At work, tons of people wear these shoes, and even though I thought they looked a little elfish, I decided to give them a try. They're incredibly comfortable!!! I can't live without my Danskos now. I highly recommend them, but be sure to order a size higher than you normally would, as they run quite small.
Enjoy

Excellent working shoe -
These shoes are so comfortable, they just tend to run a little small. However, I can stay on my feet all day with little pain. I work for an orthopedic foot surgeon and we recommend these to most of our patients.

These are a really beautiful shade and look fun while also being polished and professional. The shoes are fairly comfortable - I've had some small problems with rubbing against my littlest toes, but I think that's due to a change in the way I walk (I recently broke a foot and am recovering). I'm quite sure that as I heal and as I break in the shoes I won't have that problem any more. I was also delighted with the height of the shoes. I feel much taller, but the heels are still very stable and I haven't tripped despite being used to wearing very flat shoes only. I live in a very walking-oriented city and I think the Dansko clogs were a wise choice.

Quite comfortable right out of the box. I wear a 9.5 but need a 41 in this shoe. Zappos is so great about exchanging sizes and the free fast shipping is is wonderful. This was my first Dansko shoe purchase; the arch support and overall loose fit took a little getting used to.

So Comfortable -
As a teacher, I am on my feet all day. These are such comfortable shoes, and even ten year-old boys think they look cool! The one problem is that after a couple of weeks the coloring has already worn off of the staples.

Dansko clogs -
These clogs are very comfortable, worth the money. The only problem is that the sizes run a bit small.

What a great shoe -
I'm just starting cosmetology school AND have problem feet (plantar warts and bunions!) and the Dansko clogs are just what the podiatrist (literally) ordered. They feel great after standing for long periods of time, despite the fact that I had to order them a half size too large due to the European sizing. I've already ordered another pair!

Nice clogs!
The Dansko Prf. Cabrio are very good looking, BUT run very small. I wear a 10 1/2-11 and ordered a 42.It feels like a 10 in any other shoe!I wish they made them true-to-size!

Good Medicine Shoe -
Required one full upsize to obtain a good (not great) fit.
The length and height molding feels disproportionate, they didn't leave enough height for the length, especially considering the fit of their other shoes.
Despite their heavier weight (could be reduced if they took some of the heel height off?), they're comfortable walking around the hospital on 12+ hour shifts.
Undeniably attractive (LOVE the blue), receiving many compliments.
Overall comfortable.

The Prodigal Clog -
I got my fist pair of this model clog 6 or 7 years ago, in what had been an almost lifelong quest for comfortable and supportive shoes that one could wear pounding 5 miles of New York City pavement everyday without feeling fatigued, and that one could wear with both jeans or an everyday dress or skirt. I recommended them to many of my friends who are professional dancers. Ballerinas loved the extra-high instep. Rhythm tappers and flamenco bailaoras raved about the flexible, yet supportive insoles. And everone loved the alternative to tramping around in sneakers, not very sophisticated. Then, after many years of incredible comfort, the Dansko Professional Cabrio began to change, for the worse. The sole, which used to have "sanita" stamped on the bottom now said "dansko." A small change, to be sure. But soon I discovered that I could no longer order a "37" in this style with absolute assuredness that it would fit. One pair was too long. Another pair's instep wasn't built up high enough, and I missed the "hug" I used to get under my arch. The stapling of the leather upper to the rubber sole was not as uniform as on clogs I had bought in previous years. Then, when I noticed some pairs had "made in Portugal" on them, my worst fears of a brand undermining its quality to save in production seemed to have come true. I'd stop in a store, try on a pair, and be disappointed. The heartache lasted a good two years. But my husband, who knows how I loved these clogs, tried again. And lo and behold, the pair I got a few weeks ago fit as perfectly as that very first pair! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I didn't get a "lucky pair," and that Dansko has found or returned to conscientious fabricators. You're comfortable, babe. Don't ever change!

They are not quite what I expected and took a little longer to break in than the oiled leather pair that I own. But once done they were comfortable.

Disappointed with the fit on these shoes and after reading so many positive reviews I thought surely I had found the shoe for me. I tried both the 41 and 40. One too tight and the other too long. I do wear a 91/2 wide with a high instep so that may have been my problem. This shoe as wonderful as it is was not for me The stars given are based on the size 40 which according to Dansko reps should be my size.

The jury is still out. I manage a restaurant and work 11-12 hours a day. I have been trying to find the right shoes for heel pain for over a year, and have spent hundreds on shoes. I was wearing Shape Ups for work for about 9 months and they were amazing until recently I began to over-pronate. I decided to give the Danskos a try. I wear a 6.5 and ordered the 37s. They were pretty loose all around so I ordered the 36s just to see. The size 36 were instantly uncomfortable so they're already on their way back to Zappos. After 10 hours on my feet, my ankles began to feel sore from flopping around in heavy shoes. My feet were also tired in general at the end of the day. Also, they're not very slip resistant in a restaurant environment. I'm afraid to move too quickly or else I'll fall. It's too late to return these since I've already worn them, I'll have to see if they break in a little better, and I'll just have to be more careful in them at the restaurant.

This is my second pair of Danskos, I loved the first one but this one not so much. Much more stiff and they make a squeaky sound when I walk in them. I have been wearing them for 2 months, I was hoping they would get better as I broke them in, but no luck. Looking for a new pair of shoes, will stay away from Danskos for now.

I should have taken advice and ordered up one size - I am usually an 8 so I ordered a 38 - it was too tight and narrow. I loved working with zappos… they had initially upgraded my shipping for free - I got my shoes in the same amount of time I got my Netflix!

