Warm little piggies! I am always an 8.5, so I ordered Caribou in an 8 and it fits perfect with any size sock! Zappos had the boots at my door in less than 24 hours... best service ever!

Great Boot! As an elementary school teacher, I need a boot that will keep my feet warm during those cold winter recesses. This boot may not look as stylish as others, but it will definitely provide the warmth and protection I'm looking for.

Caibou - I have the Sky color...they are fabulous! Unfortunately, just browsing the Zappos site doesn't offer the more colorful versions of the boot. Go under search & type in the name; the 2nd selection of women's is the home of the more vibrant caribous. So worth it!!!

Sorel Caribou Review - This is an awesome, warm, water-proof, snow-proof boot. My only criticism is that it did run a half size big. I had already worn it outside and didn't feel I could exchange it for the next size down.

I LOVE THESE BOOTS!!! I have been wanting a pair of Sorels for about 19 years now! When I went on Zappos.com and saw the Free Shipping offer, I couldn't pass them up! What a fantastic deal and what a great boot! The boots arrived the very next day (still with FREE SHIPPING). I opened the package at work and two co-workers subsequently placed orders for Sorel boots! Even though the weather hasn't really gotten bad yet, I've been wearing them outside when the grass is wet. Very comfortable and very stylish. I can't say enough good things about them...

Cozy feet - Have not yet worn them outside, needed a good pair of winter boots for the cold. Most of the other reviews rated them good for keeping your feet warm. There seems to be enough room to wear a medium to heavy pair of socks without being too tight.

Great boot! Finally got to wear the boot as the snow and slush came about a month earlier than usual. Top marks for warmth and dryness. I'm petite (5'2") so it comes pretty high up on the calf. But plenty of room to tuck the pants in for extra protection.

Great boots for Iowa - I ordered these boots for my Daughter hoping she'd have a good warm, waterproof boot for this winter, and she got IT. Iowa winters can be very cold and wet and these boots will keep her foot warm and dry.

Barbara - Still have my first pair of sorel's taht I got in Alaska. 6 & 1/2 years ago they never failed to keep my feet warm. I wore them every where. I need a new pair this year. Time to upgrade for looks only because the ones I have are still in perfect shape.

They're comfy and they last forever! These boots are great! They're super-warm and super-sturdy. I just threw away a pair of Sorel Caribou boots that had finally hit the dust after at least ten winters of barn use. I ordered a new pair last night, and they arrived today. The treads are much improved over the old ones, and they seem to fit true-to-size with one pair of thick socks.

It's July and I can't wait until winter! These boots are great! I would have loved a size 9 1/2 but since they weren't an option--I got the 10. I like my winter boots a little bigger anyway and these are great. With normal winter socks they are just right not too snug, but I would say that they are true to size. The boots are very well constructed and super comfy! I plan on using these when I walk my dog and we do go in snow drifts and uncleared paths so these boots are just the right height for New England winters. Great soles to provide extra traction on hills and slippery areas. What really surprised me though is that such a rugged boot could be so light, but warm. They are easy to slip on and off but seem to stay in place well--and the I experienced no rubbing even though I didn't lace them up very tight. At Zappos prices this is a steal!

Better than I could have hoped for! I ordered these boots for working in the barn, but wanted them to go for the rest of the world as well. I try to never wear my "good" boots to the barn, but with these I couldn't resist. I may need to get a second pair. I got a size 8 when I usually get a 7 or 7.5 shoe, but they fit great! I also ordered the shorter "zipper" style, but they were harder to get into.

Wonderful Snow Boot and Outstanding Service! These boots look stylish, feel wonderful and keep your tootsies warm and dry in the snow! I love them! I have severe back problems and have to be careful about the shoes I wear, but these shoes didn't bother my back at all and made it so much easier to get around in deep snow! Two thumbs and all ten toes up! Also, I would like to mention that Zappos.com is a wonderful place to order shoes. I had never placed an order with them prior to purchasing these boots and they arrived the next day! I didn't ask for priority shipping or anything! The Next Day! That's what I call service!

This is one serious boot! Love the look and quality of the Sorels. The only problem is that they felt a full size too big. They fit only after I put on 2 pairs of socks. Wish they were offered in half sizes. 6 1/2 would have been perfect.

The best boots I've ever had - I'm looking forward to the snow now that I have my new snow boots. Now I'll be able to clean off my car, take walks in the snow, etc. in comfort. They're very well made, and the leather on them is SOOOO soft. I would recommend Sorrel boots to everyone.

Sorel Caribou - Love, love, love Sorels! Best and only shoe for snow and ice, everyone in Tahoe wears them, almost part of the "required uniform." Boots are made to last a long time.

Too Big - I wish I had ordered a half size smaller as these are a tad too big and want to exchange them. Otherwise they are nice and warm.

Sturdy and attractive - A wonderful boot with plenty of height and insulation. The temperature rating makes this model ideal for lower activity level in cold conditions. Be sure to order BIG! I am normally a size 9 but needed a 10. 9 1/2 would have probably been ideal, if available, but the 10's leave plenty of sock room and additional insulated air room.

THE Sorel's to get . . . If you are in the market for Sorel's (the BEST winter boot on the market), spare no expense and purchase the Caribou. They are rated for extreme cold, and live up to that. These are the best boots if you own a little land and are outside dealing with the elements. These are the absolute best in the snow. Buy a half size larger, you never know how many pairs of socks you may need to wear, especially if you live in Minnesota or Vermont.

Love 'Em - I love my Sorels. They're about a 1/2 size bigger than what I normally wear. But with a thick pair of socks, they fit great and they're extremely comfortable. Also, they're warm.

Get a half-size larger... ...if you plan to wear heavy socks. I ordered my usual size (7 and a half) and they are snug with light weight socks. They are very lightweight, comfortable, and even attractive in their own utilitarian way! If you have really big legs (like mine) you might wish for more room at the top of the boot.

Do not size down. So many reviews suggested this. I am typically a 7/7.5 so I ordered the 7. Toes were hitting front of boot with a heavier sock.

I'm short 5' 2' so the stiffness of the top of the boot hit too high on on my calf. I like the idea of the height, the funnel of the boot was too stiff so the edge of the boot pushed too much into the back of my calf.

Would prefer a zipper, but overall cute style and color, and comfortable fit.
