Great boots that will surely last a long time. Many reviews say to size down and that was not the case for me. I am 7 1/2 and the 7 was too small and had to exchange for a 7 1/2 which fits great. Very warm and cozy and cute!

After reading all the reviews about sizing issues for Sorel boots, I decided to measure my feet and follow the size chart rather than order my typical shoe size. Normally I wear a 9-9.5, and ordered a 7.5 per the chart, and they fit! Even with thick socks. So for this model, for now, I would recommend using the sizing chart as I did before ordering. I would describe the arch support as 'minimal' rather than 'none'. I haven't yet tested the durability or efficacy of the boots, but my first impression is that they are excellently made and would keep me warm and on my feet in the snow.

Very warm and comfortable boots. They really keep my feet warm and they fit nicely.

After reading other reviews, I order an 8 when I am a solid 7. They fit perfectly with a normal cotton sock. I don't like thick socks. They are so warm and comfortable. Traction felt secure when walking around in snow. They are wonderful and have me looking forward to winter -

These fit great, true to size, very comfortable, very warm. I did wind up returning them but only because I live in a big city and wanted boots for walking to/from work on slushy streets and these seemed like overkill. We don’t get much snow but if we did, or if I was traveling to someplace that got a lot of snow, I would buy these again in a heartbeat.

This is a fantastic boot -- and it came in half sizes!! Size 9-1/2 fit perfectly and that is my regular shoe size. Sturdy, waterproof, great treads --- who could ask for more! Well, it's cute too. Very happy with by purchase and the Zappos price was a deal.

Good for extreme cold.

These latest pair of Sorel Caribou boots came promptly and fit perfectly. Our family has been wearing Sorel winter boots since the '60's, can't live without in the North!

I really like SOREL boots to begin with (I wore the soles out on my last pair after at least 10 - 12 years of excessive use) and I especially LOOOVE these SOREL Caribou boots. They are so warm and comfy with enough room to wear a pair of thick socks, but honestly, they are probably not needed because of the warm boot liners. I wear a size 9 and purchased them in shale/gray. I definitely feel that they do not look heavy or clunky as described by others. If you want a pair of boots to keep your feet up off of the cold ground and snuggly warm, these are the ones to get!!! I have no doubt that the substantial "tread" on the soles will prevent me from sliding around while walking on snow-covered ground this winter. I'm not hoping for an early cold winter but I can't wait to wear them!!

The fit was just right. They are a lot heavier than I thought they would be but I'm sure they will keep my feet warm and dry when it snows.

A great, high quality boot that takes winter conditions seriously. Cold feet - never. After 20 years of using this boot in -40F temperatures, I decided to update my pair. Highly recommend!
