Are usually wear a size 7 1/2 in boots and in Vans. I originally ordered these in a size 8 but had to return for a size 7 and the 7’s fit perfect. The paten leather is definitely super squeaky at first but if you rub Vaseline or lotion on them, which sounds strange it will definitely help get the squeak to stop faster. Comfortable right out of the box

Other than the basic tight DR Martens Leather feel you read about. It's a shoe to love. You may have to get double socks or silicone socks to break them in. Or dive right into it. Like my 4 year old did her's lol. But overall I Love them. Since my Silicone socks haven't arrived. I've had no choice but to wear them as is, and I've had no problem ?

I tried on the smooth black version in size 8 and it was HUGE on me. After reading the reviews I opted to order the Nappa Leather in size 8 and they fit perfect. They feel a bit less bulky that the smooth black too which for me is a plus. I prefer shoes with minimal to no arch support and a firm sole and these fit the bill. I can tell they will require a little breaking in but that's always been the case with Docs in my experience. I haven't owned a pair in about 20 years so these are taking me back and I love it.

These boots are beautiful and comfortable. It took a few days to break them in though. The patent leather is a showstopper.

I usually wear 9.5 US women's, but these only come in whole sizes. I did some research online, read reviews, and learned that they usually run big. I ordered a size 9, and they were almost too snug on my bigger foot, but I have been wearing them around the house for a few days and I think they will stretch out and be perfect. I definitely think the size 10 would be too big for me. I got the cherry red Acadia leather, and wow are they squeaky! lol. I had planned to wear then for a video shoot this weekend (I'm a photographer/videographer) but I will pass because they might be too loud. I hope that goes away as they wear in. They definitely need some time to wear in and get comfy, but I have heard that about all doc Martens shoes. I love the color, they appear black at first but the red shines through in the light.

I bought these for my 16 year-old grand-daughter. She absolutely loves these boots. I am the hero for a least this month, until she sees something else she want to get to wear to school.

This is my first pair of Dr. Martens; am super happy. My feet are in the clouds. Light and bouncy and styling at the same time. The leather is of good quality and not to mention the hearts, well they add a touch of femininity. Over all all thumbs up.

I’ve worn this style for years and years and they fit the same as always (I am a women’s size 11, but order a size down since they run large). The only thing I will need to get used to with this pair is that they are canvas and not leather, so not sure how that will wear over time, but they are really cute and comfy, as always!

I ordered the Victorian flower pattern and I love them. They are fabric which is what I was hoping for since I'm vegan. It didn't really specify this in the description so I'm really happy I took the chance based on the picture. They are super cute! I love the pink stitching. I know I'm going to wear them a ton. I usually wear an 8.5 and I ordered and 8. They fit well.

Great quality you expect from Dr Martins! I still wear a 20 year old pair of these. This is actually purple as purple should be, not burgundy or maroon. Purple Boots!!

The boots that are referred to as "purple," are actually a beautiful smoky soft violet shade.. really beautiful, and unusually comfortable during a first wearing. I do wish Dr Martens would do half sizes, but I am in the lucky group that the size 8 is a roomy enough size that I don' t need a 9 which would tend to run big. I recommend thick socks! I would like to see this boot in a platform style.

I don’t normally write reviews, but I felt compelled to leave a stellar review for these boots. I ordered these on a whim before a trip to Denver thinking they would be cute but also functional in the cold, icy weather. I had read numerous horror stories of the extensive break in period (i.e. blisters and bleeding), but thought “what the heck? I’ve got room in my suitcase for a backup pair of boots just in case.” I was so pleasantly surprised at how comfortable these were straight out of the box. Literally had no break in period to speak of. I wore these all weekend in Denver walking 3-4 miles per day around town and had no discomfort WHAT-SO-EVER! My feet stayed dry, warm and blister free the whole weekend! Plus they paired with every outfit I packed…from jeans to leggings – dressy and casual. If you are on the fence about ordering these, do it! You will not regret it. I am a true size 10 and ordered these in a UK8/US10 and they fit perfectly. I wouldn’t recommend sizing down as other reviewers have said. And even on my large foot, these didn’t look like clown shoes. I think the women’s cut is more narrow and flattering for a larger foot.

Flashback to the 90’s! Love these classic boots! I wear a size 7, sometimes 7.5. I ordered the 7 and they fit perfectly. My feet are on the narrow side, and the width felt just right, so someone with wider feet might have an issue. Excellent arch support. They’re on the stiff side, but, that’s to be expected with Dr Martens, can’t wait to break them in. The color is to DIE for! Deep rich red, almost black/brown. Love them!

I am normally a 6½ and tried on both 6 and 7. They both fit with room in the toe area but the 7 was quite roomy. The 7 is noticeably larger looking, with fatter laces. Thus, I went with the 6. They are actually pretty comfortable right off the bat!

I opted for the Black w/ Victorian Flowers and I LOVE THEM. I'm usually an 8 1/2 and the US 8 fit me just right. I have very flat feet and the base of the tongue still bit into the top of my foot a bit during the first day of breaking in, but it's getting more and more flexible each day. I have yet to try these in inclement weather, but for everyday work (8 hours on my feet on the sales floor) I think they'll be fantastic. And there's no question that they look absolutely amazing. They come with both plain black laces AND pink ribbon laces!

I am a true size 9 and they fit well. After about a few uses the sole started peeling. A little disappointing but Zappos was kind enough to exchange it for a new one.

Nice shoe, nice style. these are only available in full sizes, and I am a half size, so I must return.

Love the color and this is classic dr martens…needs some time to break in but should be my go to boots after that

I normally wear a women's size 9 but when I ordered the 9, I felt like I was wearing clown shoes. They were floppy and huge. I really wish they came in half sizes! I am going to return the 9 and order an 8 to see if I can make those work.

Love this color! Love the look and the softness of the leather. Sadly, I didn't listen to other reviews and purchased a 38. I need a 37 they are just too big. Size 37 is out of stock...guess I will have to wait :(

I typically wear a size 9 in American shoes and a size 39 in European shoes. I ordered the UK 6 & UK 7, the latter was recommended to me on the size chart. The UK 7 felt WAY too roomy and big, the UK 6 felt just right. I kept the UK 6, the UK 7 is being returned. My recommendation to anyone buying these shoes is buy the size that the size chart recommends and the one that is one size down to see which one fits better. Be mindful that these shoes will stretch and mold to your feet. Other than that, so far I love this shoe. The color (purple smooth leather) is delish and the style is right on. I'm currently in the process of breaking them in, which I understand can take a while but is worth it. So here we go!
