great, feel awful - These shoes are so incredible looking, but they were so narrow that I couldn't stand to wear them for long. I HAVE been told that they stretch out a bit with some wear, but I couldn't afford that chance and sent them back to Zappos. I also found the tag on the back a bit annoying, as it never wanted to stay down when I was wearing the shoes. They also have VERY thin soles and absolutely no arch support. You feel everything you walk across. I feel kind of bad for those Olympians in 1966. But you can't beat them for how they look. Maybe you should order a half size larger.

Beauty in simplicity - Feather light, good looks all at reasonable price?!?!? What more could one ask for? I am hesitant to offer up a glowing review of these shoes for fear that I'll see every other person sporting them shortly thereafter. Today's shoe designers and manufacturing companies should be ashamed at the eyesores they are producing in the name of form and fashion.

This shoe looks and fits great but it is not at all comfortable...at least not for more than a couple hours. The sole is very thin so I had to put new thicker insoles to keep from feeling the cement. For the price they could stand to be a bit more foot freindly.

This shoe doesn't have the Asics lining most are accustom to, which affects the comfort.

Had to send these back. I purchased the DARK GREY/OFF WHITE color but the moment you take a step they're super squeaky. I have 3 pairs on Onitsuka Tigers already (including 1 pair of Mexico 66) so I'll definitely buy them again, unfortunately this one pair was terrible. So glad I bought these from Zappos, returns are easy.

I had high hopes for these, as had a white leather pair (purchased in Germany five years ago) that were pretty comfortable. I ordered the wine color, hoping that they would be a cool canvas shoe (the leather ones are too hot to wear in summer). Was seriously disappointed: not only was the wine color unattractive in person, but the shoes were stiff and uncomfortable too. I am returning them. This is a cheap-feeling shoe for the price.

I love the style of these shoes, but I'm returning them because of the flap on the back. I don't know if I just got a defective pair or if it's a design flaw, but the flap sticks straight out or up instead of lying flat against the back of the shoe. And it feels like it would rub the back of my heel in any case. So sad. I otherwise love the way they look.

A few years ago I wore out a pair of ulimate 81's (back when they had a black with red stripes color scheme) because I wore them every day in all types of weather and work for about a year. It seems the quality control isn't what it was for this type of shoe, so I'm returning them. This time I found the arch support was a full 3/4" toward the rear in the left shoe compared to the right, resulting in a weird 'bump' feeling. At first I thought it might just be my feet but I actually can visually see and measure the difference from the heel cup. I have long toes so this is normally never a problem; if anything the ball of my foot hits the arch support and not the nearly the heel as in this case. Then the rubber toe guard outsole on the right shoe was applied all wanky so it was asymmetric and obviously different from the left toe. Overall I'm not impressed and I think there's a good reason why we don't see these shoes in regular stores anymore.

Great looking and really comfortable shoe. Unfortunately, I walk a lot (about 35 miles a week) and just four months after I got them the soles are completely destroyed with quarter sized holes on the center ball of each foot. Also I had a lot of problems with the dye leaching and ruining my socks even when the shoes weren't wet. While I really enjoyed the comfort of these as a walking shoe there's no way I can purchase another pair at $80. Great looking and really comfortable shoe.
