I really want to give these five stars, but just can't because of the fit. My daughter wears a youth 6, and these are a good size too big for her. I wear a woman's 8.5, and on me my toes just touch the ends. She's very skinny, and the top of the boot is wider than other rain boots she's had. I would consider buying a size down. Besides that, she loves them. They seem very heavy duty, and she loves how the sole is thick and has a grip. She wears them on the school playground on rainy days, and they should last the entire school year if not longer. We are always happy with the quality of Kamik products.

The employee who assisted me over the phone was fantastic. Very customer service oriented and given my situation helped me expedite my order.

This boots are very good quality. I like that they are a little higher than the other kids boots. As another reviewer mentioned they have a strong rubber smell at the beginning, but it fades over time. I would buy the again.

I ordered these in an 8 for my son who wears an 8 XW (extra-wide) in StrideRite shoes thinking they might fit as rainboots in general always seem to run big/wide for me, but they were too small. So was a size 8 Western Chief Thomas boots I ordered. His jeans wouldn't go inside the shaft of the Kamiks so we're trying a size 10 in both boots now. I can't really say how comfortable or stylish they'd be since they were too small.

Very cute boot. I have bought this style for my boy and girl for years (wide feet and narrow feet, respectively). If you size up, it's fine for chubby feet. A little wide on my daughter's thin feet but she doesn't have a problem walking in them and hasn't complained at all about the fit. I found another very similar pair if boots at a well-known big box discount retailer. There isn't a difference in the construction quality but you should know that the knock offs don't include an insole nor are they fully lined as these are. The lining/coating is thin, but it probably does contribute to the comfort of the boot on a bare leg or ankle. The finish on the boots is very matte so dark marks on lighter colored versions may be difficult to remove. Other than that, these boots can definitely take a beating and maintain their water-tight quality over the years. Plan on handing these down because there will be more than enough life left in them when your child outgrows them. All in all, a well-made, classic product.

This boots will serve their purpose just fine. The price was right considering my son will get only one year of wear out of them. I like Bogs soft rubber and styling better, but not for the additional money.

If your child has a tall foot, these might not work. My son couldn't get his foot down in them at all! Too bad; they are so cute! I think they would be true to size if we could have gotten his foot down in them!

I think these boots are super cute. I purchased them for my 9 year old son. They are easy for him to put on and take off, but he has complained that they feel tight. He doesn't have a particularly wide foot, but I don't doubt his complaint. We are keeping the boots. They are not unbearable for him. I am just going to make sure he doesn't wear them for long walks.

With 3 boys we've tried lots of rain boots, and Kamiks are the best! They hold up to puddle stomping, mud and all kinds of antics without cracking or leaking, and are still in good enough shape to pass on to another kid when they're outgrown. They don't have cute prints, but they do a much better job of keeping little feet dry than any of the cute boots we've tried. The grips on the bottom are good, too. If they came in more colors and had pull-on handles, they'd be perfect.

Bought these boots for our 17 month old and 3 year old. They run very small. we went up 2 size. They look super cute. we have some difficulty putting them on our 17 month old. But once on they do the job.

My son is somewhere between a 13.5 and 1 Youth and the 13 fit him very well right now - it may not fit him 3 months so we're going to see if the size 1 will fit better. Runs a little narrow but not much. Goot support and great tread!

They are perfect boots for my 11 year old. He wanted boots that looked like dad's and not little brother's. They are not as good looking as the Hunter boots but a great value for the price. They are a bit sloppy, but this is pretty standard for a rain boot. I bought ours a 1/2 size too big to give us room to grow this winter. This gave us plenty of room. I am curious to see how they hold up.

My 6 1/2 year old son loves them so far. Today was the first day it actually rained and he's worn them all day at school. The only complaint I have is the smell. Even after airing out for a week they have a distinct rubbery odor.

Not crazy about these boots. They run small and the calf opening is narrower than other toddler boots. If your little one has chubby legs, these are a no-go! I threw away the box by accident, or I would have returned them.

My son loves these boots. The price was right & seem sturdy enough to last until he grows out of them.

The foot part was okay but the width was massive. Would not recommend if you have a thin leg.

This boot was oddly long and narrow, not in line with the other toddler boot brands we have tried (Bogs and Western Chief).

Found size 10 boots in size 8 box. Outer seams had not been trimmed properly. Decided to keep as child will grow into them. Just be prepared to use Zappos return policy. Zappos service excellent as usual, received boots the next day.

Very cute, durable looking, and waterproof but my toddler hates them. He complains that they're too narrow. Very hard to get on his feet (with the thinnest socks)! Getting a different brand with the handles on them to help get them on. If your kid has wide feet, consider this!

I wanted to love this boot for my 8 year old but they did not make it through one season before the rubber gave out and tore. Bonus points to Zappos for replacing them for us!!!! But I'd try a different pair.

Got these in size 5 Big Kid, for my almost 8yo - this is the same size and brand as his snow boots. He put them on easily, but we noticed that the diameter of the boots around his lower leg was HUGE. If you look at the second photo from the top down into the boot), his leg took up about half the space - I had room for all 4 of my fingers between the front of his shin and the front of the boot. He also said they "felt weird" around his ankle. And back they went!

These boots are really cute and durable, however I am returning them because the insoles have permanent wrinkles and will not stay put. My son finds them extremely frustrating (he's 3) and it's turned into a hassle every time he wears them. I am sad because his favorite color is red and these boots are VERY red. If someone found an easy remedy for this issue, the boots would still be worth it. I am just going to try a different brand.

These boots are not actually waterproof. Every time my children wear them in the rain and actually jump in puddles, their feet get wet. At first I thought they were getting water in the top, but I took a dry pair of socks and put them in the boots, and "walked" them through water, and water seeps through the bottoms. They're cute, and if you just want to wear them to and from the car in rain, that's probably fine. They also don't appear very comfortable to walk in.
