Great again - I am a total convert now. I have purchased two more pairs and they are all I wear now. Sure my guy friends still poke fun of me, but they feel so good. Plus I have received many nice compliments from others. My wife and I are going on a cruise in a few weeks and we are both just taking two pairs of Dansko clogs each. You can wear them with shorts and no socks by day and then dress them up with slacks at night. I now have two black pairs and and a brown pair and I wear nothing else. Thanks Dankso and Zappos.

Excellent shoes for hospitals - I purchased these shoes because I was tired of getting blood and amniotic fluid on my tennis shoes, even when wearing shoe covers. Blood and other body fluids wipe right off with a damp towel. Also, these shoes are comfortable even on 19-hour days on your feet.

Great - After a few months my wife finally talked me into getting these clogs. I own a small bar and grill and am on my feet all day. After wearing these, I dont come home anymore with hurting feet. Sure some of my guy friends give me grief about wearing cogs, but my feet are thankful and I have received numerious compliments on them. I plan to get another pair soon.

Overall very satisfied - While many of the prior reviews made me think this was going to be plush heaven - which its not - nonetheless this clog is great. The solid and relatively high heel (for men anyways) makes it so that you have to push your weight ever so slightly back to balance yourself. This design allows most of your weight to fall on the largest part of your weight bearing foot (the mid heel) taking pressure off your instep. Even though there is not a great amount of cushion in the shoe my foot definitely felt so much better than my old cushiony but flat clogs. I went ahead and gave 5 stars for comfort (even though think it's really around 4.5) your feet will definitely thank you for it. I have to mention that doing business with zappo's is really unbelievable (coming from a true skeptic!) I ordered the shoe on a Wednesday night at 11p.m. (b/c I was so sick of my old clogs which were hurting my feet) and when I got home the next day 3p.m. they were there waiting - truly unbelievable when I paid for regular S&H.

Simply the best - These are very comfortable and great shoes if you work on your feet for many hours at a time.

Doc feets - Great for medical professionals that are on their feet for many hours. Wish they were available in Dark blue or green.

My 4th pair - I ove these shoes...they feel really comfortable when you're working on your feet for those long days. HOWEVER,...they are NOT made for running in :) I have twisted my ankle 2 times now...and it happened fast, so..otherthan that...they are great!!

Great shoe for people on their feet all day - Well, that's what they're known for and that's what they're good for. The sizing was a little confusing at first and I had to send them back a couple times, but I suggest wearing them around the house to really test them out. They've made a lot of difference in how my feet feel at the end of a 10 hour shift on my feet.

Great Shoe - I have large wide feet with a high instep and have to resort to wearing men shoes instead of those atrocities in the wide section. Dansko's are the perfect answer for me. I wear an 11W and ordered a men's 45 so that I can wear my shoes with thicker socks on cold days.

Hopkins Highlights - Several years ago, I learned about the Dansko product and since then have worn the Dansko Professional -- almost exclusively. Being on my feet, constantly moving and putting in long amounts of time on my feet -- there is no other choice for me. I'm provided with comfort, support and healthy feet and back, too. This combination makes me a happy boy.

Better than Birki's - I am a Chef in Minneapolis, Mn. I work plenty more than full time at my job. I am on my feet for greater than 55 hours a week. I first bought a pair of Birkinstock Professional Clogs. I liked them at first but they quickly deteriorated. And the smell coming from them, because they are rubber, was quite feirce. I decided to spend a bit more and go for the Dansko Professional clog. I loved them the first day I wore them. Although after spending many, many days, seven months infact, of being on my feet for 15 hours at a time they did have a downfall. The rubber on the sole cracked where the ball of my foot was bending. I was very dissapointed. I called up Dansko and Zappo, they were both MORE than happy and willing to replace them for FREE. The best part is that I did not have to send the old ones back. I can still use the old ones for a few more months untill they completely fall apart. It is a nice feeling to know that I can be guaranteed a good product or a new product. I recommend these shoes to all of my employees and fellow chefs in my profession.

OK to start but has its problems - I've had this shoe for a year and have found that it: 1: the leather insole wears into the molded plastic sole so that you can feel the holes from the molding process through the insole (this happened 4 months in). 2: the leather on the toe wears off. 3. Shoe cannot withstand a 12 hour shift (its too darned hard) 4. But really, the arch supports, is great. 5. A 44 corresponds to a woman's size 12 not what they say...Seriously folks. I have a skinny (read narrow) foot and high arch. 44 euro both in birks and dansko is a woman's 12 - Can someone *please* standardize shoe sizes!!!! Thanks.