I've been wanting a pair of these clogs for years. They come in such cute patterns unless you're a narrow like me. Then your choices are pretty basic. But I like that they are easy to slip on and off and that the narrow is a good fit. They're great to throw on to go to yoga or for a run to the store. I also have flat feet, however, and after wearing the shoes for an entire day, the arch in them actually bruised my feet. I don't know how all those medical professionals do it but I know that I'll have to limit my time in them.

I am very disappointed. I am a size 8, and first I ordered the 38. They were way too small, but very wide. Then I ordered a 39, they were huge and wider still. I tried to walk in them and nearly turned an ankle. I had ordered both pairs in the grey cabrio, one was a pretty light grey, the other was practically black. They were highly uncomfortable, they fit poorly, and to be unable to fit into either pair having ordered two different sizes is odd to say the least. They both went back and were replace by the most comfortable clogs ever. The Born Toby's. Thanks Zappos!

I ordered the size that was supposed to equal an 11.5-12 in the US. I was so disappointed to try it on and it was about a size 9.5-10. My mom wears a 9.5 and it fits her perfect. Strangely enough, even though it was so short length-wise, it was slipping off my heel. This is definitely not the shoe for me. I'm sending it back today!

I have had previous pairs of this same shoe, and love them; they are the most comfortable thing ever. The problem I've experienced with a pair bought last year and then again this year is the squeak! I thought it was a one-off for last year's pair, and tried to wear them throughout winter anyway (trying baby powder, and all other remedies). They continued to squeak. I bought a new pair for this winter, as being pregnant I am particularly keen on comfort. I was so disheartened when, a week or so after they arrived (and were worn constantly), the right shoe developed the dreaded squeak. I exchanged this pair with Zappos, who have been absolute stars through this whole thing; the new pair squeaked as well, just the same, and Zappos ended up exchanging shoes for me three times! They said after the last time that they couldn't do this again, which was great actually as it gave me ammunition to go back to Dansko (who had previously said I must work with Zappos) and say, you have to sort this out. The funny thing is, Dankso admit this is a "known issue" that they are trying to resolve, but it seems nonetheless pervasive. I know I should switch brands or at least styles, but I really love the look of this Dansko for everyday, and it really is (when not squeaking!) the most comfortable shoe. The end result: a new pair of (quality-tested, they assure me) Danskos are supposed to be on my way to me from Dankso. I am anxious to see if they too will squeak, and am hoping they arrive before the baby does (which is relatively soon)!

Do not get wet, or even damp for that matter. I purchased the Professional Cabrio. I got them a bit wet when washing dishes (a little splash over) and immediately wiped the water off with a dry paper towel. Unfortunately, the black over-color came off with it leaving a red leather swash on the shoe. I'm hoping Dansko gets back to me with a repair method. I mean, seriously, do you usually worry about wearing your leather shoes to do dishes or in the rain? These are supposed to be high quality, but I was really disappointed with them. For fit, they feel okay, but I won't buy another pair. Rather, I'll stick with Haflinger clogs; they are much more comfortable (and cheaper).

Overall, I love these shoes, I like the style, the fit, all of that. I purchased them in the Grey color though and have been very disappointed with the quality of the dye, or polish, or whatever it is. I noticed the toe started doing what I thought was scuffing about a week into having them. Since I love them, and spent quite a bit on them, it was driving me nuts! My boyfriend who wears boots for work all day and is used to polishing his shoes looked into it and found me some grey shoe polish to take care of it because he knew it was driving me nuts. In his attempts to get rid of the scuffs, we realized that even to take a cotton ball soaked in water against them, the grey color completely comes off, showing a light silvery grey underneath, making them look awful! The grey wasn't enough to cover it, so we used some black and were able to cover it up pretty well, without making them look totally black (we faded it in pretty well). I am just very disappointed that something I spent so much money on got pretty much ruined so quickly. I don't feel they should have scuffed like that, never mind the color rubbing off so easy! I would buy these shoes again, but would likely go with one of more suede-like materials, in black, so scuffs wouldn't show as much, and if they did, I am guessing they would be easier to cover!

Before I write the review, I thought it would be helpful for you to have some background so that you could understand the context of my critique. I have a very narrow foot. I am probably actually a 9AAA or 9AAAA, but since it is impossible to find stylish shoes in that size at a reasonable price I can make do with some 8M if it runs slim and has a high-cut vamp (such as a boot) or 8N if it runs long. I also have worn 8 1/2 N. I ordered this shoe in a 39 Narrow, same size as other open-backed clogs that I own (not Dansko brand). I'm sending the shoe back because I find it a bit short in one shoe and overall much too wide. Even with a thick sock my feet are slipping all over the place. (So the shoe is short front-to-back and wide side-to-side.) I have ordered a 40 Narrow as a Hail Mary in hopes that I can make the fluke-y fit work for me. I'm guessing that I'll have to send that back too, but hope springs eternal! It seems like this shoe fits best on a foot that is sort of flat and wide at the forefoot. I would guess that a person who has a slightly slimmer than B (medium) width foot with a low arch would fit well in this shoe. The Cordovan is a beautiful color and I can believe that it wouldn't stain easily. The shoe is heavier (both in weight and appearance) than a traditional clog with a wood base. Also, if you have slender legs, don't plan on wearing these with a skirt or dress, unless you like looking like Olive Oyl or Frankenstein.

After numerous pairs of Danskos that I've loved I ordered these for my mother. They are a full size larger than the 3 pairs of the exact shoe I own. Measuring sole to sole they are an 1/8 to 1/4 inch longer. I will be returning them and hoping the next pair fits true to size. I hope this is an anomaly as Danskos are the shoes I wear most.

Ordered size 43 because that is what I wear in Birkenstocks. These were way too short. Would need to go up to a 44 or 45, which they do not carry. I generally wear a size 12/12.5 in women's.
