THE shoe to work in - I'm a flat-footed professional working in scrubs all day. These shoes make my feet feel great and they look great. I have the Cordovans now, because the white ones I've been wearing the past two years are scuffed as hell, but still really comfortable! I only regret I can't order them in white anymore. What's up with that?

The Kitchen Shoe - I love these shoes - classic. I bought them a size up from my normal size and that’s the only way to go. Being a chef, I’m on my feet a lot and Danskos are amazingly durable and take a beating.

My husband loves them! I bought these for my husband who runs a grocery store - he is on his feet all day long!! I took the recommendation to buy them from some of the nurses and doctors I work with and now he says this is the most comfortable shoe he has ever worn. Although he usually wears these with khakis he is pleased with the way they look with jeans as well. The only "negative" thing he has had to say is that it took a little getting used to the heel height - but that is because he has always worn penny loafer type shoes (which are very flat!). Great shoe - worth the investment! Great service - I will use Zappos again!

Great shoes, helps back feel good - These shoes are amazing. They make long hours on your feet much better and realign your spine to reduce back strain. They are incredibly comfortable!

Perfect for restaurant workers - I work in a restaurant with a concrete floor. I was tired of feeling completely worn out after work. I ordered a pair of Danskos through a recommendation from the chef and I love these shoes. They have helped my posture, my legs and feet feel so much better. They take a while to break in, but it’s worth it. They are well made. I have a brown pair, I think they look good. The sizing is something I'm not use to, but it works. I have a pair of 43s, which is a 9/10. They are loose, but it’s supposedly the way they are supposed to fit. It’s fine, the looseness works.

Comfort plus - I spend sixty hours a week at work as a baker. Before these shoes, life was achy and exhausted. Now it's just exhausted. Get these shoes. You won't regret it.

SHOE SIZES ARE SMALLER THAN ADVERTISED - I was very excited about wearing the Danskos, but when I tried to get my foot into them they were too small. I could not get my feet in at all. I read the reviews others had written and some stated that their shoes were also too small. I'm leaving the ratings at 5 until I can rate my new pair. I'm moving up two sizes from men's 46 to men's 48.

Initial Thoughts - These shoes are comfortable and true, but they seem to be made primarily for standing and for walking second. It isn't that they're not comfortable for walking; it's just that they're not quite in the same league as dedicated, geeky white walking athletic shoes, due to the lack of cushion and lack of flex in the sole. I know this because I've just walked a mile and a half to work. It wasn't an uncomfortable walk, just a slower one than I'm used to when I used to wear my walking shoes. It seems like I'm the first non-medical profession person to buy this shoe for work. My wife has just started working in a hospital and was starting to have knee and foot issues from standing all day. We bought her a pair, and after seeing them on her and reading lots of reviews on them, I decided I had to have a pair too. I have a desk job. I sit on my butt at a computer most of the day. I wanted a shoe that looks sharp enough to go with business casual attire, was comfortable and could be just kicked off and slipped into at a moment's notice. It looks like I've found the right shoe. I'll add more later after they're broken in. Since the soles don't flex, what is there to break in? ;) We'll find out. What led us to these in the first place? My mom said her doctor recommended Earth shoes to her for her knee problems, but she also mentioned Dansko Pros, and said all the people in the hospital wear them. That, plus the glowing reviews here made up my mind for my wife. For me, I just had to see them on her. Since buying Crocs for both of us last year, we have rapidly become fans of high quality clogs. To have clogs that don't LOOK like clogs is a real bonus! I feel like I'm getting away with something at work, wearing them, hehehe. Most of the women seemed to consider the 2" heel a bonus, as they like to feel taller. My wife says it will make it easier for her to change IVs in the hospital, as it is sometimes hard to reach the top. As a man (I'm 5'8" tall) I don't really care. I'm already married, so impressing women with my manly height is not an issue. If you're a short guy and are self-conscious about it, this is another bonus. Personally, I feel kind of weird being an inch taller all of a sudden, but I think that feeling will pass. If you have a job where you need to walk fast, you better either plan on re-learning how to walk fast in clogs or go with something else. Again, it's not that they're slow, just that it takes a more effort to walk fast compared to a conventional shoe. My sister says that you can walk fast in clogs; you just have to develop huge toe muscles, hehehe.

Great shoe! I purchased the shoes for my son who is a teacher. He is on his feet most of the day and also does a lot of art shows. He told me this pair of shoes is the best ever, as he does have problems with his feet and early arthritis. Thanks for the great fit and service.

