Runs big - I get so many compliments because these look so great, but unfortunately I don't want to wear them much because they're so big. I ordered a women's 9 and got a 40.5/ 9 -is that a men's 9 or something?

Pretty, but not functional. I fell in love with these looking at them online, but was surprised by their poor quality when I received them. The foot area is hard leather, not lined with fur. The lace up area is made like a sneaker, with a long tongue that's not attached to the sides of the boot, so any snow hitting the front of the boot would just slip in between the laces and into the shoe! What's the point of a mukluk if it's not good for snow?

These looked much better online. I was really disappointed with the quality and the overall look. The fur comes out in big chunks and I have just gotten them in the mail! The shoes are somewhat ugly and awkward looking rather than cute. YUCK! I'm returning them but Zappos is still my favorite site! : )

Beautiful boot, but will it be warm - I got speedy service from Zappos and I truely love the Nome boot. I can wear these over or under any pant leg, the leather is soft and the shearling is decadant. The problem is that this boot is too decadent, it will not due for cold, snowy weather because the foot part is not lined at all, so I am having a hard time justifying spending this amount of money for a boot that looks great but is only functional for early spring and late fall wearing.
