I work for UPS as a delivery driver so I definitely put my work boots through the paces. I've been on the hunt for some great work boots at a decent price. Found them! These boots are a great buy!

My husband delivers packages in all weather and is on his feet all day. I have bought him almost every brand of winter boot made and he said "these are the best boots he has ever owned." Waterproof to perfection, very lightweight for easy walking, extremely comfortable with no break in period. Excellent product!

I do a lot of walking in my job and after enduring the pain of wearing the least expensive boots I could find, I purchased a pair of these shoes and it has been worth every penny I spent of them. They are durable and comfortable. They do hurt my feet a little if I am up on them for long extended period of time, but that is normal, I think, for any shoe when you walk around on steel and concrete for an entire shift like I do. Overall, though, I'm very pleased.

I worked a lot of hours indoor and out over the winter of 09/10 and these boots just weren't up to the challenge. Waterproofness only lasted a few months. Then, the sole on my right boot pretty much disintegrated and water was able to come in through there. The insoles also came apart within a matter of months. The quality of leather is poor to moderate and gets all sorts of wrinkles and scuff marks. Definitely not worth price. If you're looking for a tough, durable work boot look elsewhere.

My son is a first year college student in upstate NY and needed a good pair of boots to help him weather the cold climate and still be comfortable. He likes his new Timberlands he received from Zappos and was extremely surprised when his package arrived the next day. He's enjoying his new kicks and so do his friends. Thank you Zappos!

Bought as a gift for a "picky" person. Knew they wouldn't wear a "snow" boot, but needed something at least warm. These work as a shoe while being warmer than shoes. The "picky" recipient wore them right away, that makes them 5 star boots.

Bought these as a Christmas gift. My brother said they fit perfect, comfortable immediately, wears them 8 hours with no issues.

I'm a solid size 9, I never have to go smaller or larger, but with these boots, I had to drop down to an 8.5. Perhaps Timberland assumed that people wearing these boots would wear lots of thick socks. Zappos was brilliant with this, though, overnighting the smaller size boots to me. The boots themselves are very comfortable, and I need that every single day I go in the office and sit in front of the computer. They've made a great first impression on me with the apparent quality of construction and the features such as insulation, comfort, and waterproofness (is that a word?). I hope Zappos will ask me to write a review of these boots in a year, as I consider the long term life of footwear a very important consideration.

Solid shoe for sure. Good quality. Will take some breaking in. Can't imagine I'll ever wear out the ample tred.

I am handicapped and needed these specific type shoes for corrective support. I gave Zappos the # of the old Timberland shoes and description. In 2 days they found replacements that fit perfectly. The staff of Zappos was extremely helpful & prompt.

Overall great boots, not great ankle support. I ordered these boots recently and had to return them because the ankle support wasn't good enough for me, I have a very bad ankle. The shaft of these boots is soft-sided, and unlike say a hiking boot, it doesn't rise more in areas where you need a little more security, like on the sides. I think the support would be PLENTY for the average person, but if you need extra support due to an injury (or particularly madcap lifestyle), I'd look to another boot. I ended up with the Iowa Renegade GTX. Additionally, I have wide forefeet and so I went with the widest boot. This boot seems to be widened straight, so the heel is also much wider than a regular boot. This may be good or bad for you, in my case, it contributed to the feeling of the lack of ankle support. On the other hand, my goodness, these were great boots. Particularly for winter, so so warm, with thick, thick soles, and as we all know, insulation against the ground is the most important. The soles are so thick that these boots felt like they added 2" to my height, I was surveying the land like a king! Huzzah. They were classy and plain in appearance, and looked very easy to keep up. The sole was extremely grippy. The footbed was incredibly padded and comfortable. I would say there was more cushion than actual support, that may be a consideration if you have arch or other foot issues.

Very comfortable boots - As always the service from Zappos is excellent! This boots run a little bigger than marked but it is not a big deal, they do not need to be broken out to wear them.

Great for work!! Good structure. Comfortable. Could use a little more support.

Timberland Boots and Zappos Service - The 8 1/2 boot had a little bit more room inside then desired, but still felt good and I kept it. The 8 was a bit small which I had to return. The shipment was quick and the return policy that I utilized is an excellent. I did not like having to return, since it waste your money and time, but this case I had to. I might order the 8 1/2 boot in brown in the near future. Excellent service. Thanks.

TImberland Pro boots - Have been wearing these boots for 2 years and still have much life left. Just polish and they will continue to look like new. A bit stiff, but fits orthotics well and the rigidity helps keep the foot from flexing if you experience foot pain. Wear every day in a foundry, so it gets some pretty heavy use. Extra thick sole.

Rating the Timberland PRO Soft Toe - I purchased this shoe for my son. He was overjoyed at the comfortable fit, and the well structured style. The leather is not too soft and definitely not too tight -- it's perfect. This shoe will definitely suit the purpose for which it was purchased, and last for years to come.

Timberland PRO's Direct Attach 6" Soft Toe - I bought these boots for my teen daughter. We couldn't be happier with the product. As a matter of fact, it all started with an earlier delivery than expected. The boots were in excellent condition right out of the box. She wore them the same day with only compliments from others and she spoke of the comfort. We will without a doubt, buy from Zappos.com again in the future.

Timberland - I have bought these workboots for my boyfriend before. They are the ones that he prefers. Not too high and not too low and no steel toes.

Timberland pro boots - AWESOME!! My husband can only wear wide width shoes/boots and we can depend on tims to be true to size and oh so comfortable!
