These were really cute. But they were ginormously wide. And i got the regular width, and I literally couldn’t keep them on my feet. I’m a 6.5, i got the 36 and i was flinging them off my feet. What the heck!

Cute shoe! But the size recommended for the heel to move in the shoe was way too big, so they're going back. I'll try a smaller size.

Super cute shoes, but the fit was off. I have custom orthodontics and the insoles are not removable. When I put the orthodontics in the shoes it raised my foot up too much hardly covering my heel and putting too much pressure on the top half of my foot. Without the orthodontics the shoe felt too big. I wear an 8 1/2 , which according to the package a 39 should fit fine. If I were to keep them I would get a 38 and not use the orthodontics. But I paid too much for my orthodontics not to use them. I know a lot of fellow nurses LOVE dansko, they're just not for me.

The shoes were comfortable, but I have high arches. The top part of the shoes really hurt the tops of my feet. These shoes would be best for people with low to normal arches

I usually wear 9 wide and I bought 9.5-10(40) regular but it was at least one size bigger. I have wide feet and these were very tight on my toe area, it hurted my pinky toe. Arch support was excellent, they are also lightweight which is vert important for me. They are not springy but very comfortable and supportive.Return and customer service was excellent. I can't wait to try my new order 39 wide.

I was really wanting to love these! Alas. The Dansko style is a little too molded and boxy around the toe. I didn't realize there was such a difference between them and Sanitas. Secondly, they were too big. I have worn size 41 danskos and sanitas forever, but my foot was swimming. I think others have mentioned the danskos fit a bit large. Finally, I think I only really envisioned wearing these without socks, and so the natural sole could be cute that way. Problem is, once you put socks on with these, the whole look is sort of ruined. I need a pair of clogs I can do both in - socks and no socks, so I am going to return and search for an all black pair - probably Sanitas since I like the fit and look of those better.

I love the look & vibrant color of these but they are really large. I wear a US 7 so started with a 37, returned for a 36 and that was still too large. I am waiting for 35s to come back in stock.

I always love Danskos and have been wearing them forever. However, I need to try them on in person. The last pair I purchased in a store fit perfectly. This time, the ones that I ordered (same size as always) were a bit too big. But I kept them and will continue to wear them!

Love the color and style! The width is correct for the front portion of the foot, back by the heel/side of feet area the leather is not tight against the plastic support and side of foot rubs against the plastic.

I had a pair of size 36 regular width danskos that were really tight across the top of my foot and I eventually donated them. I thought I’d try again because I love the ease of a clog but the 36 regular felt a half size too big all around. I’d also prefer black or brown with the natural wood look sole but can’t find them anywhere! Hope Zappos restocks them in narrow widths.

Owned this style Dansko some years ago when they were not as heavy and clunky to walk in. Great to stand in though and the slightly elevated heel really helps with body alignment. Size was more too wide than too long but both really. I also preferred them before visible staples were used to secure upper to soul. Will try another size and style.

I must have had a dozen pairs of Dansko clogs over the years, and I always wear a 39. Some of the stiffer leathers have felt a little tighter, but this pair felt way too big. That said, the suede is beautiful and soft and I love the the reddish-brown color, but sadly, they are going back.

I have been wearing Danskos for years, and always a size 39, as I'm an 8 1/2. This is the first pair of Danskos that feel an entire size larger on my feet. I am grateful to Zappos for allowing customers the option of returning every day of the year after purchase. I had tried to keep wearing them, figuring it wasn't worth it to return, until I almost broke myself falling out of them. Thanks, Zappos, for putting customer satisfaction in category #1. Unless you've bought this style before, be prepared to possibly be sending back, as the sizing is off. Just don't wait like I did. The honey distressed color is beautiful, however, and the shoes are the usual high quality you can expect from the brand name.

I have had a crazy time with dansko’s as their sizing is different from sanita’s. there has been quite a bit of shipping and returning of different shoes to make this come together - a simple order for shoes. Zappos has been gracious and patient and i greatly appreciate that. It is the old Zappos that I remember - helpful and about that real customer support and shopping experience. This review is more about customer support than about an anticipated pair of shoes. Zappos keep rocking and I really really hope that these danskos fit ( no shade, both things can be positively enthusiastically true)

Something changed with Dansko sizing and I can no longer wear them. I'm always a size 8 or 38/39 european. I've worn Dansko for a long time and know how they should fit. Now 38 is way too small (heel rubs on the back of the clog) and 39 is floppy huge. I don't understand at all. Oddly, Sanita 39 fits me quite well so I guess that's my new clog.

I love Danskos. This brand is all I wear everywhere, all the time, for every occasion. But the sizing! Can't it be more standardized? Or is it just hit or miss in the factory? If I don't go into a store and try them on, there's no telling how they'll fit. I wear a 41--except when I wear a 40 or a 42. In this adorable floral print, I'm not sure a 42 would have been big enough. But in the 41 I ordered in a different style, the shoe fit perfectly. And when they fit perfectly, they are glorious. Alas, not this pair.

i am so very sad these do not fit. they feel wonderful...but..were tight in the toe. I am a size 11.5 to 12 in a sneaker/boot, and ordered the appropriate size 42. In this shoe, my big toe was touching the front of the toe box. Sending back :((

This is my fourth or fifth pair of this exact same shoe, and the first time it doesn't fit perfectly. I've compared my old pair with this one and they match in size #, regular width, and everything seems the same from heel to toe, but I have to wear a much thicker sock to keep the shoe was slipping. I love Dansko, and will continue purchasing their products, but this needed to be noted.

Over the summer it seems my feet (senior) stretched or flattened out and I am no longer able to wear my size 40 Dansko clogs. I have loved them and hate that they no longer fit! This next size up, 41, seemed enormous in comparison. Even with 3 insoles added, they were way to big. Sad that they didn't work out, but always will recommend the quality of Dansko!

Has Dansko changed their sizing over the last 10 years? I had my last pair of Danskos for 10 years! Lots of nursing shifts! Finally about a year ago, the back came off of them. I tried other knockoff clogs which are all fine, but never lasted very long. Decided to purchase the tried and true Danskos. But I'm disappointed! I've always worn a size 35 (size 5.5 US), but these are HUGE! I know you're supposed to have some space around the heel, but these were so big I was literally tripping. Will be returning.. Guess I'll have to stick with the knock offs since Dansko's sizing is now all too big!!

Would look so, so much better with a black sole.

I have worn Dankso clogs for ages so I was surprised to get these and find them very, very tight - both in length and width. I'm usually a 42 regular in Dansko (or a 10 1/2 in other brands) but sadly I'll be returning these.

It felt large and the shoe was scuffed; I think they had been worn before. I'm returning for refund.

These felt medium at best, not wide. I could barely get my foot in the shoe. It was cute but I had to send it back.
