Felt very stiff, I couldn’t wear them for long right out of the box. And they had a very awkward buckle, that would be very inconvenient. They must go back.

The part of the shoe that goes over the toe area cuts into my feet, like the shoe fits well in other parts of the foot but not that one. Weird fit.

This shoe I ordered 9 1/2 W and it felt a full size smaller.

They were beautiful but I couldn’t wear them. I have high arches and the banded part at the back of the toe area pinched my instep.

I really, really, really wanted to love these shoes. I had read so many good things about them, I was sure they were the solution to what I needed for choral singing that requires lots of standing, mixed with a botched bunionectomyX2. Sadly, even though my feet are narrow and I tried the shoes on with stockings, I could not get them on without forcing them -- causing my toes to jam up in the toe box. Once I did get them on, they were comfortable (a reviewer described them as "walking on pillows," and that's accurate), though my toes didn't feel like they were straightened out. After much deliberation, I opted for a (much) less expensive similar pair and returned these.

The shoe was attractive, and exactly what I wanted. I ordered a 1/2 size larger than I usually do, and the shoe was snug both size and width. I wore it for about 4 days to see if I could break them in. My feet and legs were sore. I stopped wearing them. I'm disappointed as I paid over $100 for the shoes and am reluctant to order anymore online.

Disappointed. They style is nice. The leather is soft. However, this shoe has absolutely no support. My arches turned inward and downward. Offers no comfort. Need to return them.

Ordered the 8 B. Too small. Sent them back. Tried to re-order in 8 1/2 B and they were out of stock on this. Ordered from another supplier.

The length and width were true to size but the instep/ toe box area was too shallow and was painful.

These shoes look a lot cuter in person. I really liked the style but it felt too small. Also heals are a bit elevated and I felt there is spring-type of cushioning. It could be comfortable for some people Insoles are not removable and their surface is not smooth which felt not too comfortable for me.

If you have short wide feet, these shoes are not for you because they are not true to double wide width. I've had just wide shoes that were wider than these double wide.

Would have liked better without the little-girl strap. Also they were in a box that was for a different shoe!

The padded bottom of the shoes are very comfortable but I wish they had some kind of decorative silver in the top of the shoe like the strap has

Wayyyy too narrow

The soles had a plastic inner area and this could cause a person to slip. Also, the inner soles cannot be removed. The shoe did fit well and was good to walk in.

I have been wearing these as my go to every day wear with everything shoes since 2010. One pair a year, with minimal care has in the past worked perfectly. The shoe was worn almost daily, in all types of conditions and made it through unscathed. Unfortunately since 2016 something has changed with the quality! The peeling and scratching in the toe area happens almost immediately. The back seam has torn. The inside padding is significantly thinner and not very "cushony". I've purchased this shoe from two different vendors and experienced the same issues. The price has been consistant over the years but the quality and value greatly diminished.

I have worn at least three pairs of Jupiter over the years, and they have been very comfortable. I recently found out that I should be wearing S instead of N width, so I ordered that width in my regular size. The width is fine, but the length (9.5) seems a bit short. I have worn them twice and survived the day, but I am hesitant to take them on a trip where I will be doing a lot of walking over several days. I am back on a quest for a Mary Jane- type walking shoe in a 9.5 slim. I tried SAS Maria, but had trouble with the plastic coating on the heels peeling after one wearing. This happened twice, so I have ruled those out.

These are cute looking, but the fit is all weird--the top part hurt my foot. The buckle is weird, too, like it doesn't go all the way around (look closely at the picture) which makes it hard to fasten and unfasten.

I typically wear a 12 wide and could hardly get my foot in to this shoe. I was very disappointed as the reviews had me hopeful. Returned.

I was disappointed w the overall comfort of this shoe. The shoe has a comfortable cushion inner sole, but the shoe is a bit stiff so it isn't comfortable after walking more than a few blocks. Maybe once I "break it in" thew will be more comfortable.

I would like to give these shoes a try but the 8 M that I usually wear feels a little short. 8.5 is unavailable at Zappos and I won't pay this much for shoes that don't fit properly. I'll review again if I can get the correct size.

I purchased these shoes in black and blue. I Love the appearance, fit and feel of these shoes. They felt heavenly on my feet. However, upon closer look, the sole at the base of the blue (right) shoe is broken off and eroded. Needless to say they are being returned. I hesitate to keep the black pair for fear the construction of the sole of the shoes may be defective.
