They're Frye's, what more is there to say? I went through my teen years suffering from Frye envy. I didn't have the money for them then and all the girls had them. I waited 25 years to finally get some. I am a feminine type. All my other boots are high heeled and dressier. I used to weigh almost 300 pounds and used to envy the thin women that would look good in these. Now I weigh 130 and I look good in them. The quality is superb and though they won't be my everyday boots, they look very nice with skinny jeans and they have that unique look that only Frye boots have. I've worn them once so far and was very comfortable in them. I guess I finally grew up at 47 and am ready to try things that I never thought were "my style".

Dear Zappos, I found dealing with your company to be very satisfactory. I will keep a close watch on there inventory when I need an item.These boots are very heavy for someone with a bad back. I will have a very hard time wearing them, but I love the style. Thanks and goodbye.

Perfect boots - These are amazing boots. I bought them in my usual size, 8.5, not sure if they'd be wide enough -- in the past Fryes have felt a little snug. Not these! Maybe it's the leather, which is very soft and flexible, or the last -- I don't know, but they felt perfect from the second I put them on. They then spent four days stomping through airports, restaurants, campuses, and not one iota of discomfort. Plus the shorter length is really versatile: works with everything. The brown is rich and dark. The heel is high enough, but not too high. Perfect boots.

Wow. I must have gargantuan feet or something. I wear an 8.5 and can wear normal to wide width. I ordered the Harness 8R in my size, bracing myself from the seemingly inevitable "these boots run big" heartache, based on what I read in the comments. Imagine the ensuing heartache when the boots came. I couldn't even get my foot into these boots. Had to return them. Contemplating trying them in a 9, but I am worried they might stretch too much. Anyone out there with a similar experience?

This is my second pair. However, the taller shaft felt so much better on my foot.

I was looking for a motorcycle style boot and found this. I had good memories of Frye's boot quality from my college days, and this boot did not disappoint. It is very well constructed of quality leather and surprisingly comfortable.

Super comfy, classic styling, high quality, and it took no time to break 'em in; I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my first pair of Fryes, I know I'll love them forever!

These boots fit great! I wear 7.5 and bought 7. The toe is roomier than Campus, although you wouldn't think so by looking at the pictures.

I love these shorter harness boots, I have the 15" also. They are wide enough for my very wide feet; I ordered my regular size. If you don't have wide feet, I can see why you would order size down. I also loved the brown color. Good quality worth the price. The year I getting another pair, 12" black or plum.

Outstanding boots! I decided to "splurge" and buy these boots for my own Christmas present and I am so glad I did! They are extremely well crafted and very stylish. I have a feeling they will last me for some time. I had to break them in, but it only took a bit of walking before they started to feel "right". I couldn't say enough good things about them. I get lots of compliments when I wear them as well.

These are perfect. They do run big. I am normally an 8, and I ordered a 7.5. They fit perfect. Love them. They are perfect with jeans. I tried to get a cheaper brand, and returned them for these. I got them 1 day after ordering them. The quality is worth the price.

Love these! These are the perfect "everyday" boot. They aren't too tall for normal sized socks. You can just pull them on and go. Look fabulous under jeans. They are comfortable and look hot!

Great boots! I love these boots and they are a little hard to get on. I have to use a shoe horn, long one. I am getting them broken in though and I love these boots.

I love these boots! These boots were perfectly comfortable from the moment I tried them on. My only observation was that the right foot was a bit tighter than the left, but they've stretched with wear to be even. No blisters, no slippage - great boots!

I went with the advice of others and got a half size smaller. Is it just me, or have Fryes gotten bigger? I had to stretch 'em a little to get them on, but once I did this they were perfect. The color "blazer brown" is not depicted accurately online. It's more of what Frye would call a chestnut brown, in reality (a reddish warm toned brown). I was a little disappointed about the color, but I still love them!

These are way too narrow, but it's a beautiful shoe with decent cushioning.

I bought these in July and by October they were coming apart. I had only worn them half a dozen times. When I contacted Frye they said they\'d fix them but I would have to pay for shipping. I guess they don\'t make boots like they used to!

I had foot surgery a few years ago, and have had problems with shoes being comfortable. These boots are amazing and the the best purchase of foot ware I ever made. They are a much more than I would normally spend but so worth it. The quality and being made in USA was the icing on the cake.

I love these boots. I'm really hard on shoes, and I wear these a lot and they are staying in great shape, especially in the toe box where I usually beat up shoes and boots first.

Great boot. When I first tried them on they were a little tight across my toes. After wearing them just a few times they felt great. They are a bit still, I put a small orthotic in them to give a little cushioning. They are well made and beautiful!

My only regret about buying these boots is that I didn't buy them sooner! I just got a pair of these yesterday, and wore them to a festival today that involved lots of walking and standing. It was a leap of faith wearing them for the first time to an event like that, but my feet were very happy! The support they offer is awesome, and of course they are very cool looking. I was feeling a little guilty about spending the money, but I can see I will get a lot of wear out of these! I just met a guy who says he bought his in 1977 and still wears them. A great indulgence, I mean investment! I also have to mention that I have a wide foot and a high arch, which sometimes creates fit problems. No problem with these though! They felt slightly snug at first but I experienced no pain.

I have been waiting for two years to buy these boots. I finally did it and am thrilled! They complete my wardrobe and are so comfortable. It took 3 shipments from Zappos to get a pair that matched in terms of leather grain and color, but they were wonderful with returns and getting the boots out the next day. They are my go to pair of boots - they go with everything and are super comfortable. I am a 9 to a 9.5 and ordered the 9 and they are just roomy enough to wear warm socks.Gorgeous gorgeous boots. Hooray!
