I absolutely love these boots! I cannot praise them enough. They are so comfortable I wear them everyday and am sad that summer is right around the corner as these are so comfortable they are almost like my outdoor slippers and it makes me sad that it will be too hot to wear them soon. I have these boots in Napa Leather and just purchased the Dark Smooth Purple, I wish they carried the Pink in size 10 because I would buy those in a hot minute. I highly recommend these boots. You will not be sorry, you will just be sorry that you have to take them off at the end of the day because they make your feet feel so happy.

I got the victorian flowers pattern. I love these shoes!!! They were hell to break in, but now that they are they are very comfortable. It took me about two weeks to stretch them enough to wear them and then a few days of walking around to get them comfortable. I have really high arches and kind of wide feet, so your experience might be different. (My trick for stretching them was to put an old jar of bare minerals powder under the tightest part- it's the perfect size to stretch the arch and it won't compact like newspaper.) The shoes fit everywhere except the bottom of the tongue, and it was *really* tight there. I was worried I would have to return them, but it all worked out! I was a little concerned about the quality of the material since they weren't leather, but the canvas is really thick and the pattern is dope. I've gotten a ton of compliments! These shoes are great for cold, snowy weather. We don't mess around with the snow in Buffalo, and these keep my feet warm and dry. My only complaint is that the heel is really wide. My feet run between medium and wide width, and the heel is still really loose. The lacing helps keep my feet in place, but my heels still slip around a bit. If you've got narrow feet, these might be too big for you. I should also say don't look to my review for arch support. I haven't found a shoe yet with arch support high enough for my feet, so I'm not a reliable source for that.

Everyone who has owned a pair of Docs knows there is a break in period, and it is not painless at all! However, if you can fake it till you make it, these boots will become the most comfortable boot you own. I wear them to every music festival I go to and am the only person who leaves with their shoes in great condition and no bruised toes when people step all over me. They are edgy, very durable and will last you a lifetime. I got my first pair in 8th grade. Now I am 26 years old, still have my Docs from 8th grade, still buying more!

This shoe looks just like I hoped. The main thing is that you have to break them in. You initially might feel like they are too small but you should wear them for at least 2 Weeks and you notice that they will feel better. I love these boots and I hope they last long.

I ordered the Black Victorian boots and have been wearing them to work almost every day for about a year. I am an 8½ and got these in an 8 - I should have gotten them in 9, but I was too impatient to exchange my order. They were really difficult to break in and involved me stuffing them with newspaper and being in pain for four weeks, and taking them off on my lunch breaks to massage my feet, before they were comfortable enough to wear every day for twelve hours straight like I do now. About eight months in, the edges of the sole where it looks like it is sewn onto the boot upper began to crack, but I patched it up with Shoe Goo. I hope they last a couple more years. My only regret is not sizing up!

I can't express how much I love these boots! These are my new favorite shoes. They are so much fun! Love love them!!

Nappa Leather much easier to break in and I love the look of these much better than the shiny black ones. They take a little bit to break in so be prepared.

We purchased this for our daughter-in-law for Christmas and she loved them. They fit perfectly and looked really cute on.

Have always had a great affection for Doc Martens and these have made it even greater! These were true to size, shipped quickly and were even cuter in person than the picture!

Cute and stylish boots but very very uncomfortable. I bought these for my daughter who wore them around the house but could not get used to them. They are unlined inside so you can feel all seams and stitching. They are also very hard, still, and probably really need to be broken in well. She couldn't get used to them so back they went.

Wanted Dr. Martens 1460 for a while now. I've bought other Dr Marten style boot previously but not sure on size still. I am a true US 7 and previous Dr Marten boot 7 for women were too big and wide. They felt like clown shoes to me when I worn them. Worn them couple of times and gave them away. So this time wasn't sure which fit and size to get. After reading reviews on 1460 w, I decided to get this in US 6 but after receiving although my feet went in, they were super tight. I returned them and upped to US 7. They fit great but after wearing them a while they've gotten half size bigger. If you wear thick socks then they will fit great if you're a true women 7.

Beautiful Purple color boot and took awhile breaking them in. I bought for my teenage daughter and this is the color she desperately wanted. About a month or so after she broke them in (which took some bandaids to ease the blisters), the purple leather started wearing off in patches. It's worn off down to the first layer. I wanted to return them but since it took her a couple of months to break them in, she didn't want to go through that again with another pair. Very disappointed to see more and more spots wearing away on these boots. I've owned a lot of Docs, and this has never happened! This is a pair made in Thailand, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not.

These are the cutest shoes I have ever owned! They are made of a very soft leather and have a comfortable, true-to-size fit. What a great combination of style and quality construction. I love them!

I think that Dr. Marten's are good boots and shoes because they come in different colors and designs. And they can be worn in all types of weather except the summer.

I love the floral print on these and the canvas is very sturdy. There are alternate pink satin laces in the box if you want to switch those out with the black. My foot is slightly narrower than average, which could be why my heel moves around quite a bit in the boot (and loose shoes drive me crazy). I'm going to have to wear these with extra thick socks to stop the rubbing. I can tell that one size down would be too small, so I'm going to keep these and just deal with the looseness since I like them so much.

Beautiful boot! Sole great support but upper stiff and digs into top of foot. Bummer.

These Docs are adorable; I purchased them in the Black Floral Patent. They do, however, take about a good two weeks to wear in. Also, it's very easy for the patent to rub off, which is supremely disappointing considering they're a more expensive boot with a well established brand name. For the most part, the arch support is very minimal in these boots. I have very high arches, but was able to purchase inserts and can wear them easily for most of the day. I don't regret my purchase of these boots and still wear them all the time, I just wish I knew before I bought them that they require more maintenance and looking after than would be expected of any other kind of boot such as these due to how careful you have to be to not scratch the patent; you can't do any kind of actual work in these. (Which I suppose, most people in floral boots won't be too worried about.)

Just like the traditional 1460, only better! These are wonderful boots, soft and comfortable, and you have to love the flowers! I can't think of anything bad to say, buy them you will love them!

Very disappointed in the Victorian flower-print version of these. The material is so stiff and inflexible that it cut into my instep, and also created terrible blisters on my heels. I imagine the leather version of these is a better product, but the "woven canvas" is awful, and I would not recommend them to anyone. Not a good non-leather option.

I ordered these in "Black Vintage Rose Softy T." They are beautiful! They are so stylish and like others have mentioned here they aren't clunky. I am a size 7 but have an extremely narrow foot. I ordered a UK size 5 (US 7) and I feel like they fit me correctly but I'm going to wear them around the house a bit to make sure. Also, make sure you wear some pretty thick socks. I have plenty of toe room but my heel rubs against the back of the shoe. I put on some semi thick socks and the problem was solved. This is my first pair of Dr. Martens so I'm not used to the feel yet. Still, nothing will make me part with these. They're just that adorable.

I've been wanting Docs for years, but thought that with my high arches and narrow feet I couldn't wear them. After reading reviews that the 1460w was better suited for a woman's foot, I ordered the purple 1460w. After three days of wearing an hour each day, they were completely broken in! I added some Dr Scholl tricomfort inserts which provide superb arch and heel support. Love! Now I need the black nappa and cherry red!

The Doc Martens are awesome! They are easy to break in and they look great on. They do run big though: normally I wear an 8 1/2 and since I heard they ran big, I ordered an 8. Well the 8 is little big. Half sizes would be great. Overall though they are great boots - even guys comment on how cool they are on.

These boots are AWESOME! There is a bit of a break-in period when I got blisters on my heels, but now that they are nice and broken in they are VERY comfortable. Excellent boots, highly recommended!
