Don't get discouraged - I am a distance runner so my feet are very important to me. When I first got a pair of Dansko, my feet were sore to the point that I did not want to wear them. However I loved how they looked so I gave them another shot a few weeks later. I quickly learned that the reason my feet where so sore was because the shoe was correcting my foot structure. It's almost like waring an orthodic in your sneaker. Now I've minimized my running injuries and I feel stronger. It's a great shoe just stick with it!

All Day Comfort - I own ten pairs of Danskos! The lastest is the Red Professional Latigo. Any shoe I wear must be extrememly comfortable because I'm an elementary school teacher and I'm on my feet all day. I also walk two flights of stairs about 15 times per day. This shoe is stylish, comfortable, and I can wear it with dresses or jeans. Danskos are expensive, but certainly worth every penny!

I have been wearing the Professional for over 10 years. They offer fantastic support and they are very durable. I work with a yard crew and have even dug ditches while wearing them. They are very comfortable. My only recommendation is that if you are going to be walking more than 5 miles, you might be more comfortable in another shoe.

I had to order 3 pairs of this shoe to finally get a good fit. The first pair rubbed my insole, so I ordered larger. They were too large so I ordered another of my first size and they were great! This is a very comfortable shoe and easy to slip on while carrying a baby.

I was wanting a pair of these in dark brown, but the dark shade is available only in suede or oiled. Perhaps someday Dansko will manufacture a box leather in their Antique or Chocolate Brown. These shoes are WONDERFUL, but require about 3 days to break them in, especially if you're a first-time Dansko customer. The soles will feel hard to the bottoms of your feet at first, but if you hang in there for a few days, you will begin to appreciate what Dansko is all about! Advise ordering your true size if wearing with medium-weight crew socks, but a size down from your usual if wearing them with hosiery or thin trouser socks.

Long awaited Danskos - I have wanted a pair of Dansko clogs for 8 years, but have been too stingy to purchase them... until now. I really like the quality of the shoe, but was very sad because they aren't the 100% fit that I hoped for! I tried the 38 (size 8 equivalent) and it was way too big... so I went with the 37 (size 7 equivalent) and it is a bit snug (these shoes do not come in 1/2 sized). There is a plastic heel back that provides support, BUT it was suffocating at first. It would be super if this heel backing could be removed. The shoe is comfortable, and continues to feel better every time I wear it, because the leather is adapting to my feet. I must admit, that after 8 years of waiting, it was a bit of a let down at first! BUT I must defend Zappos, the staff and return services were so accommodating, I WILL shop here again.

Practical investment - These clogs are a good investment--the Dansko clogs that these are replacing lasted ten years of heavy wear. While you won't win any beauty contests, your feet won't hurt and you won't slip.

Danskos are great shoes - I love Danskos! I have many of them and they are wonderful. I am always raving about them. However, I have never had a pair the Latigo type of professional before so I just wondering if they are suppose to be so very tight on my foot for so long to break in. I have had them for awhile and I have broken many a pair of Dansko professionals in but this one is the hardest and I still feel it has not softened up. It is frustrating because I really like them but I will keep trying. They are great shoes for standing in foe long periods of time. I am a teacher so I stand a lot!

My Dansko's - Great shoe, very reliable manufacturer. I just wished the website had a truer sample of the color.

Great shoe. This is a great all around shoe. I can wear it to work with dress slacks or with jeans. I would recommend getting a size larger than your normal shoe size.

I originally ordered the size 38, but had to exchange them for a 39, they are very comfortable and give you some extra height, which helps, but I have twisted my ankle a couple times because of the height of the heel also, just have to get used to them. The only other drawback is that they stain your socks at first because of the color of the leather... overall I find them very comfortable during a 12+ hour shift.

Dansko's and Nursing!! I love the arch support this shoe provides. I work 12 hour shifts in an emergency department. This shoe gets kind of heavy by the end of the shift, but overall is comfortable. I love the two inch, non-skid sole. I chose brown because it looks great with scrubs and jeans.

Great, Comfortable Foot and Leg Saving Shoe - Great shoes to keep your feet and legs happy all through the work day. True to size, energizing, even better than bare feet...

