Bought these for my son, because I've had two pairs in the last 30years and feel they are the best winter boots for the money. They fit correct and they work great in these great NH winters.Thank you Sorel!

We have had a crazy winter, so I wanted boots that were right on point for heavy snow. So far, so good.

Love them just wish they didn't look so bulky.

I just recently moved back to Cape Cod from Orange County so you can imagine my surprise with the crazy cold artic freezes and snow we have gotten this 2015 winter season. I've been wearing a pair of wellies with the fleece sock insert and my feet have been so cold I couldn't take it any longer!!!!! I have been on the hunt for a snow boot that would be durable and warm. I saw a girl in dunkin donuts with a pair of Joan of arcs from Sorel so I got to researching. Then I went to visit my friend and she had the caribou boots, I tried them on and I was in love. So I came to Boston today to buy some boots!!!! I found the caribou in the Grey color which Im obsessed with and they fit amazing. I'm usually a size 7-7.5 but I got the 7 and it fits great with my thick winter socks. The durability of these boots are amazing, they do feel heavy but you get use to it and they are extremely warm. I am totally in love with these boots and would recommend them to anyone looking for quality and durability.

I have only worn them once but that one time was great. I felt the size was perfect and the fit for my feet was great. Haven't worn them in the super cold yet, but I know that they will be perfect because I have my original pair that I bought when I was 18 and now I am 62 and they still are great. thanks, DM - CT

I live in NE Oklahoma, and most know that our weather is unpredictable to say the least. This winter my outside chores doubled and covers about 10 acres of walking. so this year i decided to be prepared (least amount of snow in years), but i was ready. i researched for 2 months before deciding on the Caribou. so glad i did because these boots are awesome. i ordered a 7 (my true size) and they are roomy enough for thick socks but not a must. i did find that if i leave my muddy boots out in the cold it takes forever for my feet to warm up so now i keep them by the heater till i need them. They are excellent on ice, no slipping at all. i have not had the deep snow this year to try them out but have confidence they will work out great. They are a little heavy but that should be expected in a boot of this type. I found the weight to my advantage in keeping sure footing and when they are laced all the way they are great for hiking on uneven terrain. as i love to do ! :) In summary these boots are not for the faint at heart, they are a serious boot for serious outdoor conditions. So if you are looking for a heavy duty durable dependable boot Sorel is the place to go. And they are cute cute cute

I purchased these boots after the 6+ feet of snow in Boston this winter. The boots keep my feet completely dry and super warm. I'm typically a 6 1/2 and a size 6 fits great. They are a bit clunky, but a small sacrifice for the functionality. They still look cute too!

You probably can't tell by the pictures, but these boots are too large compared to your legs when you try them. Other models are not as big as this one. It would be great if Sorel uploaded some picture of a model wearing them so you can see what I'm saying. If you don't mind that, these boots will definitely keep you warm, excellent quality, and the colors are awesome.

These boots are absolutely perfect. I initially ordered a size 7 based on my foot's measurement compared to the sizing chart the site provides but they were very loose. I exchanged for a size 6 and they were a perfect fit. Super warm and very comfy. They are a little clunky but it's something you'll get used to after a few times of wearing them. These boots run 2 1/2 sizes bigger than your normal shoe size. They are very heavy and difficult to walk in. I can't wear them unless there is a lot of snow because it's hard to move around in them. The insert never stays inside the boot. Every time I take them off it comes out and it's extremely difficult to get back in. The only pro about this boot is the warmth. I would have looked at a different model of Sorel's if I had time but I needed them for the snow.

I ordered these just in time for the wave of blizzards that hit the east coast and they were perfect! My feet were nice and toasty trudging through snow in -20 F temps. They fit true to size with the thick wool socks I wore with them. And as an added bonus, they are ridiculously cute and comfortable. As some other reviewers mentioned, they are a little bit heavier than the average boot, but that's to be expected with such a well-made and weather-proof boot. They sure made this first-time Sorel boot wearer a loyal customer!

These snow boots are so incredibly warm. They have heavy duty tread on the bottoms to get you through anything. The liner is removable making it easy to dry and clean. They make my feet look large, but that's the charm of snow gear!

With the wild winter weather here in Massachusetts, I decided it was time to treat myself to a new pair of boots. My new SOREL's do NOT disappoint. Immediately upon taking them out of the box I put them on and fell in love. The style is extremely comfortable to wear with jeans or with snow pants to shovel. I love the heavy feel of these boots. I feel confident that I will be wading through the spring thaw in style. The size is perfect. I am a 7 in pretty much every shoe - so I got a 7 in these based on the reviews and they fit perfect. I would recommend that you get your size when you buy them.

