This is my second pair of these boots, the first lasted 5 years. I love the heavy duty sole and the cool look. Regular cowboy boots do not hold up like these harness boots!

I got the 8" harness R in redwood. I love them, but they are narrow. I have other Frye's that fit better out of the box. However, I'm sure these will break in over time. I have no doubt I'll still wear them 15 years from now. But today I can't wear these harness boots if I have a lot of walking, the rubbing against my little toes make them blister. But man are these gorgeous! They are thick and rich and smell and sound delicious! I feel like a million bucks when I strut around the office. I can't help it, these boots make me strut. (If I understood the difference between R and W, I'd tell you)

I cannot even get my foot into the boot. I've work the tall Frye harness boots no problem, but I can't even get my ankle into the shaft of the boot. I'll be returning tomorrow.
