I really wanted to love these; however, I’m looking for what sorel used to have. These are just incredibly bulky and heavy duty (great if you’re using them for work) I just really wanted something that was cute comfortable and functional. These are NOT cute lol.

Purchased the boots for my fiancee and she could never be more happy, loves the look and feel of the boots, and most of all the warmth and quality, I've been a long time customer, received my first pair of Sorel's 40 years ago when I was 8 and I've never purchased another brand other than Sorel ever since.

I’m typically a 7 1/2 and ordered a 7 1/2. The shoes are a little loose but I’m sure when I have thick socks on they will be perfect. If you’d rather wear thin socks with these boots I’d size down a half size.

What can I say? My Caribou boots are 35 yrs plus old. I started wearing these boots somewhere between 8-10 yrs old and now I'm in my mid 40's looking for a new pair. For the first 10 yrs of owning the boots I used mink oil 2-3 times. The craftsmanship is EXCELLENT. After all these years I replaced the liners 3x. The leather that holds the rings for lacing the boots finally gave out after all these years (these are the only things that need repair).
In all these years my feet never got wet. WOW!! The only 2 faults I can see in the boot are these 2 things: You need to try the boot on in store before ordering (boot size and feet size were very different). The second fault is warmth. The wool liners did not keep my feet warm in Minnesota winters (depending on activities or temp I always used a warmer and shoved it down into my boot).
The only real issue was the warmth. If you know that your going to be outside for an extended period and/or on the ice your going to have to do something to keep your feet warm (several layers of sox and/or a warmer).
After all these years I am now looking for another pair. I would like to try one of the pairs like the 1964 or the Pac boots but the Caribou are tried and tested. If anything lasts 30 years you would be dumb not to buy the same thing again. Sorel puts out an excellent product!

Nice looking but felt too big, wide, and clunky. I'm going to try the smaller size.

Read and followed reviews and purchased a half size down and it fit perfectly! Looking forward to wearing these during New Jersey winters. Super cute! Can’t wait to pair these up with winter outfits!

I like the look of them and the texture of the sole. They seemed like they would be really warm and good for snow up here. But I returned them because they were very heavy and too stiff. It felt like a heavy ski boot. I may regret sending them back when it’s-30 come winter. I purchased a different boot that was lighter weight but will still be warm.

I'm a 10.5 and this shoe felt huge! I love that they were wide, but too wide for my foot. Very stylish and warm!

It was when I wear standing North of the Arctic Circle, watching the Northern Lights, when I realized what an awesome purchase these boots really were. My husband and I bought matching boots (insert "aww" here, if you'd like) and we both LOVE these boots. Layering with wool socks, and a good pair of regular socks underneath.. you're feet will be able to withstand and protect you from temperatures you didn't even realize they could stand. This is the type of boot that will literally "knock your socks off" with the beautiful arch support hidden in the middle, and the warmth of the layers this very boot provides. In these boots we went: Reindeer sledding. Dog Sledding. Northern Lights Hunting. Ice Fishing. Hiking the Fjords, and so much more. Please, do yourself a favor and buy these boots already. I promise you will NOT regret it.

I bought these boots to finally replace the Sorel boots that I have had for over 25 years. My old ones were just wore out and I hated to part with them but I am si glad I did. Hopfully these will last as long as my old ones.

These are definitely warm. I can wear them walking the dog in 10" of snow and my feet will be completely warm, even a bit sweaty. No water or cold gets through at all. I think they are cuter than the joan of arctics. However, they are absolutely HUGE. I suppose so you can wear thick socks, but honestly, they are so warm, you can just wear regular socks. They are comically large. The footprint they make are as big as my husband's. Size down AT LEAST one size.

disappointing quality! the rubber area on the TOP area of my toes simply cracked.
Of course it's already out of warranty, but really should not happen after only 2 winters.
the rest of the shoe is in great condition, so this really should not happen!
this isn't even a seam or stitch - it is the top rubber that cracked open.
I had other Sorels for so many years and was happy, too bad that quality for such a "rugged" shoe is oh so poor!

I love these snow boots!! They are so comfortable. I normally wear a 9 in boots, but the reviews said to size down a half a size so I purchased an 8.5 and they fit perfectly.

I have been thinking about buying these for months and finally committed. So happy I did! I LOVE THEM! I read all reviews about sizing and sized half a size down which was perfect! I took them for their first mountain trip last weekend and my feet were warm dry and toasty. There is plenty of room around the cuff if you have larger or low calves and they are nice and snug around the ankle but let your toes breath and have toe wiggle room which I love about boots like this. These boots are built to last and think these may last me into my old age! Very very happy I spent the money! I want sorel boots for the whole family next winter!

These boots are the perfect fit, and keep my toes warm longer. Sorel has always had a great reputation for exceptional weather boots, so I knew I would be very happy with my new Sorels!

Don't get me wrong, these are excellent snow boots.
BUT.
They are warm to the point that I overheat and sweat, even in the Minnesota winter.
They fit the length of my foot just fine, but there is a ton of room in the foot area. With each step my foot lifts from the bottom of the boot to the top and the boots slide up and down my legs.
They are heavy such that I move slower than normal, and my legs hurt from having to lug around so much weight on my feet. I have to practically run to keep up with people.

I love these boots. I have tried many boots over the past few years, and none of them have been able to keep my feet warm. These boots keep my feet warm and dry so that I can finally enjoy a beautiful snowy day. I loved them so much, that I got a pair for my daughter and my 2 nieces.
Sincerely,
Christine Billerica Massachusetts

These boots are awesome if you're going to be outside in the snow. I got frostbite last winter because I had the wrong boots. That wasn't fun. These go down to -40 which is perfect! They are still cute so you don't have to sacrifice warmth for looks. I know I won't have to worry about frostbite again with these boots!

I have had these boot for about 3-4 years. I only really wear them during snowy days, so I estimate I have worn them about 20 times and now there is a 1.5 inch crack on the rubber near the big toe. The crack goes through and, of course, render the boots not waterproof and pretty worthless. I really have not worn these boots enough for this problem to happen. Reading other reviews this seems to be an issue with many others too.