This was the second purchase of the same style for my husband. He used to have foot pain before I encouraged him to try Danskos. Great work shoes and highly recommended!

My husband wears these to work in the hospital and loves them. Based on other reviews, went a half size up and they work perfect.

Great shoes - I've got bad plantar fascia arch problems, and these shoes are extremely comfortable to wear all day. Excellent arch support. They lift the heel up a bit, which feels unusual at first but really works.

Love them! I love them. I have been working as a server in a busy Manhattan restaurant for almost seven years. My feet used to hurt so much, I used to wake up with my feet being on fire! After I bought these, my feet don't hurt at all. It is true. The only thing is they run very small. I wear size 12 (women), first I ordered size 44, but it was too tight (the clog has to be lose, I think), so I had to order 45. They are a tiny bit too wide for me, but it is ok. I wish they made bigger sizes for women, a bit narrower and in different colors. Overall, the money invested in Dansko shoes is well spent. Recommend to everyone. BTW, Zappos has the best online service, I have said it many times, they rock!

Great shoes - This is my 3rd pair of Dansko clogs and they are terrific for work. I am on my feet all day in the film business, so the last thing I want to bother me are my feet.

Dansko Professional Clog - These clogs are fantastic. I've worn them for years. They now have a hard rubber sole (used to be all wooden) and I like them even better now as they absorb shock. They look great and are a delight to slip into after a long day on my feet. I have the cordovan smooth leather ones now, and they're something else with jeans. The arch support is like a massage. I wear them all day long on my days off - there's just nothing like 'em. You need these.

Absolutely Fantastic - I really love this shoe. I have rheumatoid arthritis and I am still able to stand for hours without pain in this shoe. I highly recommend it!

Dansko shoes - Has no side to side support. Easy to sprain your ankle in this shoe.

Dansko Professional - I just purchased a third pair of the professionals for my husband...He is on his feet all day in the restaurant, and these shoes are by far the most comfortable, great fitting, he has ever worn...I love doing business with Zappos not only for there great selection in shoes, fast delivery, but there customer service is outstanding...

Perfect shoe for the working pastry chef - I have used Danskos for many years. They are easy to clean, look professional and are comfortable. I’m on my feet for 12-16 hours a day and I feel as great, my back doesn’t hurt and my feet never get sore.

1st time clogger - These are very comfortable and stylish. They live up to every part of their description. I will buy Dansko for my next pair of shoes.

Fantastic shoe! I just purchased the men's Dansko professional in brown and it is a great shoe. I am so happy with it that I will be ordering a pair in black. I can finally get rid of my orthotics! If you are not used to an orthopedically correct shoe, you may find the fit a bit unusual at first. However, you will get used to it quickly. It's a great investment. Your feet and back will thank you!

A great MEN'S clog - Great wearing shoe! Looks great with jeans in either blue or black. Really durable and comfortable! A really nice masculine clog for work or play.

Dansko Professional - From Jack Cohen - 12/18/06 - My feet ache most of the time. I keep buying different shoes and try to find a comfortable pair. So far I haven't had any luck. I have been having to use many different types of custom made orthotics in every pair of shoes that I wear, and still don't feel comfortable. My wife got a pair of the Dansko Professional shoes and kept telling me how much she loves them and doesn't feel any pain when she wears them. She doesn't even feel like she has to take them off at the end of the day. I luckily took her advice and tried them on. I am so glad that I finally found a great pair of shoes after so many years of searching. These are the best and most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned. As a matter of fact, when I took our dog for almost a 2 mile walk, I chose to wear the Dansko Professionals over wearing tennis shoes. I bought a pair in brown and in black. I am also ordering some different styles from Zappos.com in Danskos and hope that they will feel as good as the Dansko Professional. These are the only shoes that I don't need to place my custom made orthotic insoles in. I wish that this company would make many different new styles and that more stores would carry them.

Awesome! I love this shoe. I have one pair at home to shop, run errands, and cook in, and another pair at my office that I wear when I am not in important meetings. They are Heaven for my feet, look good with slacks, and make me taller. Granted, they are not as professional looking with a suit as a pair of pumps (I work for an international law firm), but they will pass in 80% of the situations I find myself in, and my back and feet are happy all day. I have high arches, plantar fasciitis, calluses, corns, etc., etc. These are even more comfortable for me than my expensive running shoes with my custom made orthodics in them. I just ordered my third pair of Dansko clogs. I'm a huge fan.
