Great shoes, they do run a big, though I agree half sizes would probably be better for women. I got a full size smaller than I normally am, which is fine, but only just. Ideally I should have gotten just a half size smaller.
The customer service of Sorel is excellent!! Very helpful, and they ensured quick delivery!
Great product, would definitely use this website again!

My son had requested these boots for Christmas and even though I didn't like the idea of giving boots for Christmas I gave in. This was the gift that he was most excited about! He loves them and has worn them everyday since.

My niece has wanted Sorel boots for years, but could never find her size. She wears a size 12 in women's shoes and most retailers do not carry any boots over size 10. Her feet are very narrow so the wider men's shoes wouldn't work. Her brother wanted to buy her boots for Christmas. We checked the Sorel website and they had a size 12 in stock. We happily ordered the boots and were very grateful when Sorel upgraded the shipping free of charge and the boots arrived in time for Christmas. My niece as thrilled. The boots fit great. Now we just need some snow...

This pair of Sorels is my 1st pair...but its all I buy for my kids!!
So I knew they would be awesome boots!! I did alot of reasearch
On boots for women before I bought these! And caribous are perfect!
They ate very warm, comfy and attractive!! Can't say enough good

My hubby is very picky about quality, so finding a boot that he wiill love is not easy. After hearing about how much I loved my Sorels, he asked for a pair for Xmas. He took them to Colorado and loved the way they handled the snow, ice and sub-zero temps. Sorrel - pls pls keep quality high and you will always have a loyal following.

My first pair of Sorel boots were the woman's Caribou that my husband got me for Christmas 24 years ago. He wore the Premium T Sorel for about 30 years. So when the soles finally wore through on his Premium T's, he wanted another pair of Sorels. He did slip more in the Premiums because of the roundish bottoms and the tread pattern, more than I did in my Caribou's, so I decided to get him a pair of men's Caribou this Christmas.
When he opened them on Christmas, he wasn't sure if he'd like the bottoms as he was used to the others. He said the bumps on the sole were called "airbobs" and other guys liked them. Warm, comfortable, and quick D-rings for the laces.
Well... he just LOVES his new Caribou's! He went out on the garage roof to shovel off the huge snowfall, no slipping, sliding, or worrying obout stability issues! He still has the old ones in his truck for emergencies! Great boot!!!

Came as an early Christmas present just in time of a heavy 12" snow blizzard. Feet always had gotten very cold but not this time. My feet were warm is toast. Surprisingly the boots were also very comfortable even after a steady day and a half plowing and shoveling. These are the best dang pair of boots I have ever owned or even looked at. Now if only you folks made socks to match my size 17 boots and feet. I love them!

My husband bought his first pair of Sorels in 1983 and they lasted until the winter 2010, so it only made sense to buy him a new pair of Sorels for Christmas. I wouldn't have picked another brand. And lucky me, he purchased a pair of women's Caribous for me for Christmas.

I have had trouble finding any boots in size 17, especially 17B. I have suffered through life with 14s, even in the Navy. These are the first boots that actually fit and I could lace them up to keep the snow out. They appear bulky, but they bend as you walk. The lining keeps my feet warm and I haven't suffered anymore bruises on my toes this winter, since I got them. They provide good traction, especially on slushy snow, which we got the day after they arrived!

I've been looking for boots for like 2 years. I'm so sick of all the high heeled fuzzy furry pretty boots. I'd like to see those ladies walk a few miles in the snow in those boots. So I got several recommendations for sorels and read great reviews. And I am very very happy! Very warm, very comfortable, I wear them about 10 hours a day,every day. Great buy! Much Less expensive than the frilly useless boots. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you very much!

This is the second pair of Sorel boots that I've ever needed. My first pair was purchased in 1994 in Houghton, Michigan (in the U.P.) and finally gave way with a small hole for water intrusion. I moved to Colorado 8 years ago, and my Sorels moved with me. I use the boots every winter during snowfall events and also use them for occasional recreational snowboarding. I wouldn't have it any other way. Sorels are the best in functional bootwear and are styley!