Not a virgin any longer - Seeing as how I have incredably large feet for a woman, tried ordering Dansko's for the frist time. I really like the look. All of my friends rant and rave about the shoes as well. I love the shoes, although they are small on me. I don't want to return them, so I'm having them stretched. I will order again, however, I'll go for the larger size.

Comfort is better than beauty - The only reason I bought these shoes is my school required white leather shoes for clincial classes. Now, I don't want to take them off. They are as comfortable at the end of a long day as at the begining. They are so roomy, other shoes feel tight . They are easy to slip on and off so they have replaced my slippers for those quick trips to get the morning paper.

Dansko Pro Review - The shoes are just what I expected. Your service was exceptional (next day air...wow!). Because of your shipment, I was able to wear these for a long day of cooking (7 hours without sitting)and was pleased with the result. As I wear these Dansko's more, they conform even better to my feet and are now VERY confortable. The stability of the shoe underfoot and the arch support are my favorite features. In a short period of time, they have become my shoe of choice for most occasions.

I am a student at NECI in downtown Montpelier Vt. I have worked in them for what feels like decades and have had great luck with these clogs. The stress on my lower back and knees is greatly reduced when I wear these Dansko shoes.

Linda, RN - I simply LOVE this clog. I didn't orginally purchase it for professional use because I wasn't sure how it would hold up so I wear it casually and I simply LOVED them so much that I am buying another pair for professional use.

I must say, I am truly enjoying my pair of Dansko Professionals. I was a little concerned at first about sizing up one size when ordering, but my fears were quickly allayed when first putting my new clogs on. They look terrific and feel absolutely marvelous. It took a day or two for a little give in the leather in the toe box to set in, but once that occurred, I find I am wearing my clogs almost exclusively, at home, to the office, church, etc. I must admit, I have problem feet: a heel spur on my right heel, and have worn orhtotics for years. But, suddenly, I find no need to wear my orthotics! Free, at last, so to speak...

My husband and I absolutely love these clogs! We can't wear anything else, even on weekends. We both work in a hospital and are on our feet all day. My husband has really bad calluses that hurt terribly, but in these clogs he is pain free!

The professional clog is (with the exception of Birkenstock) the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. I have to search for office wear and what I found was the Dansko clog, which has been the ultimate in winter footwear comfort. Style is not the thing with these shoes, but if you're going to be active and on your feet, there's nothing to eclipse the wearability of these. They are tight out of the box, but well worth working through; wear a thin sock until broken in, then get into a winter thickness sock.

Dansko Professional - The best shoes ever! Danskos are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. Now all I wear is Dansko.

What a relief for pained feet - I am a woman who wears a woman's US 12. A 42 is too small if you follow the woman's conversion chart. A 44 is perfect. Oh, boy. I have plantar faciitis and bursitis in the heel and these have been the best shoes so far (I've tried athletic, birks, tevas and clogz lights). Really, this is the best shoe for the money. I'm in the hospital and need to run to codes and they work. They also work at home with two small children. I wore them on the ice and snow, feet stayed warm and the tread was good. I just hope they extend there size and styles for woman with larger feet! Guys, these are the best and no one will laugh at the hospital or artsy scene. Go for it!

THE BEST SHOES EVER!!! I am a manager at a grocery store, and I am on my feet all day. I went to my local shoe store, and I was very turned off by the look. I asked the attendant at the store what a good shoe would be for being on your feet all day, she immediately turned to Dansko. I told her that these couldn't possibly be men's shoes but she said that they indeed were, and that I should at least try them on. I had jeans on and they looked perfectly normal if you couldn't see the back. I walked around the store for about three minutes and I knew I had to have them. They were the most comfortable shoe I had ever put on my feet. Now I wear these every day and I can't wait to put them on every morning. I wear them with all pants and even with shorts. It looks bad but I don't even care because they are the most comforatble shoes I have ever worn. I get nasty comments all the time at the store from customers and fellow employees, but I still wear them. Try them and you will feel the same way I do. Men, try them! Just tell people to shove it if they give you problems about your shoes. They are fine. Comfort can not be comprimised for look.

Unlike any other! Although I thought they were too "feminine" looking at first, just put your feet in them and you won't care. Seems like all other shoes I own now (other brands) are ill fitting, these Danskos rock! Great quality, very roomy and very comfortable. Now you know why the Doc's and nurses wear em!
