I purchased these shoes because I had previously purchased the same only in a different color. I am really disappointed in these. I ordered the hickory, and I don't know if they weren't dyed correctly but the color has already begun to fade. I don't work with chemicals and the only things they are exposed to are food and water. I might purchase the same shoes, but not the same color.

This seemed like a great shoe when I put it on, but after about 1 hour, my right foot little toe began to blister from the rubbing. I've tried wearing the shoes since then, with or without socks, nylons, tights. Same thing. Seems as if I'll have to pay to get them stretched.

I had heard such wonderful things about these shoes. I did a lot of research on how they were supposed to fit and be worn. I tried them and they really caused me pain. The area that they are tightest around is the in-step area. They are supposed to slip off your heels a bit when you walk. They kind of cling to the front of your foot. At first it felt great, then after about 2 hours, it actually bruised the front part of my foot where it clung. Sadly I had to return them. I do know tons of people who love them, just not for me.

The Dansko squeak. I own several pairs of Dansko Clogs (some 3-4 years old). I am very disappointed that this time after 13 months my shoes squeak with every step. Zappos has a one year return policy and referred me to Dansko. Dansko could care less and offered no options. They claimed normal wear and tear. I find it strange that my other Dansko clogs that are older and have been worn more do not squeak. I have read articles that other people are having the same squeak problem. Perhaps Dansko is not as good as it used to be. They look great, are comfortable, but very annoying to listen to. I will look for another brand of clog.

Thought I would love these because I love how they look on other people, but the sizing is difficult to get right unless you try them on in a store. I wouldn't recommend buying these online unless you are ABSOLUTELY sure you know your Dansko size. They don't carry half sizes so you have to know whether to size up or not. I did and they look like clown shoes on my feet. I should have sized down. Oh well, next time I'll know better.

Cute, but not even close to my size - I take a 9.5 W, so I ordered this in the 40 Wide (9.5-10). The shoe came quickly, as usual (thanks Zappos!) and the color (Hickory) was perfect. The shoes were cute, if a bit nurse-y, but I knew that going in. The size, however, was absolutely wrong! It felt much more like an 8.5. I couldn't even squeeze my foot into the shoe. I'm really disappointed, as I was looking forward to these and they do not have them available in stock in a larger size.

Remember, It's A Clog - Not the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. The leather is hard. The inside bottom of the shoe is just as hard. Nice arch supports. Took a couple of wearings to be able to tolerate the support. I would have felt better about spending this type of money on a more comfortable shoe.

Got these and have been wearing them for 3 months now still trying to break them in but it just doesn't work. My feet and legs are always tired and ache at the end of my shift. Wish they were more comfy like others said.

Wide in the heel, smaller than average - I was really looking forward to wearing these shoes but I have to return them. I wear a size 10, but with these shoes, my toes were a little cramped. The shape of my foot is fairly rectangular, but since I have narrow heels, this shoe's heel was too wide. It didn't fit me, but it otherwise looked like a good shoe. The arch support was great.

I just cannot get used to them, either people love them or not. I am in the later group. I had to get them for work and I have rolled my ankle 3xs and have a back ache...Good luck to anyone who has a problem with wearing 2 1/2 inch heels.

Ran really small! I own 5 other pairs of Danskos, so I was extremely surprised when this shoe was too tight to even get my foot in. I'm thinking it has to be a defect, because this shoe was way, way, way too small. I had to return it.

Not comfortable - Hi, I purchased these shoes under the impression that it was the most comfortable shoes in the market for people like me, that works long hours and most of them being on my feet. This was my first and last Dansko shoes. I have worn this type of shoes for about 08 years, different brands that is, and they have always felt great. This time around has been very disappointing to me, if I wear this shoes to work, half way trough my shift I can't barely walk not a good felling, specially when I know I paid decent money for it.

Major disappointment! I love Dansko\'s. I broke the top of my foot and now have to compensate for the occasion swelling. I bought these shoes in wide thinking they would be okay. I couldn\'t even get my foot into them. I compared them to the other Dansko\'s I had and could not find a difference in the width.

Not as comfortable as I hoped. My friends swear by them as they are chefs and are on their feet all day. I am a waiter and I find that I'm not as sore the day after; however, my feet hurt during the shift, my friends said it takes a while to get used to them. I will update in a few weeks.

I have worn Dansko clogs for years and in fact own 5 pairs of clogs and 3 pairs of stapled sandals. They are absolutely wonderful if you have back or knee problems as you can walk in them virtually all day without pain or residual problems. When I have to take the train into the city, I actually use these for commute shoes, during all four seasons. I have noticed however that the Cabrio (black) has changed from the original I purchased six years ago. The old ones finally became too scuffed to be presentable so I needed to replace them. The new black cabrio leather from Dansko is not smooth but seems pebbled and does not have the same sporty look as the old ones. I have switched to the Sanita black cabrio which is much closer to what I was looking for. Fit is exactly the same as Dansko in terms of sizing and there is no loss in comfort.

I bought these hoping to leave behind the hopelessly ugly but amazingly comfortable and supportive Merrell Jungle Mocs that I wear everywhere because of my bad feet. Unfortunately, I can't wear these Danskos for more than three steps -- they feel like rock-hard blocks of wood, with no bend in the step, and are much higher platforms than one would guess from the picture. I lost the packing slip so I'm stuck with them! Oh well -- back to "the Jungle!"

Don't buy. This is the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever worn. I am a teacher, on my feet all day. My feet ache at the end of the day. I have just wasted this money. Buyer beware!

Shoe Size - The shoe I purchased looks great; is the right size; was delivered on time; etc. So what's the problem? I cannot get my foot into the shoe. I had to take the shoes to a shoe repair shop to have the arch stretched. Even with this... my foot is barely able to fit into the shoe. I'm hoping that with time the shoe will naturally stretch some more so that I will be able to use the shoes. I am 64 years old... have purchased a lot of slip-on shoes over my lifetime... but I have never had a problem such as this! I do not think that a customer should have to buy a shoe 2 to 3 sizes larger to be able to get the shoe on. The shoe manufacturer needs to address the arch... possibly it should be re-designed so that it stretches more. I find it hard to believe that I am the only purchaser who has had this problem. As a result, I will not buy this product in the future.

I placed an order on sunday late afternoon and I received shipment the next afternoon. Zappos Delivery ROCKS! I know of Sorels by reputation and spending time snowboarding, most locals in those cold climates wear Sorel. I purchased 2 sizes to see what fits as I'm leaving for hiking/wilderness photography in Wyoming shortly. Typically I wear a 7.5 or an 8 (an 8 generally in heels). The 7 fits well, still some ankle room, and definitely wide enough for my regular feet. I think even wearing thick wool socks will be fine with these as after wearing them around the house for the night they already soften up more than they are. These boots are medium weight, not heavier than a really light-weight snowboard boot. And I didn't expect they'd be air-light from the photo shown. These are incredibly comfortable, probably could wear without socks, the suede upper is fairly soft and flexible yet strong and thick. The upper does go fairly high up the calf compared to the caribou (would have been my other choice). Because they are a bit high and obviously a heavy snowshoe, driving would take practice. I just need to walk in high snow. Overall, these are Very comfortable, run large, are Totally cute (a combination of tough and feminine, in black and the brown they are rich in color-both so cute), I think the height will be good for walking in newly fallen snow in the wilderness so it doesn't bother me. And you can adjust the tightness on your ankles and calf with the laces. I wish I could attest to their warmth but if I can edit this I will let you know how they do in -10f.
