I like these so much more than the original Tigers (which were great too). Although both are relatively narrow, close-fitting shoes, these seemed more "tubular" in shape than the former, which were just slightly "flatter/wider" in the toe box area. They do seem to fit large though (not wider, just longer) and while I'm usually a 6.5 in my other Asics running shoes, I had to exchange these for a 5.5.

These are very nice. I get compliments everywhere, but they do not last long. I ripped the tabs off the rear putting on one shoe; holes forming at pinky toe on side; toe protection part of sole separated from upper after a few months. If you can darn a sock, can you darn these shoes?

I tried these zero drop Onitsuka Tigers as a lower cost alternative to the Merrell barefoot. The Tigers are more stylish and fit well on my narrow B width foot. I like that the simple design on soles do not pick up mud but they can be slippery on wet surfaces. The workmanship and leather are good quality. Overall, I believe the Merrells feel slightly better when walking but they both feel nice. After wearing high support sneaks for most of my life, it took a few weeks for my muscles to strengthen and adapt to the barefoot style. Now I would not wear anything else.

I like the shoes, very cool looking. But just know they are almost like track shoes. No padding at all.

I bought these shoes so I could have something neutral colored and comfortable to stand in for concerts. They are comfortable though they could use more support on the sides. The color is good. I wish the front toe area was leather as well but that is my only complaint besides the support.

These are nice shoes. I like the material and they are fairly comfortable to wear with or without socks. My main problem with these shoes is that they are abnormally long and narrow. No wide size is offered and no size really fits my foot. I also find the arch in the shoe to be fairly irritating.

Super lightweight and overall pretty comfortable. Only downfall is no arch support .

I'm a size 8 in every sneaker except my running shoes, these fit great. This was a true navy color. The style of the shoe makes my foot look big, so I returned.

Just purchased my 4th pair of these shoes! I wear a 11.5N and have great difficulty finding shoes that fit. These actually fit and since they tie, I can make the width fit easily. I really like the heather grey fabric. It looks like felt. Not sure how well it will wear but if I can find shoes that fit, I pretty much buy them regardless of what they are made of. In terms of comfort, there isn't any arch support. The shoe is totally flat inside. I put in arch supports I buy and they work for me. I am a teacher and stand all day and with the inserts, my feet are happy.

I've had these now for 6 months. I think these are some of the best looking shoes that I've had! That said, they have about as flat a sole can be, almost the same as walking barefoot. If you do a lot of walking, either add sole cushions or pass on these. For someone that's 6'2", I have slender, running type feet, and these fit me perfectly, like Puma's. So if you have wide or thick feet, I think they may not fit you well. I had some initial discomfort with the leather pull tabs that fold into shoe, they were really digging into my Achilles heel.. They got better the second day and now I don't have that issue at all. As far as wear & tear, they still look good, but the soles are showing wear. The soles aren't good for wet pavement, on dry pavement they're awesome. But you'll probably slip & fall if you try some fancy foot work in the rain. Lastly, I wear size 13, so I was glad to see that they didn't get disproportioned & uglier in this larger size, since I think they make their primary designs around a size 9 or 10 for mens shoes. Overall I give them about an 7 out of 10, comfort being the biggest sore spot!

I really liked the look of the shoe online, and wanted to try something different than my usual Chucks or Pumas. They were comfortable enough, but I could distinctly feel the arch in the insole up against my foot while I was wearing them, and I'm not sure if it's because this particular style is geared for men or not. They also made my foot look longer than I wanted them to, so I am sad to say that I had to send this pair back. I did notice that there is a women's version now, so I might try those.

I like the feel of "barefoot" minimalist running shoes, but needed something stiffer for riding my bike to work. With my Merrell Barefoots, the soles were so flexible that the pedal edges dug painfully into my feet. The Mexico 66 shoes are a decent compromise. They're still relatively thin and lightweight, but the soles are stiff enough to ride my bike comfortably. They took a week or two to break in. Only real issue I had was the excess arch support in the form of a foam wedge glued underneath the insole. They were much more comfortable after ripping the foam out.

The shoes were great except the bottom was a little narrow. Being a fat woman, my foot slid off to the side because the "base" wasn't wide enough for my foot and that is not a good look for me.

Very cool, soccer-ish shoes. Remind me of the Adidas Sambas I had back in the day, without being outright soccer shoes. Very little cushioning so I had to put gel insoles in them or my feet and legs would have been always aching after wearing them. They're cool though, get plenty of compliments on them.

These are great shoes for work, where I need to run around a lot and keep up a semi professional appearance. I purchased them after owning a pair of California 78s for a month or so and I do prefer the California 78 style of shoe. The sole on the Mexico 66 is fairly thin, and the heel cup was very stiff at first and required some break in time.

These are great shoes. This is the second pair that I have owned, but for some reason these feel half a size larger than the old pair.

This pair of shoes is simply excellent for everyday use, provided you have normal feet that are not too broad. These shoes are easy to mix and match with clothing. These can also be used as trainers as they are thin and lightweight (they were actually used in the 1966 Olympics), but for long distances perhaps you should look to shoes with more cushioning.

Sharp and comfortable. I don't love the tab on the back, but that's pretty minor.

I loved my Converse sneakers that I wore for the past two years, but they had no support. I needed a low, casual sneaker for chasing my toddler around the playground this summer. So far, this sneaker is doing the job well. Only thing is there is suede accents, which I don't think is particularly summery, but I would definitely recommend.

These shoes look great. The only problem I am experiencing right now is probably due to the way I walk but I find that my foot slides to one side of the shoe causing some discomfort. On the up side I like the materials used and flexibility of the shoe. I am happy with my purchase!

A very lightweight shoe that is great for walking. It's great for a casual look or even if you're walking into the office.

I have wanted to try this shoe out for a while. My Puma Romas finally gave out. It also seems they quit manufacturing the multi color styles. So now was the time to venture into new horizons. The shoe is comfy. I have a bit of a wide flat foot. The arch is not to high to be bothersome. Would not recommend as a running shoe. Good casual stylish shoe is what they seem to be meant for. Sole is a bit thin not a great breather. Still shoe is comfy and stylish. Good for walking and chilling around the neighborhood.

These shoes are narrow and can hurt if you have wide feet. They also make your feet look small, for better or worse.

Very cool shoes. I find the soles to be very tough. Almost like shoe fancy leather shoe. The upper body of the shoe really loosened up nicely and I appreciate the sort of loose leather it has become.
