The best - By far the best shoe I have ever worn for spring summer. I have rhumatiod arthritis in both feet and I could not believe how much longer I was able to last with them on I put them on right when I get up and immediately felt relief from the hard floor.

Mephisto's - These are awesome shoes. I have tendon and spur problems which make it hard to find a comfortable walking shoe. These were perfect.

Very comfortable, only 1 concern - Very comfortable, fit perfectly. After a few hours walking with this shoe, my feet felt fine. One concern: the leather straps might stretch over time. I definitely felt some "give" in the straps, the longer I wore the shoes. But they are so comfortable that I can forgive this minor issue. Also, I don't think that the straps will stretch so much that the fit will be negatively impacted.

Most comfortable ever! I have several different Mephisto sandals all are unbelievably comfortable, this style however, is amazing. The instant you slip your foot into this sandal, you say "where have you been all my life" It is the most luxurious feel ever.

Great shoe for bad feet - I have never had a pair of shoes that are dressy that have really been comfortable, until these. They are very comfortable, very supportive, and fairly dressy. This was a great buy for me.

Wonderful sandals - Wonderful cute sandals, good for walking your way through Manhattan. Perfect arch support, I would buy them again both for looks and comfort. Not overly elegant of course, but they can work very well for a night out--especially if you have delicate knees (like I do) and need something both comfortable and a little more stylish than the usual.

A Wider Mephisto is "Just Right"! Yeah! I finally found a Mephisto that is wide enough. I love the ergonomic footbed and arch support Mephisto incorporates in their sandals. I have several pairs of the Elka sandal but stopped wearing them because they were simply too narrow for my slightly wider foot. Hopefully the their designers will come up with more styles with this wider design.

This shoe is so comfortable and attractive that after wearing the black pair for a couple of days, I bought the same shoes in tan! The shoes look great with anything; I have received dozens of compliments on both pairs.

This is my second pair of this style Mephisto. I previously owned the black and just received the pearlized white. But be careful, you might find yourself putting this shoe on everyday.

A Winner - The Mephisto Mobil line is wider in the toe than the standard Mephisto line. The wider toe, and the elastic gusset on the instep strap, give a near perfect fit. The heel is a comfortable height, with excellent arch support (I have a high arch so this is critical). The height is slightly higher than the "Finn Comfort" wedge, but equally as comfortable to wear. Neither strap is adjustable, which might be a problem for those with very narrow feet. Overall, I am pleased with the Ularia, and expect to purchase another pair in a different color.

I bought this shoe 4 years ago and from the first time I put them on, I knew I loved them. The sizes are in European sizing without wide sizes, which was a bummer. However, I normally wear a size 10 wide so I bought a size 12 in the European sizing. That worked for the last 4 years. I absolutely love the look and the fit. Last year I bought another pair off the internet; a size 12 again. I couldn't get these shoes to feel comfortable. I had them stretched at the shoe maker but that didn't work. I will try stretching them again this summer. I paid way too much for the shoes to sit in my closet. Perhaps the lesson to take away from this is that the European sizing should include wide now.

These are super comfortable and stylish, with the sparkle on the fabric. Only complaint is they are a bit loose -- it feels like they would fall off if I didn't make an effort to keep them on.

Great walking sandal - I walk a great deal on a daily basis and wanted a comfortable sandal that I could walk in and one that would also look okay in my office. I wear skirts only in the summer and these sandals fit the bill perfectly. I have a somewhat wide foot and have worn these every day. I bought them in two other colors - taupe and pewter. Expensive, but walking 5 miles, at least, a day, these have been worth it.

Comfort in a heel - I bought this sandal for comfort, for those occasions when my pants are a little longer than usual, and they deliver. They are a bit wider than some others in this brand, and are very cushioned. There is ample room if you have a high arch, so I don't think this would work if you have low arches. They stay on well for walking around, and this is from someone who considers this sandal to be high-heeled. Most of my shoes and sandals are very flat, but this sandal works for me in spite of the heel.

Comfort - I found the Ularia very comfortable.

Pretty, but not good for bad feet - I love Mephisto’s and wear Heidi's every day (great support). Wanted this sandal because it's so pretty. My daughter wears these with no problem at all and she has them in several colors. I bought the black and the Taupe Reptile, gorgeous!! However, I wore them to run errands, and after 30 minutes had to return home to change shoes. I have foot problems including plantar fasciitis and high arches, and these just killed my feet trying to walk in them. :((( They also run a little bit wide so it was difficult keeping them on.

They run small - I bought these shoes even though they are a tad too small. I wear size 12 and always have trouble finding any shoes in my size. I kept them since they do not come in a larger size. European sizing is a little different from American. These shoes are very comfortable but I would not consider walking long distances, the straps seem a little loose. When walking up-hill, my foot will slip out. On flat surface they work fine.

Predictable Comfort - I purchased these shoes to wear with summer suits, etc. for those times I need to look like a grown up. Needed a shoe with a little bit of a heel that I knew would be neutral enough to go with lots of things and that would be COMFORTABLE. This shoe fits the "bill." Though I am not crazy about the faux skin leather or the color, they will, I know, be a pair of sandals that I reach for several summers. Sometimes you need just a basic pair of shoes and that is what these are. I do think that one of the brighter colors (pink or red) might be more fun, but again, sometimes we have to be grown up (I purchased the beige ones.) Service is, as usual, OUTSTANDING. The only way to purchase shoes--Zappos.

Dressy enough, comfy enough. I needed a dressy shoe for my son's bar mitzvah. This fit the bill nicely. The glossy navy reptile-look leather straps give it a fancy look, but it is much more comfortable than other fancy sandals I tried. This style of Mephisto has a cork insole, but is not as comfortable as styles that have thicker cork soles (e.g. Hannel). Still, it was a good compromise. I have work in to work since.

Comfortable from the first step - Since my foot is large, I look for shoes that make the foot look shorter. Often difficult to find both style and comfort. This style does just that. My only complaint was the color. It was listed as white, and was a yellow-tan. Am definitely a candidate for a second pair of this style when it is offered in a true white. Even better would be white with white sole.

Walking on air... This shoe felt like a dream. I've got very hard-to-fit meet and I hate heels, but I had no problems with this shoe, at least while trying it on. Unfortunately, I was looking for something that looked dressier; I wasn't crazy about the look of the straps on this shoe.

Disappointed. Sloppy fit. As long as you walk straight ahead you should be fine. Don't back up! Unfortunately I already wore these outside before I discovered that I may hurt myself. Try these shoes at home under a variety of circumstances before you commit yourself.

Couldn't get the right size - I started with my usual size 35 and although my upper foot was in the right space my heel hung off the back. I then tried a 36, same problem. I went up to a 37 and even though my heel was now on the shoe bed the rest of my foot was not in alignment with the sole. I am really disappointed as this shoe was very comfortable.
