Timberland use to be a lot better made. The soles of both boots show very little wear, but totally separated from the shoe.
Boots are very comfortable and I loved them before the broke.
I had to have a shoemaker repair them.
I don't mind paying the price, but when I buy Timberland Pro I expect more.
Timberland- please do better.
I would "cautiously" recommend to a friend............?

I'm on my second pair. Both pairs soles cracked right around 5 months. The soles also began coming away from the toe and heel. The first pair i shoe gooed, and squeezed a year out of. Now this pair is doing the same thing, time to try a different bout. It's a shame I liked these boots.

These are great boots to do chores around your house is fine. To actually wear them for work, you will need a new pair every 6 months.

I had a pair of timberland boots. It's a size 10w and runs comfortably. Then I bought a timberland pro for work use. I ordered size 10w as well. But it turns out to be tight in toes, I haven't wore these yet. But I'm quite disappointed right now. I ordered from New Zealand and I don't think I'm gonna return them. Hopefully, after breaking-in these gonna soften a little bit.

These boots were comfortable only for the first couple months. They wore out very quickly. I even bought the better insoles. They were not waterproof as I expected. I would not buy these especially with the steel toe that hurts my toes.

WHEN I RECEIVED THE BOOTS THE LEFT ONE HAD POOR CONSTRUCTION AS THE SHOE STRINGS ARE AT AN ANGLE BETWEEN LOOPS BECAUSE THE LEFT PIECE OF LEATHER WAS SEWED WRONG.

Didn't last me 6 months. Waterproof seal didn't last 4 months, and left boot sole cracked straight threw to the sole of my foot. Wish these last longer but I wont be buying another pair.

I've been a Timberland fan/customer for 30 years. However, very disappointed with this boot. After 3 months of use, the sole and upper separated at inner in-step on both boots. Unacceptable, especially given price for boots. Sent back and replacement pair looked as is they were used/refurbished - looked like crap. Unacceptable. Sent back again. This replacement pair only 4 weeks old. We shall see. A clear mis-step here by Timberland.

Fit: I am normally a size 11 in everything but I had to reorder another pair in size 10 to make it fit right. The width feels good
Comfort: Being that this is a work boot, the insoles could be improved. They're not terrible but they're not great either. Just average. The curve in the sole from the ball to the toe is a real nuisance. It makes my toes perpetually pointed up and strains them and hurts my arch over the course of the day. They need to flatten that out a bit. The soles are very heavy. They need to lighten it up. People who wear these for work are most likely on their feet for most of their day and having to lift heavy boots really wears you out. On a more positive note, they are warm.
Durability: I am disappointed that the soles are glued to the upper. Because of this, the two parts have begun to separate where my foot bends after just a year of wear. I imagine this will at some point compromise the waterproof feature and worse, just come apart completely. As far as the rest of the boot is concerned, they're pretty durable. With the sole at 1" thick and the quadruple and triple stitching on the upper seams, they better not rip or fall apart

With the Timberland Brand name, I expected a a boot that was comfortable & looked forward to getting receiving them. These lasted just 6 months & I am VERY disappointed. They are not for someone who is one their feet all day, not comfortable at all & heavy. My red wings were lighter than these & they were a 8" boot that lasted 2 1/2 years!.
Definitely the last pair I ever buy.

This boot is a total disappointment. I'm a doorman at a hotel in downtown Chicago. I need reliable footwear as I deal with the elements year-round and am always on my feet. I read review after review of these boots until finally picking them. First off, the waterproofing of the boot lasted all of a week and a half. It was a very wet winter, so that was really awesome. Second, no matter what socks or sock combination I tried, my toes froze to numbing, even when it was "only" 25 degrees. Chicago had a horrific winter recently. It was in the single digits most of the way through and when it did finally climb up in temperature, it was very windy. These boots failed miserably. Since I dropped so much on them, I have a family to support, and tipping seems to be a thing of the past, I was stuck with them. They sure are toasty in 35 degrees and up, though. The "anti-fatigue" insoles are a joke. After a while, it felt like I was walking on plywood. I had to replace the insoles. When I add the fact that I had to back and forth with different sizes until I finally settled on one (thank you Zappos for being the amazing customer-oriented company that you are), I can easily say that Timberland sold themselves their first and last piece of anything to this consumer. Spend your hard-earned dollars on something else. I really wish I had.

If you want waterproof and warm feet at work in the winter time, don't waste your money on these. These boots are waterproof for about 3 days, then the sealer splits open and pulls away from the leather where it meets the sole. Wet and cold feet as soon as you step in water there after. These were great boots years ago, but the quality has gone downhill.

Very disappointed and unsatisfied purchase. I bought it from Mongolia as a birthday gift for my husband. But insole at the front kept his feet wet for all day in the cold weather.

These boots claim they are water proof but they in fact are not. I’ve only had these boots for about two weeks and anytime they get wet my socks get wet as well. The “sealed seams” aren’t as sealed as they should I suspect I got a defective pair

Zappos, sent me the correct size, width, model of boot, etc. But sent me the wrong color. I was sent the Marigold color instead of the Wheat. I will be sending these back. I ordered these late for a birthday and since I was sent the wrong color, I will have to get the correct color elsewhere, hopefully locally.

I work 8-9 hour days at a grocery store and these boots began breaking down from the inside almost immediately. Bought in February and already have to replace. Kind of wasteful.
