Ball of shoe has no support -
The shoes are somewhat comfortable, but the sole beneath the ball of the foot was so thin, I felt like I was walking barefoot. Not recommended.

Great shoe until it stretches out -
This is a great shoe - very comfortable, good fit and looks really good for a semi-orthotic shoe. However, I purchased three pairs last summer and found the same problem with each - the straps stretched out to the point where the shoe rubbed my little toes. Other than that I would buy many more pairs of this shoe.

Not so comfy -
Having already owned 1 pair of Mephisto sandals, I expected these to be every bit as comfortable. The leather straps on these are very thin, scratchy on the edges, and stiff. I couldn't even keep them on for 5 minutes before deciding to return them. The footbed felt fabulous and supportive, but the straps made them extremely uncomfortable for me.

Run full size smaller and feet slide forward!
Yes they do look cute; however, they don't cushion the feet as well as the "Fedosia" model, and even though they run small, the straps loosen up too much after use. After wearing them fairly frequently, the straps expanded enough to allow my feet to slide forward and sideways. I paid full price on these and I only wear them to walk the dog!

ULARIA is NOT for Narrow widths!!!
Plagued with plantar facia, I have been wearing Mephisto for years, however, a salesman TALKED me into these and I loved the style. Because of my narrow foot, he installed an insert that was to take care of it. They would not stay attached and I would scrunch my toes (right foot) to keep them on, which apparently caused permanent damage to the footbed area. Several trips to both the podiatrist and orthopedic, it's what it is. For narrow widths, unless straps are adjustable, do not recommend! Except for the Helen, which I have in several colors, the styles that worked for me are no longer available.
I'd also recommend:
Due to foot issues, Mephisto and athletic (with orthotics) only.

Too wide -
I have a narrow foot and found this shoe to be too wide for me.
