I have only owned these boots for a few days and can't comment on their long term durability, but so far they appear to be built well. The stonewashed metal color appears to be halfway between gray and green, not a true gray. I actually like this color better than the pictures' gray. I had read reviews that mentioned that the liner rips, but my boots don't have any liner at all, which is great because the boot will be cooler and I won't encounter a ripped liner. The boot runs somewhat narrow and has good arch support, which is great for me but bad for people with wide feet. For comparison shopping, I wear an 11.5 in this boot and a 12 or 13 in Adidas tennis shoes, and 11.5 and 12 in Danner boots. I can't give the boot 5 stars because I haven't evaluated them long enough.

Comfortable and sturdy. I've worn them regularly for 2 years now and they still look barely worn in. This is a stark contrast to most canvas shoes. Another advantage over other brands (especially Converse), is the toe box is roomy enough for me. Converse are just too narrow for me and always pinch.

Felt very light when I held them, making me feel like they were cheap but seem well made. HUGE NOTE--These are HORRENDOUS on any hard, smooth surface that has any minute amount of moisture. Great outdoors. Great Bang for the buck and I even got a couple compliments on the style worn with urban wear and even work uniform. Versatile shoe.

1st of all, Zappos is the best place to buy shoes...price, customer service, return policy, etc. The Palladium is a cool kick around boot and well made. They come in various colors. I would consider buying another pair.

This is a very nice boot for the money, but the 8.5 was too big for my son, and a 8 wasn't available. Doing business with Zappos was great, as usual.

Excellent, well-made and comfortable! A very lightweight boot. I love wearing them every day. Boot-tough, yet like wearing sneakers. Great price and a great shoe!

These are well constructed boots. I have been more than satisfied with them. I have bought several items from Zappos and am always impressed with the fast shipping...several times received within 24 hours or placing order. Everything I have ordered from shoes to watches has been quality products.

I just love these boots. They look very nice, they are very comfortable, and they are affordable.

For those who don't know (or are too young to remember) these boots are the fun and casual imitation (or loving copy) of the old Israeli Paratrooper Boot you could get at military surplus stores. They're not as heavy though and definitely more comfortable and the sole is more flexible. The fit is good even if you wear them with thick boot socks. The color I chose is "Woodlin" which is a nice dark tan/coyote brown color that goes great with cargo pants or jeans. I like them so much I'm getting another pair in a different color!

The soles are sturdy but the glue came apart after some time. Not suitable for warm climate.

I found these pups on sale. Read all the reviews and then decided to go for it. Wow! Can't be more pleased. They are cute, true to size in length; however, in the width they are a little on the wide side. But I do have narrow feet. I just will wear thicker socks. Excellent support! That's what sold me, and the style is very cute.

I got the stonewash metal in size 9.5 (my normal size). The color turned out being a little olive, which I was expecting because I read a review that stated the color was not exactly what is depicted on the site. But I actually like the color and the shoe is comfortable and light. I only wore the shoe for one day before returning it though, because it was too big. It was about 1 full size bigger. My toes barely reached the tip of the rubber tip visible from the top of the boot, and all my other size 9.5 shoes fit snug. I also found the canvas to be just okay, it wasn't as strong as I was hoping for. And in case anybody is wondering, it is not waterproof.

I really like these however, last time i ordered them the rubber toe started separating form the canvas after 2 days of wear. I'm going to order another pair and see if theres any difference

Absolutely love!!! I’m just sad it took me so long to finally buy a pair. They are sized/fit like my chucks. And like my chucks, I’ll be buying many more!!

Ever since i bought my first pair, 2 years back, it’s been love at first sight. These boots are lightweight but durable. I’ve worn them for everyday use, to concerts, theme parks and took them for hiking in the mountains and the woods. You can break them in easily. i highly recommend them to anyone who has suffered from heel spurs and messed up knees, these boots’ insoles have the right cushion and absorption. With that said, if you need to replace the insoles for whatever reason (orthopedic, etc.) , the boots insoles are removable as well.

Bought a black canvas and a brown leather pair previously. Both lasted about two years. I was so happy with them I bought this pair as well. I typically wear them in a business casual setting for work. But my old pair are now my yard work boots. Would strongly recommend.

This boot is light enough that I wear it as a sneaker, but it seems well-made, sturdy, and durable (though I've only been wearing it for a month or two). I was hoping to find a leather-free, lightweight shoe made in North America or Europe (because of the better labor laws). This item meets the first two criteria, but is unfortunately made in China. That's very hard to avoid anymore, but the manufacturer assured me the factory is certified to have safe, humane working conditions, for what it's worth. Being unable to check it myself, I guess that's the best I can do.

Awesome shoe very comfortable and stylish. These boots look great with a pair of jeans on! Zappos sent them ridiculously fast!

These are very comfortable boots. They don't feel like boots at all which is the good part. I can walk on these all day and my feet won't feel exhausted. I will definitely recommend for anyone!

I really like these boots. The sole is solid rubber and not cushiony, but that doesn't bother me. They're a little stiff around the ankle, but will probably soften with time and wear. I wear a women's 9.5 and the 8 in these fits well.

They look great, but could be more comfortable. Good durability for shoes of this type and price range. I should wear a 7 Wide (EE) but Palladium doesn't make Wide sizes. The 7.5 M is narrower than 7.5 M from Rockport. Early on, the cuff dug into my calves and caused swelling. I sewed extra padding around the cuff and have not had a problem since. There is a diamond hole in the tread pattern that frequently gets pebbles stuck in it. I have worn them for three years of daily light-medium wear and some heavy use during travel. There is a hole developing on the left shoe at the back of the ankle, and the canvas is faded in places. The soles have worn down a bit but still have good traction. They are still well-attached, no cracks.

I was terribly disappointed to discover that these shoes are not any variation of grey or stone, but a faded GREEN color. I just bought a pair of green shoes. ??
