SoftWalk's Jupiter - The best, most comfortable shoe I have ever had. I am 28 years insulin diabetic and will only wear a non-binding practical shoe. I have had my first pair of Jupiter's since September 2001. Worn almost constantly for two years, the sole is just now begining to break down. I will still wear them though and buy a new pair.

I have a very narrow foot, hard to fit. I tried both the N and the S. The narrow is great in the front of the shoe but not narrow enough in the heel & instep. The slim is great in heel & instep, but tight in the front of the shoe. Love the style of the Mary Jane, it's a very cute shoe. Have had good luck with SoftWalk Adora. Hoping I can stretch out the toe box a bit with shoe trees to make that area more comfortable. So hard for narrow feet to get good shoes & not many options for us.

I've had to wait until it stopped raining to try out these shoes. My previous work shoes have become like slippers and I'm breaking these in. Very soft liner, nice rolled edges to keep away rub marks, comfortable placement of strap. I'll be keeping them but my feet haven't quite adapted yet.

First off, I gave this product 5 stars because I like plain black Mary Janes, and that's what these are. They are very comfortable except the straps chafed the top of my foot a little at first. Yes, as someone else mentioned, they make a slight squishy noise when I walk, but it's not that bad. Overall they are the most comfortable shoes I've had in recent years. They did run a little short in the foot. I usually wear a 7 but had to return the size 7 pair I first ordered and exchange them for 7 1/2.

I usually take a size 9, and these were too small. I am ordering the next size up, But the foot bed is so soft and cushy.

Not too crazy about the look of shoe, but at this point, with very wide feet, and bunions, I wear these. It was a little snug in toe box even with a WW size and my toes were touching end of shoe. The shoe is very comfortable though, for those who can fit in it. Shoe has an insert pad, that feels you're walking on clouds. I'll probably be returning for 1/2 larger.

A very comfortable and well made shoe. Looks great. I am afraid the buckle area is a weak point and I fear how long that will last...could potentially shorten the life if the shoe's wearability. I do love the shoe and it works great at my conservative workplace. Also, a true narrow that fits. Rare these days (10AA).

A good shoe - This shoe is comfortable and I like the looks of it, but my narrow heel slips up and down, so I don't wear them when I have to walk very far.

SoftWalk Jupiter - The inserts that come with the shoe are very "cushiony" and comfortable. They stay that way and seem to mold to your feet. They needed a little breaking in to soften the leather, but after a couple of wearings are fine and comfortable.

Very comfortable shoe - I walk miles a day at work and these shoes really hold up. The foam base is like walking on an egg crate mattress. The buckle is difficult to work with but the shoe can be slipped off and on. I would definitely purchase again.

Great, if not very sexy, walking shoe - I walk to work and can't stand the sneakers-and-work-clothes look many resort to my situation. I try to buy nice looking shoes that I can wear all day, not just on the walk to and from. These are not quite as hip in person as they looked to me on the site - they're a bit squashy looking. But MAN! This is definitely the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned.

Good choice - This is a sort of odd-looking shoe, but the answer to my search for something besides lace-up shoes for my very long, very narrow flat feet! It looks exactly like its picture.

Love this shoe! I had ordered a pair years ago - and could not remember the manufacturer. When I found them on Zappos I quickly bought another pair - the most comfortable shoes I own!

In love with Mary Jane - I love these shoes! I admit that I have a thing for Mary Janes and I used to be a die hard Dr. Marten wearer, but those are so hard to break in. These are not. The shoe itself is well made with soft leather and an interesting in sole. It almost feels like the eggshell things you lay on a mattress. I wear these without socks and sometimes with nylons. I have received numerous compliments as well.

I was pleased with this shoe. At first it was not comfortable but I wore it inside the house until it molded to my foot and now it's great! I wear a slim and it's hard to get a shoe in my size, especially one I can wear all day and stand in for most of the day-this fits the bill.

Too tight across instep - A very attractive looking Maryjane, however my foot is wide and instep high. I had to order a wider width than normal and a 1/2 size longer. Footbed cushion is dreamy!

Very comfortable shoe - I bought my first pair of SoftWalks last year and have never had a more comfortable shoe. I only wish they made dress shoes.

Comfy - This is a shoe that will require a little "breaking" in I think eventually it will be great for me. I have a long skinny foot with a long fat great toe. Sometimes toe boxes are to shallow for me. That is why I picked this shoe.

Great for feet that need TLC - I have never had any desire to purchase "comfort shoes" in the past but due to foot surgery I needed to have cushiony shoes and could not see myself wearing sneakers for a month. These are great, amazingly comfortable, like walking on a mattress, and not THAT comfort-shoe looking at all (several friends have expressed surprise that they are comfort shoes). The only downside is that they have given me brutal blisters on my heels, not quite sure why, but I wear a band-aid and I'm fine.

Like walking on a cloud! I took this shoe to India as my "dress up shoe" for 5 weeks. It went to the Taj, five star hotels, slums and everywhere in between. The Mary Jane style is cute and classic, especially for a "comfort" shoe.

I tried a few pairs of Mary Janes, all in the same size, and these were too small. The insole looked like it would be nice and cushy, but since I could barely get my feet in them I can't say for sure.

I really wanted to like these . The shoe was soft and comfortable but the single strap could not hold the shoe on my foot. The shoe was too heavy for the strap so they flopped all over.

Bought these for my granddaughter - she had to wait till October to grow into them so she has only had them less than a month. She loves them, they look cute, fit well for her medium wide foot, says they are very comfortable. I didn't realize just how soft the leather really is - the leather on the toes are almost gone. This is not durable leather. Not such a good buy only a month of wear.

Blisters! I had a previous soft walk Mary Jane style pair of shoes. It was perfect, but getting worn. So I got these to replace the old ones. Not good. I’m on my feet all day running workshops, and after the first day, I had a huge blister on the back where the shoe was biting in, above the heel. I had to go buy some foot first aid to deal with it. I tried them again after healing, same result. Then I pulled out my old worn pair of a similar shoe from this company, wore them for two days of workshop, and they were wonderful! (Except looking worn). I wish I could find them again. Much better than these Jupiter’s.
