I bought these for my boyfriend for his Birthday. We actually stopped a man in a parking lot to find out where he got them, he pointed us to Zappos! He LOVES them. They are so light, but durable. He was very pleased.

Good shoe/boot. Size fit well - matched what I think my shoe size is. I like a wide shoe and this is acceptable to me (could be wider - but really it's fine). Shoe is not lined so it's not super warm/insulated and not waterproof (I'm going to try a layer of bees wax on the outside but than will lose some "breath-ability"). I wish the tread was a little deeper on the front part of the sole - I know I'm going to wear it out sooner than I'd like. The back/heal is a very deep tread. Overall great shoe/boot and I'd probably buy again if these hold up (which I expect they will - seems to be well made).

Amazing boots! Palladium are so comfortable and wear really well. These are my 3rd pair and love them.

These shoes are great. I love the converse style of shoe but hated how that type of shoe had no support or grip on the sole. These have a good sole with grip and are really comfortable to wear.

Very nice shoes! They are a little stiff when you get them, but they do break in fairly quickly. I have received numerous comments about how sharp they look. I I like them enough that when my current black dress shoes wear out, I will replace them with a black pair.

I've been wearing these boots around the wet streets of Seattle for a few weeks with no complaints. I wore them with thicker/wool-blend socks for the 30s cold snap too and they were great! Solid construction, great tread, and cool design...will probably be wearing these all winter long. My only beef is the absence of a functional "tab" in the back to help you put/pull them on. If Palladium were to add that, it would be the perfect boot in my book!

This shoes are great. I love the style and the comfort of the canvas. You feet breather and is well protected. My kids loved it so much, that I had to get them a pair as well. Stone washed are on the green side ad not gray as I thought. My kids got them in black and the other on brown Khaki style color. I've been wearing this shoes almost every days since I bought them. They look great with jeans! I bought one size bigger just in case and it was a smart move. I believe they run really exact on size.

A basic boot that fits well and is true to size. Construction is solid. Canvas breathes well, good arch support. Your feet will get wet as there is no waterproofing. Boot drys fast however.

Love these boots. Some may think they are like converse but they are not. They are more durable and rigid than Converse. Sizing... I wear a 10 in Nike and a 9 in Chuck Taylor. For these I needed a 9. If you own Chucks, get the same size as those.

Wow, these boots are amazing! As others have said, "Converse All Star Chuck Taylors for adults." Definitely buying more just in case Palladium stops manufacturing them.

These boots are great, IDF Commandos adopted the exact design, as a reviewer noted, add an extra size to your shoe size, they run small and slim. I looked online for price, this is the cheapest. great shoe.

Great boot for the price. Very slight arch support, recommend getting an insert if you have high arches.

I honestly thought I was buying a tennis shoe (like some chucks or something but with a better grip). What I ended up getting was a very decent hiking boot. The ankle support is great and the sole is grippy and sturdy. They might be hard to get into if you have a wide foot, but there is plenty of room once you're in. I highly recommend buying a waterproofing product because the canvas of these shoes aren't treated and the material will absorb. I applied two coats of waterproof spray and now these shoes can do anything I want. The only downside, if you can call it one, is that the hefty pattern of the soles allows for rocks to get stuck in pretty easily. Most modern boots steer away from this old school pattern for this very reason but, honestly, it's not a huge deal. The only reason it bugs me is because I have a backyard that consists of small rocks and pebbles. You can't go wrong with these shoes for the price. Whether you're looking for casual or outdoors, these shoes should do the trick.

First, THESE BOOTS ARE GREEN/OLIVE. Which is fine, but the color description doesn't lead you to believe that. I thought I was getting a gray pair of shoes. Worn for about a month, seem durable- no glue coming undone and minimal wear on the sole. Very comfortable- minimal break-in time. As long as they hold up for a while I'd definitely buy them again.

Been wearing these for about 4 months now and they are great. Finally a rugged and comfortable to Converse that lasts. I would have worn through a pair of Converse by now. I'm wearing these about 16 hours a day. My terrain has been paved and unpaved roads, unimproved trails, creeks (these are not waterproof but dry fast), climbing trees, riding bikes, and a few ungraceful scrambles over rocks.

Amazing service and products! I bought this pair for my fiance and he has not stopped admiring them since. He uses them for outdoors type activities but since they're so easy to clean he also used them for style. Very light weight. Would recommend.

Comfortable right out of the box, worn five days a week for a month and they feel better every day. Substantial lugs on the soles, no major signs of wear but be aware they will pickup wet sand or dirt and deposit it wherever you tread.

I bought these boots about a month ago, and when they first arrived they were very stiff, and it was hard to have a full range of ankle movement when walking. If you are thinking of buying these, expect about two weeks before they are softened up. After that point, they are fantastic! I work at a hardware store and walk everywhere everyday, and I love these boots. I always intended to wear them everyday, and I do. The construction is very sturdy, and much better than Vans or Converse, so they are worth the higher price. The size seems big at first if you are not used to boots, but I think the fit is in between hiking boots and normal sneakers. I would not be able to fit super thick woolen socks inside, like hiking boots, but too thin socks make my feet rattle around in there a bit. If you need arch support, you will probably want inserts. Style wise, they are very versatile, and I think they add a bit of edge to any outfit, without seeming childish like a pair of Converse.

These shoes are comfortable, and have a cool, retro style. They seem to be sturdily made, after wearing them for a few weeks. This was the first pair of shoes I've ordered online, and I was worried about the size, but I'm usually an 11.5, and that fit me fine.

Excellent work boot; has taken heavier farm use than most canvas footwear can. (I use steel inserts in all my work shoes, so can't comment on arch support.)

Excuse me, but I got these and the Black. Wore the Black for a day and the canvas is so tough it rubbed the skin around the ankles a little raw. So I washed them in the washer with fabric softener...then soaked them in sink with boiled water..."they shrank up!" They feel a little softer and I swear they feel as if they shrank? They seem to be part Dr Martens and half Chuck Taylor? The logo on the ankle is annoying.

Very happy with these shoes. No break in period, super comfortable, quiet. I wear them several hours a day as a sales person in a cell phone store.

I got these shoes to wear around the city on my commute. The first week I wore them on a vacation, and I ended up walking a ton in Las Vegas and also ended up taking a hike in the dessert and exploring some rocky areas. They were very comfortable for all situations considering they are not fancy sneakers. The bottom grips on the soul were decent for the trek in the dessert. I wore them again on a very cold New York City day outside for about four hours and my feet did get cold, but that is understandable since they are canvas. I am definitely going to buy another pair in another color and add to my collection of these boots!

Beautiful, simple shoe. Takes a beating. I'm a US men's 7 for Converse kicks, but an 8 for Palladium.

Really pleased with these boots. As other reviewers have commented, the grey color is a little lighter than pictured (but still fine). I also had to go down a half size. Shopping with Zappos is always easy & painless.
