My first caribou boots have been working for twenty five years! putting them through heavy use in snow and on ice. Quality, hardworking boot I'd say! Just got a new pair after all this time and look forward to another impressive run.

Runs huge. I am a true size 8 but needed a 7 even when I added socks. Haven't used for winter yet but planning a move up north and these were highly rated.

If you venture out where your life is on the menu by mother nature you must have this boot. A moderate operator will only attain moderate performance with premium equipment and a skilled operator will attain the best available performance of moderate equipment.
When you need premium performance out of your equipment to match your skills when your life is out there you need this boot to attain that level of performance.

I bought my Sorel Caribou's in 1988. Spent two winters wearing them every day, and 10days/year since. These boots are fantastic. Kept the feet really warm and dry throughout the harshest weather that winter could throw at them and they are still going strong. Highly recommend them to any buyer looking for a serious snow boot.

Very comfortable and warm! I wore these in very snowy and cold conditions (-30 F) and my feet stayed nice and toasty. Overall, I found that they were generously sized. In my usual size they were a bit too wide with a thinner sock but worked well with a thick wool sock.

Hands-down, these are the best boots for cold weather.

Snow Boot is warm, durable and comfortable. Runs large and wide. Boot is sitting on a 1/2 inch platform and very stable footing. Ankle to calf is leather upper, has a removable lining with warm wool faux cuff.
Purchased one pair for me and one for my daughter who loves hers also.

I have about 50 pair of them and use them for snowshoeing trips. Warm, comfortable, easy to get on and off, and very, very durable. I've had other boots, but none hold up like the Caribou.
I don't use them to drive. They're too big for that.

Bought these to take on a ski/snowmobile/dogsled/snowshoe trip to Big Sky. First impressions: durable, great traction, relatively light, warm! Wore merino wool boot socks and they fit true to size. Like the color and the classic style. Seem like they could handle quite a bit of abuse and would hold up well! Love them!

I have always loved Sorel's. They are made to be able to get out there in the worst weather. I could have used a half size large to accommodate thicker socks. But don't be mistaken the size was true to my foot size.

I bought these two years ago and I wore the heck out of them. Ordering them again because they got stolen out of my truck. Perfect if you're outdoorsy-- ice fishing, snow shoeing, perfect for before and after skiing because they come on and off easy, hold their shape, and still cute! Other reviews are saying they are too bulky and I agree they are bulky if you are looking for something lighter but if you need something that will make your feet nice and toasty during snow activities, they are worth the money x10! I'm usually a 7.5 and fit in a 7 with normal snow socks

I have owned a pair of caribou boots for several years and am ordering another pair since my basset hounds seems to love them as much as I do! They do run large and they have a very roomy toe but that allows for lots of toe movement and circulation. I also find that they are really easy to slip in and out of and sometimes I wear them without any socks because they are amazingly warm! They are quite heavy and can feel clunky initially but they are so sturdy and warm and have the best traction. I like the classic styling and the clunkiness adds to the feeling of "this is a serious winter boot". I can walk all day in them too! Very comfortable. I live on the North Shore of MA where we get quite of bit of snow as well as 20-30 degree temps often. I normally take a size 8 1/2 to 9 in a boot and these fit me well at a size 8 with plenty of toe wiggle room.

It's s till giant, way too big for the size it states. Buyer beware, this is a great boot, but the box is marked in both EU and USA sizing, and they don't align. according the the EU size my size 8 was a euro 39/9.

I bought your caribou men's boots about 4 years ago and it is a fantastic product. My feet fit comfortably and stay dry. I love that the lining comes out. I just wish your manufactured it in the USA.

Love this boot. Hiking, snowshoeing it's perfect, and excellent traction (recent ice Storm proved that). I should have bought a half size down though, this is big even with thick socks. Overall this is a perfect boot. Lining very nice too. Hits well in mid calf for tucking in or leaving pants out.

I love these boots. They are so comfy, warm and have great traction. We've had an unprecedented amount of snow in my town this year and these are fabulous for the grocery and shoveling the walk!

I bought these boots for going ice fishing because my other boots wouldn't keep my feet warm and I absolutely love them. My feet never get cold in these with a pair of wool socks. I can be outside in cold temperatures fishing without my feet freezing. The only thing I would recommend is going a half size down with your shoe size. I usually wear a size 9, and I bought a size 8.5 and they fit perfectly. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who has to be outside for a long time in these cold temperatures!

I purchased these boots after debating between the Tofino and Caribou and finally decided on the Caribou as it was rated for colder weather. I wear a size 10 and ordered that size as I like to wear thicker socks and couldn't be happier. These were comfortable from the minute I slid my foot in and my toes were toasty, too! We have been experiencing an unusually cold winter and these are functional, cute and warm.

They keep your feet so warm and toasty in cold Ohio winters. I believe in this brand and only this brand !

I am replacing my Caribou Sorels after over 30 years of wear. They have kept my toes warm in northern Minnesota and in the Colorado mountains.

Got these for my mother for her birthday. She is usually an 8 in any other shoe, because she has wide feet. I had to exchange them for a half a size smaller, they still look a little big but not as big as the 8! Comfortable, warm and a great boot overall. The exchange process couldnt have been easier. Thank you Zappos for always having amazing and effortless customer service! <3

Love these boots! I always order a half size larger so I can wear thick socks and still have room so my feet don't get cold. I'm hooked on Sorel!

If you are going to be anywhere snowy and cold - you need these. If it's 20 below, your feet will always be toasty, even if the rest of your body is freezing. Say goodbye to cold feet. Be forewarned however that these boots are huge and bulky - when I first took them out of the box I was a little taken aback and they seemed like too much. But, as soon as I stepped outside somewhere snowy I fell in love. These are definitely heavy duty clunky snow boots but they are surprisingly comfy and cute. I bought a pair of Tofinos for commuting to work and running around the city in cold weather but my Caribous are the go to when I'm heading to the mountains. You won't find a better snow boot. Note that they do run big. I went down a half size from my street shoe size (and I always am wearing heavy socks too).