Great, but appearance falters quickly - This is my second pair of Dansko clogs (I like to watch for the sales on Zappos!), and so I knew I would like them. I'm mostly happy, but my disappointments are with the appearance. Mine are a little lighter in color than in the picture - more like an over-cooked orange butterscotch than rich deep brown, and the shade difference is more noticeable because the soles are black. Something really worth noting is that this brown latigo style gets dinged up very easily. I found that running a fingernail lightly across the leather leaves a mark, so just be aware that these won't be pristine after your first few steps! I have yet to wear them in the rain but my water drop tests appear to leave some marks too. :( So far all my marks have mostly blended in and faded some though, so the shoes look like they have character. It's not a terribly noticeable thing, but I've been disappointed with how quickly they got marked up considering how much these cost (even on sale). Mine have stretched across the instep, which is good because they were a little tight across the top of my feet at first. Overall they're keepers and good running around, casual shoes.

Butterscotch-Fabulous Color - These Dansko’s live up to the brand's superb clog standards, i.e. true to size, comfortable. Butterscotch is a FABULOUS color. Absolutely LOVE color; they brighten up many outfits, particularly great w/ denim. They are great especially for Spring and Indian Summer. My only complaint is that they scratch up in the toe area. I am a busy, sometimes overactive Mom, so maybe I bump into too many things, but, because of the scratches, I can only wear them casual now, but this color, I tell you, is really unique.

Reliable and basic. Great to throw on and go

Work horses! I am a veterinarian and spend the day on my feet. These are the only shoes that make my work day possible.

Cute & good for you, too- Cute clog (I've never been one for clogs, so I'm a new convert) - the red is deeper than might appear on your computer. Very nice & great with jeans. As for comfort: these shoes really keep your feet aligned in an excellent position to support your spine. It might take some getting used to (my legs & hips hurt a little for a day), but it's GOOD for you. The only complaint I have: sometimes my feet are sore or stiff after 8 hours plus of wearing these, & I think that's because my feet want a bit more cushion over the long haul; thicker socks would probably partly remedy this. Overall, I'm happy with these clogs & would recommend them- particularly if you need to 'straighten out' your posture a bit, for the good of your back. :)

Dansko Professional Latigo - I purchased this shoe on the advice of my mother, who wears Dansko regularly, and also regularly purchases from Zappos. I am an RN, and I wore the shoes to work one day, but I could not wear them home. I am trying to locate a shoe repair shop to have them stretched in the little toe area. There is no shop here in my town, so I don't really know what to do at this point. I have had a very negative experience with my first pair of Dansko shoes.

Really helps back pain - I sustained a significant low back disc injury this year. Being someone who would often give up comfort for fashion sake, I had to deal with now not having a choice, and having to find a shoe to shop, walk, run errands etc. in and still feel sorta' cute! I love my clogs. Whatever it is about the design...I have noticed definite decrease in back pain while on my feet for a few hours. And the colour is subtle and goes great with distressed boot cut jeans!

Great Shoe - I heard nothing but good things about this shoe, so I figure I would spend the extra $$ for the shoe. I love the shoe so far. My only complaint is I am a 6 1/2-7 in Womens and I orderd a 37 which fits perfect but if I would want to wear a thicker sock it is a little snug. Also the color brown was not like the picture online.

Latigo clog - Very comfy, great color!

Durable may run a tad short - These shoes are a staple in my husband's family so I thought I would give 'em a try too. Overall I am pleased. They are durable and cute. They are made for all day wear so as a new mom I thought they would give me good arch and leg support. This they do. My only beef is that they tend to push your foot forward...so that there is room at the heel but my toes seemed a bit jammed at the front. My hope is that, like Birkenstocks, once I break them in they will fit better overall. I still consider them a good shoe and would probably buy again.

Size? I've worn Danskos clogs for years but for me, the sizes are off. I wear a size 9 but ordered a size 41 (11).

I love the Dansko Professional Latigo - The Dansko Professional Latigo is a wonderful shoe. I have worn cheap shoes for so long that my feet were in terrible shape. I purchased this shoe in early February and my feet absolutely love them. It is taking a while to get them broken in, but each day they become more comfortable. I work in retail and am on my feet 8 hours a day. These shoes have made it bearable. I also have arthritis in my knees and the shoes have helped with that problem. My feet love these shoes so much that they don't like it when I wear others. I am hooked on this shoe and plan on buying more of them. I believe that the condition of my feet have improved from wearing them too.
