Nice shoe overall - The only problem I had with these shoes is that they turned out to have a little bit more orange-red in the color than it appears on the web site. Maybe the color will change over time. The shoes are VERY comfortable, but they do take a litte while to break in.

Red Dansko Professional Latigo - I wanted the red Dansko and because the red does not come in a narrow width, I ordered the medium, which fits a little large. I had to put insoles in the shoe for it to fit and it still feels a little sloppy. The shoe is heavier than many of my other shoes and this doesn't help the fit. I love the look, however, and would prefer a better fit but such is the price of vanity.

REALLY NICE LOOKING, BUT SMALL ON MY FOOT. I really like these shoes, for several reasons: 1) They look great!; 2) They make me feel much taller; an 3) They are quite sturdy. I did, however, have to send the first pair back and reorder in a larger size, because thay were very tight in the front. (I usually wear a 9 1/2 or 10 and ordered size 40 the first time - the 41's feel much better. The european sizing is still confusing, and I do wish Dansko made a size 40 1/2.) I've yet to try these for any distance walking, though, and I'm not sure my feet could take it in these.

Latigo - Feels great. Leather too dull.

latigo issues - The band over the instep is too tight for my feet. I need a size 7 for length, but purchased an 8 because the 7 hurt significantly on the top of my foot in that area. The 8 is long enough that they are a little difficult to walk in outside where the ground is uneven. I think they would be very comfortable if they were a little more roomy over the instep so I could get the correct length. They are fine now for about an hour, but the comfort declines with time. The arch could be a little higher, Beautiful color. Great leather and very pleasing design. Seem to be made well. Am not as pleased with them as are my daughters who love their shoes and convinced me to try them. I wish I loved their feel because I think they are attractive.

i've been wearing these for about 3 weeks and they are not that comfortable. Maybe it takes more time to get used to... I don't know. And they are heavy. But I like the height and the brown is nice. Perhaps after a month of breaking them in they'll be the best shoes ever.
