The fit is great! I usually wear a 10.5 and so I ordered both the 10 and the 11. The 10 fit perfectly! This is the first pair of doc martens I have purchased in nearly 30 years and they’re just as comfortable as I remember.

Love the color and this is classic dr martens…needs some time to break in but should be my go to boots after that

I bought both the women's 7 and 8 in these boots, trying to find my size. The size 8 was fine except for the length (I'm a 7.5 in most shoes). I've always worn a UK 5/ US 7 in Docs, with room to spare. I thought the women's 7 in these boots would be great. The length & width were perfect, but the bottom seam of the lacing cut into the top of my foot so badly that I couldn't even take a step in these. The size 8 didn't have that issue, but the length was too much of a problem for me to keep them. I'll stick with the unisex UK 5 instead (I ordered those as well, but I returned them because Zappos sent me a used pair - so gross).

They’re beautiful and so trendy. However, straight out the box they are so stiff and take time to break in. If you have wide feet, I’d say size up. I wish that they came in half sizes

I usually wear a 10.5 so I sized up to an 11. It was too big. I went down a size to a 10 and they fit perfectly.

I used mink oil to make them a bit softer and easier to break in. Bought true to my size and they feel great!

I LOVE these boots, however, I am a true 9.5 and the 10 was waaaay too big, while the 9 was much too snug. No amount of breaking in would fix that. I do have a wider foot, so I am guessing that is mostly why. Hoping that another style will fit because I just love Docs!

Awesome right out of the box! Haven't had a pair of Doc's since college, which has been a minute : ), and needed a "look" for a Halloween costume. I'm in love with these and constantly looking for normal outfits I can wear them with every day. I'm still fiddling around with the lacing for best fit and dialing in the best sock height, but that's to be expected, IMO. Worth the splurge for comfort, style and general badassery you just can't get with copy-cats.

Canvas! I can't tell you how much I love the canvas Docs! They are so light and flexible! I can wear these all day! The floral pattern is beautiful and I get so many compliments! Want more colors!

The boots are great, I was not happy that the boots I received were obviously returned. The show laces were already laced and seem short compared to my last part. I do love the boots and will keep and reccoment them, I would probably get them where you can know your getting NEW shoes and not returned shoes for fun price

These are light weight and fit well. I ordered a half size up since I wear a half size.

Fit true to size and they were in perfect brand new condition which is why I went with Zappos instead of other stores. Fair price for a classic black pair. I love docs nice addition to my collection

My daughter loves the fit and style of her first pair of Docs. She says the leather is really soft. She wore them around the house for the first week or so, just to be sure she liked them and to break them in slowly. After she wore them for the first full day today, she said they didn't irritate or rub her feet at all. Very satisfied with this pair of boots.

Daughter wanted these badly: She has a narrow foot. They first, but she will not wear them for very long because she finds them uncomfortable despite breaking them in for months now. She still wears them, but strictly for looks and only a few hours. I do not think this is a great choice for an everyday shoe.

they are great! recommend thick socks they are very stiff and feel like even after I break them in they will still be hard on the inside.

Not a comfortable fit for wide calf. Leather may have loosened up after wear for a better fit, but I'm not willing to chance them never fitting well.

I bought these as a surprise gift for my girlfriend. she loves them, has been wearing them everyday for 4 days so far, and says they are very comfortable and fit great. so far no pain in breaking them in.

Love these! I’m normally a 7.5, I ordered 8 because I wanted to be able to wear thicker socks. So they are slightly big but will be totally fine with socks that are thicker than the no-show types. They definitely need to be broken in to be more comfortable but right out the box are not bad. Will totally order in different colors!

My 15 year old daughter has worn them everyday since I bought them for her! Its hot outside right now- JUNE!!! she loves them!!

These are really cool and if you get a good pair are so comfortable, but I am a true 9.5 and the 9 was too small, the 10 too big (although depending on manufacturers I have shoes that are 8.5, 9, 9.5 and 10!!) I ended up deciding to keep the 10 because you can always put in an insole or wear a thick sock but after wearing the shoes out I discovered that the pair I received had a defect in the right shoe: where the tongue (under the laces) is sewn: the leather was left too long and was folding over itself when you insert your foot into the boots, causing a lot of painful pressure on the top of the foot. At first I thought it was just the stitching and I just needed to break these in but then I realized what was happening... so disappointing! I saw another review on Zappos that described the same issue so obviously this is not the first time and it is very disappointing that Doc cant get their quality under control. These went back.

These are very comfortable but I am a true 9.5 . The size 9 was too small, I could feel my toes touch the end which I really don't like. I also ordered the 10 in this style which was a bit too big but I felt was a better fit. I really don't understand why such a popular company can't make shoes in half sizes...these are not cheap and supposed to last for years, you'd think they would make the right size available to the loyal customers. By the way- the style Sinclair runs bigger, I think I could have gone with the 9 but those are EXTREMELY heavy and uncomfortable and also rub really badly at the top of the zipper so I returned those as well.

I have a narrow heel, low arch/instep, slightly wide across the ball of my foot. These are a perfect fit for me in my usual size. They may be a bit too roomy for those with narrow feet. But for me they were perfect right out of the box. Plus, even though I’m a size 11, they did not make my feet look big - which I kinda expected they would.

A little loose... but I would not size down a full size. I love them!

Are usually wear a size 7 1/2 in boots and in Vans. I originally ordered these in a size 8 but had to return for a size 7 and the 7’s fit perfect. The paten leather is definitely super squeaky at first but if you rub Vaseline or lotion on them, which sounds strange it will definitely help get the squeak to stop faster. Comfortable right out of the box
