Yes, they are green. Don't forget that. They're pretty comfy too. Arch support is nice and the cushioning makes these very comfortable for long walks -- whether it's an urban walk through town or a two-day hike in the woods. Definitely get some non-silicone waterproofing spray and you have some fairly rugged but stylish boots. They're not as high quality looking as you might expect, but they far exceed the value of what you pay for them!

First off, I've bought from Zappos before; all I can say is: I love this Company! Next, I just got my very first pair of Palladium Pampa Hi. It looks like a shoe/sneaker; it's what I wanted. The delivery arrived in one day! Yowza! Just tried them on quickly to have a look/see and they seem perfect! Size 9'ers are right on the mark. The shoe is exactly as described regarding fit and (initial) comfort. Make sure you guys read the reviews on any shoe you buy because that's where you'll find the accurate, "right on the mark" information that you're going to want and need. I mean, the shoe description said a grey color but the reviewers said... Nah... it's more like a green/grey. As expected, they were right, so, no surprises there! Like I said, I've only just tried them on so I can't say right now what they'll be like after wearing them all day. But, I can say this... I am a pain in the butt when it comes to buying shoes. Comfort is important as well as style. My gut tells me these are gonna be winners! Thanks Zappos! In the words of Arnold... "I'll be back!"

I mostly wear these for trekking through the city in a light snow. They're comfortable and they look good with slim attire -- not too clunky. Overall, great value for the price.

I got these boots in the stonewashed metal which is closer to a light olive green color. I assume the army green which is what I was originally gonna order is more of a real green color. I really love the color of the stonewashed metal though, they go great with jeans or khakis or anything really. I wanted a real light weight boot that was breathable, comfortable, and durable. I must say these have satisfied all my criteria so far. They fit me perfect, I wear a size 11 and ordered an 11. The boots are comfortable out of the box and have a very aggressive tread. One caveat to anybody looking to purchase is I recommend these boots for light duty and casual wear. In other words probably not good for heavy hiking or work wear. They are canvas after all and have minimal side support due to this aspect. The treads are very soft rubber so I think they may wear quickly if used on a daily basis (reason I gave an overall 4 stars). If you're fine with that being said go ahead and get them. The look and feel of these boots is amazing and they have kind of a "tactical" look and feel without the weight and look of a full on military boot. I also waterproofed mine right out of the box with some off the shelf waterproof spray in case I get caught in the rain with these. These are a great travel and kick around boot. Overall I'd highly recommend you get them if this is what you're looking for.
I'd also recommend:

Usually I rock Converse Monochrome Black kicks for semi-formal outfits and when I need a light, flexible black shoe and don't want to lug around leather. This really fits the bill and is slightly more refined than Converse, with more protection. The canvas upper is tough and abrasion resistant, and the rubber toe box protects and gives the shoe a tough urban look. Like I said, very light, and easy to dance in (or run). I will say that they are quite narrow (and I have a very narrow foot), and if you normally wear medium weight socks I would advise going a size up. In leather Palladiums I have tried on, I had to size up (Normally 12, had to get 13). Since the canvas is more flexible my normal size worked out. And when you need to gussy them up, just slap a little bit of Kwik-Shine on the rubber. All in all a great shoe for the money.

Good product at good price. They come with a flat, unimpressive insole, but it's removable! Which is great for me, because then I can put in my own, better insoles. Tread is impressive. Boots are comfortable. I have had them only two days and already received several compliments. I have worn Doc Marten's for many years and bought these to have something more breathable, flexible, and lighter. Recommended.

these are OK. nothing fancy, they are like Converse with more tread. Not much for shock absorption, but I figured as much for a low cost basic canvas shoe. I still like them, but would not use them for hiking or long walks.

I'm not sure if these are supposed to be unisex or not--I ordered a 11M in women's and received an 11M in men's. WAY TOO BIG. Like clown shoe big. The plastic on the toe looks cheap and there wasn't much going on support wise so I'm returning instead of exchanging.

Very narrow for a man's shoe and only medium widths are offered. Went up a half size and still to narrow and also tight across the top of the instep. Made in China.

Tried them on and returned them. The shoes look great, but I have flat feet and could immediately tell I wouldn't have the necessary support, even with orthotic inserts. The boots look great and I think would wear well too, but they don't have any structure in the sole - like a pair of Keds.

I've owned three pairs of these shoes (Pamp Hi in Gun Metal and Black, Baggy in Gun Metal) since 2011. They're very comfortable and stylish. The problem is they keep developing holes in the canvas by my pinkies after around 1-1.5 year. I'm still not sure whether they can be beat on the style/comfort/price point, despite lack of long term durability.

This not a very comfortable shoe, IMO. The arch has some weird things going on, and the seams on the inside are rough and hit right below the big toe joint where the arch starts. Feels very scratchy. Would maybe work if I wore super thick socks. But I'm returning. Also WAY narrow. Feels like Blisters waiting to happen.

I have just bought these boots and the day I received them, they felt snug and fit completely well. But by the next day my feet started to ache. And the boots felt like they ran large too soon. I guess I should have ordered a size 7 instead of a 7.5 (I wear size 7 Converse Chuck Taylor and 8 for Nike). The packaging and the style of the boots are awesome, though. Really looks like Chucks for boots.

I bought these shoes because I had read how durable they were. I had a pair of shoes that lasted seven years and the next pair fell apart after seven weeks so I was looking for something tough. I've had these for less than a year and they're falling apart already. They actually started fraying after a couple of months but now they are coming apart. They aren't particularly durable, in my opinion. They also hold dirt and mud in the fibers making them hard to clean. The worst problem, though, is the soles. Whomever designed them clearly has never walked on gravel. I get pebbles stuck in them constantly. I don't recommend them.

Extremely uncomfortable for wide feet. Arch support dug in, felt more like a spade than a support. Tough to get into and out of via the high, narrow ankle. Too bad, I really like the look of these, but I will not be rocking the Palladium look.

If you have narrow feet these are great. I usually wear an E width so I got a 1/2 size larger in the D width. When I put them on it felt like my feet were in a vise. These are very narrow for those of us with fat, flat feet. The D was closer to a C and there was very little give. I sent them back the next day.

Love the style, but these are poorly made/designed shoes. The back of the shoe has a rigid crease that made the back of my ankles bleed after a short walk. And I was wearing thick socks! The insoles are a joke, made of cheap cardboard. Not sure how the Foreign Legion marched in these all day, lol.

I am very upset with this order! In the picture this boot looks more white but when I took them out of the box they are more of a grey darker color. Don't go by the picture they are very misleading. This is false advertisement and I want white boots. Not happy!
