CUSTOMER SERVICE - I ordered these boots on Saturday at 11:00 AM and received an e-mail saying that even though I requested regular shipping, Zappos.com was expediting my order. Being Martin Luther King Day on Mon., I thought I'd see them about Wed. I came home from work and my wife said they were delivered at 12:00PM.....on Monday! I wore the boots today and they seem awesome. As long as they are as good as the service from Zappos.com I'll be impressed. P.S. This is not a paid endorsement...it really did happen.

Sorel Conquest (British Tan) What awesome service. Ordered these yesterday afternoon, didn't expect the delivery til next week. Then I get an email saying they're going out tonight and here I am the next day trying them on. Perfect timing--with the arctic freeze the east coast is getting. So far they look and feel great. Haven't really tested the comfort/warmth yet. Should have a good idea by the end of the day. Thanks Zappos! I will recommend your site highly.

COLD DAYS AND HAPPY IN NJ - Ordered the boots in the morning and received them the next day UPS in the morning. Boots are Great and fit very well. Guys at work liked them so much also ordered them from ZAPPOS on-line too. Thanks.

Ice Mule - I began the winter of 2004 walking 1/4mi to class four times a day, five times a week in Caterpillar work boots. I got tired of sitting in class with cold yellow toes. The 400g of thinsulate and the comfortable rigid sole of the Conquest has made all the difference. I fear nothing off the beaten path. I am the Ice Mule!

Great working boot - I work in law enforcement and am wearing this boot in the snow and ice we recently received. This boot is comfortable and has kept my feet warm and dry. This is a great boot for cold weather.

Zappos is the best - I ordered these boots at 11:00pm on a Monday, at 6:00pm on Wednesday UPS was knocking at my door. What great customer service! This was with just standard shipping. Oh by the way I love the boots. I where a size 14 and it can be hard to fit me, these boots fit like a glove (well actually a boot). Keep up the good work.

Great boot - These snow boots are GREAT! Warm, dry and comfortable in the most hostile environment. No snow down the tops when the stuff is deep. All the stores in the Bay Area in Calif. want $125. Got them on line at Zappos for $98. I wear a 10 1/2 shoe and the 11 boot fits perfectly with an athletic sock.

Outlasted them all! I've had a pair of Sorel boots for 22 years! I bought them in Idaho to use when I was working as an Elk guide, and continued to use them while working in construction back east. They have served me well over the years, and are only being retired now as the leather has just now finally dried out. These have been such great boots, that I was elated to be able to purchase another pair online. Thanks for such a great product!

Happy in Maine - My wife gave me a pair of Conquest boots for Xmas last year.I now hunt with warm dry feet.

Unbeatable - This boot looks exactly like the Sorel quest - I had a pair about three years ago - it was by far the nicest, coolest, and most comfortable winter boot I ever had. I worked in construction at the time and loved everyday that it was cold enough to wear them. I have never bothered to write a review before for any product but they were so good I just had to. I have looked for another pair for more than a year now and am really glad I finally found a source for them. Even though I now live in the south, I am going to order a pair.

These are great boots, but the rubber gave out and cracked after 1½ winters. I plow snow and think that the ice melt probably did these in with the wear and tear. They are very warm and run true to size. I will probably buy another pair this year and see how long they last this time.

These boots are very warm and I think they will be more comfortable once warn in. There is a certain spot about half way down the boot, under one of the shoelace loops, that pushes into my foot just right to make it hurt after a few hours. Sitting in a tree stand it's fine, but walking trails can really hurt after a while. I think once they're more broken in it will be better though. They are very warm though and otherwise very comfortable.

Cold just got warmer - the Sorel Conquest boots arrived even earlier than you said they would! I have worn them only a few times, break in was not required, been great so far. Been in 14 degree weather over night, no rain or snow so far.

Chunky! This is a very warm and good looking boot. It's very stiff though, though perhaps it'll break in a bit more. It's not the most comfortable boot I've owned, but it's not uncomfortable either. It's just beefy, heavy and built like a tank. The Conquest is made for heavy duty cold weather activities; in that it excels.

Hardly any padding in tongue area - I'm returning these boots because there is hardly any padding in the tongue area so I can feel the laces against my ankles which is uncomfortable, and since there is no padding I don't see how breaking the boot in would help. That said, every other aspect of the boots seems very high in quality.

Winter in Northern Minnesota - I really love the free shipping & guarantees. I found the boot to be true to size; but quite stiff for about the first 3-5 days, mainly in the upper parts of the boot. Now some 4 weeks later it fits like a dream. It's very warm and great for Southern Canada where we ice fish! Suggestion - it's a little hard to slip on because it does NOT have a convenient ring or tab at the upper back of the boot to grip when pulling them on. I'm probably going to modify mine by punching a hole in the small tab and inserting a short rope/steel ring to aid in pulling them on. All in all, it's a fabulous boot and I would highly recommend it!

These boots have a fairly small profile and are easy to drive in. They are quite warm and have a good tread. Don't be fooled by the strap on the back. It is strictly a fashion item and an annoying one at that. The strap on mine kept going loose. This had no effect on the fit, but the cuff of my pants would get caught on it. Finally I had to cut the strap off and take a hacksaw to the plastic buckle. All in all, I feel these boots are a quality product. You can't beat Zappos customer service. The order was instantly filled and I had my boots within two days.

Boot is well constructed, but for a boot rated at -40 my toes were getting cold shoveling snow at 7 degrees. I wear size 15, so it was great to find a store that has my size plus free shipping and free return if they don't fit, which happens often in my size! Thanks Zappos, you will see more of my business.

I ordered these after a pair of Baffins failed to live up to customer ratings. They are well constructed boots but certainly not a 20° or below boot if you work outdoors. As far as warmth the ratings appear to be self inflated. They are probably good for short term use outdoors but not if you need warm boots all day. I wore them one day at work and my feet were cold within a couple of hours. I did not like the non removable liner. Zappos is in my opinion the most outstanding company to deal with anywhere. They have my business.

The top of this boot is way to small for my husbands foot. The tongue is sewn in so unless you make a ballet foot really well you might have problems getting these on as well. I am so disappointed!

The material broke down very quickly and the boot fell apart.

Very disappointing! They claim to be waterproof but far from it, the boots leak through the tongue when the snow melts. I used them to work outside in the Colorado High country. I went through two pairs in a month due to them failing. The silver lining was Zappos, the customer service has been superior.