I've been looking for a boot that doesn't leave me soaked after walking through the snow, as my hiking boots do, in the winter. After reading a number of the reviews on this site, I was concerned about these running too large and ordering too many sizes down. I am a 9 in heels and in sneakers, and prefer a wide fit for dress shoes. I ordered the regular women's 8 as soon as it became available, even though many recommended going down 2 sizes. The size 8 boot fits me just fine. A size 7 would be too small. I don't have any issue with the thickness of the liner, and I think if I did order the thicker one, as some other reviewers did, this might be too tight a fit with thick, wool socks. I'm very pleased with the sturdiness of the boot overall and its warmth, particularly after climbing over steep snow piles and enduring low single-digit temps this year. I'm hopeful these will last me for a lifetime.

I found the boot very large and bulky even though I purchased my correct size. I love the boot, it keeps me warm and is a necessity in the heavy winters. Yet, I'm still disappointed as to how big and bulky the boot is. I feel as though it's a workout to lift my foot in the boot. I would recommend the product ,but go a size lower than you would usually.

I bought this boot for my Dad size 9. He was very surprised they fit him. He loves the boot and said "they are very warm and cozy" he is going to recommend the store to his friends. I will also recommend the store to my friends.

These boots are so wonderful in the Colorado winter. They have a nice grip, are weather proof, and they keep my feet nice and warm. I absolutely love them. After reading reviews, I went with a size smaller. I usually buy boots in an 8, but ordered a 7 and I am so thrilled I did. They fit perfectly. Yes, these boots are clunky and big, but they serve much more of a purpose than being "cute" or "trendy" ;) I highly recommend these boots in a size smaller. They're the best winter boots I've ever had!

I'm a size 8 but ordered a size 7 due to the reviews of it fitting a bit large. Perfect for the snow, easy to wash off the slush. Best snow boots i've purchased.

I bought these to wear casually on our skiing trip to Snowshoe and couldn't be more pleased! I had to buy a half-size larger than I needed, but with the inserts and thick socks, they fit perfectly. Our last day there, the temp. range was -8 to -42 and my feet were toasty and warm. I'm glad I spent a little more for the Sorels.

I was worried about ordering the women's sorel caribou boots online because I had read so many reviews saying order size larger or order size smaller and some said true to size. I took a gamble and ordered the size I normally wear, an 8,and they are perfect! They are a bit clunky but they're snow boots... They're supposed to be! They are exactly what I hoped for. I just wish I hadn't waited so long to decide to get them. They're worth every penny!

these boots keep my feet super warm in the snow. They are also very slip resistant. I am usually a size 8.5 but ordered an 8 and they fit perfectly. They are a little clunky feeling at first, but after a couple wears I'm used to them. Love the way they look, so happy I got them!

Keeps feet warm and dry. Good grip on the bottom. Only thing keeping these from being perfect is that they are SO stiff. They seem so clunky as I walk. But overall worth the purchase.

I live in Atlanta, so buying these boots seemed kind of silly at first. But then I had to go to Ohio for work and got stuck in six inches of snow and frigid cold. I couldn't have been happier with my purchase. These are GREAT boots.

I ordered this online on Friday and it was shipped to me the next Wednesday! Fast delivery comparatively! And the boots are best for the cold wet weather in Ithaca! I used to slip on ice for several times and it pushed me to buy a pair of sturdy boots like this, and wearing Sorel I don't need to slip and fall for even once any more!! That is important!!! The size runs large--I usually wear 7, after reading the review I ordered a 6, and after wearing them around for a couple of days they fit perfect now(wearing light socks). Yet inside the boots it is not so airy--so I have to loosen the shoelaces a bit to prevent my feet from sweating and soaking my socks...And the inner layer is not of that high quality as the fur comes off a bit sometimes...Overall if you live in cold hilly areas this is the must-have for winter plus they look cute!

I am glad I read the reviews and got a full size down. I usually wear a 7, but I went with the 6 and they fit perfectly. I think even with thick socks they will fit well. The shoes are really clunky and do make your feet look large, but they are really, really warm. Walking around in negative temperatures today and only my feet are warm. They took a few hours to be comfortable walking in because they are so heavy, but after that I think they are perfect for winter boots. Warm, cute, and waterproof.