I bought these for my Mom for Christmas...she was in desperate need of a winter boot...she loves them! We got the storm of 2010 the day after Christmas and she put them to the test...her feet stayed dry and warm!!! Very pleased with this purchase...
I own the Joan of Arc boots and they ROCK! I even wear them without socks and my feet are always toasty!!

I ordered my boots and got them < MUCH faster than I expected. Oh boy did they have perfect timing, the next day it snowed several inches and I needed them to bring hay in. They are plenty warm I stayed toasty and my feet stayed dry! They are very comfortable and more than I hoped for. thank you sorel!

I bought the Caribou Sorels at my daughter's Christmas request. I went ahead and bought both the 7 and the 8 after reading the reviews of size being not true. She probably wears a size 8 in most shoes, but because of all the reviews, I purchased both. Half sizes were not available. In the end, she kept the 8's, though without the liners, they will be big. She is in college in the snowy areas of Virginia, and needed the waterproof qualities of the Sorels over the stylishness of UGG's. They are extremely high quality with thick, solid soles for trudging through just about anything the weather could throw at them. The hills in her college town are treacherous in the ice and snow, and her boots will give her sure footing. We bought the Shale color, beautiful and neutral.

I have had my Sorel boots for over 25 years here in Minnesota, and they are great. My son needed to use them for an outdoor project and loved them too. Since Christmas was right around the corner, he asked for a pair. I ordered a pair and gave them to him a few days ago. He says his feet stay very warm. He wanted the black version. They look good on him. He said the new tread design doesn't track as much snow into the house. I told him if he takes care of them they should last a long time too.

I love my boots. I wish they came in 1/2 sizes. I wear a 6 1/2 - 7. The 6 was too small the 7 a smidge too big. With the great return policy the exchange was simple. The 7 fits fine with bigger socks. I love Zappos!

I love these boots. Yes they are a bit heavy but for the serious warmth and great traction these boots provide you should expect a little heft. I wear size 7-7.5 and ordered 8 and they fit great with thick socks. They also look really great with jeans tucked in.

My husband bought these boots for me as a Christmas gift. Living in Rochester, NY, we get some pretty severe winter weather, and I need good boots to wear when I walk our golden retriever, Sadie. I love my new boots! They fit perfectly, and are really warm and comfortable. They also look great! I am glad we ordered the actual size, although many other reviews said they ran big and to order a smaller size. My boots fit just as I want them to. I love the removable felt liners...it is very hard to find boots that have these anymore. I hope these boots hold up and last as long as advertised, because I love them!

I bought these boots in a size 11 for my son and when he tried them on for the first time he thougth that they weren't going to fit because he wears a size 12 in all of his other shoes but they fit great. So they do run just a little bit bigger. He loves them and they have kept his feet warm in the snow and chilly ice weather in Wyoming. You can't go wrong for the price they are a great value for your money. I would buy again delivery was pretty fast as well. Sorel is a brand that can be trusted and from the company that I bought them from Thank you Sorel.com

This was the first time I used Zappos, and they were just awesome, there's really no other way to put it. I want to do more shopping on Zappos now just so I can deal with them again, it is actually that enjoyable. As for the boots, I go to school in snowy (and salty, consequently) Ann Arbor, and so far these boots are really going the distance. They have good traction on the ice, they keep your feet warm, and they're sturdy - they stand up really well against the salt and snow. The only con so far is that they're kind of hard to take off, the liners usually come off with my feet unless I really put some effort into it. Not a big deal, it just takes longer to put them on the next time because I've got to put the liners on first. Other than that, they're really fantastic. Also, because they don't have half sizes, you have to go down instead of up. Mine were a little tight (I got a 9 and I'm usually a 9.5) but after wearing once or twice they stretched out a bit and they fit fine.

I bought my first pair of Caribou boots 17 years ago. I live in Colorado, so you know they've gotten hard abuse during our cold winters. I wore them snowboarding (old school style), snowmobiling, snowshoeing and shoveling during many blizzards. The only reason I'm buying another pair now is my niece has "aquired" my old ones and won't give them up! Hope they will last her as long as they've lasted me.
