These boots were great when we first got them last year. They're comfortable & my 4 year old son could put them on & take them off easily. Unfortunately there seems to be a problem with the rubber they are using. First they got crinkly all over & then the rubber started to break apart on the tops. Now it has entirely split open along the front seam of one of the boots and they're useless. Very disappointed as the other well known brand of rainboots I had for him are still in perfect shape & have made it through 2 kids!

My daughter had these boots less than a month and they split on the back heel of both boots :(

We have been ordering Kamik boots for years, with good results. We even have used them as hand-me-downs. However, this pair (and a second pair that we have) split at the heel after less than one season of normal wear. Not sure if it was an issue with that batch, or if quality has gone down in recent years. Very reluctant to purchase again!

My son loved these at first, but unfortunately they quickly get holes in the back of the ankle. Went through 2 pairs in less than a year. Both ripped at the same spot with less than 6 months of wear, making them unusable in wet conditions unless you don’t mind soaked feet!

My son wore them once - came home with wet socks/feet. He is 11 years old - no longer jumps in puddles. Sending these back.

We had these boots for less than 4 months before a huge crack appeared in the back of the boot. We had to throw them out. I went with these instead of the Hunter boots to save some money but now I have to buy another pair! I wouldn't buy these again...I would spend more on the Hunter boots that will last forever.

Bought these in red for my son. He likes them and then fit fine. They are looking good after 5 wears.

Bought this in March 2014. My son hasn't worn them since last May. Took them out of the closet yesterday and the center seam over the top of each foot is split open. My son loves them, but I won't buy Kamik again.

It's a great boot, until it cracks and becomes useless as a rain boot. Then you realize you just spent a lot for boots that last you a couple of months, if you're lucky. My son has used Kamiks for four years and this is the first time it happened. Perhaps they've lowered their standard for rubber and that's why it doesn't hold up to the cold any more. All I know is that I'm not going to gamble on Kamiks anymore.

The boots fit perfectly and they did they job - kept my little guy's feet dry! We went to put them on him the next day and they front of the boots were cracked a bit. I was optimistic and by the end of the day, the cracks had gotten deeper and were letting water in. I don't know if was just our pair that weren't made properly - very disappointing....
