These shoes are as expected. It is difficult to find shoes with a good arch support in "slide-in" shoes.

Really comfortable shoes. Takes NB inserts very well. Leather is sturdier than the cloth of this style. This is my third pair over that last 3 years. Really like them!

These shoes are comfortable out of the box. I wore them the week while on vacation with no problems - excellent support. I prefer the ease of slides and wear Easy Spirit Traveltime around the house. The W801 is equally as comfortable. I prefer the New Balance brand and wear their WR1123 for my daily 3 mile hike. Did I mention great service from Zappos?

These are great shoes. I have been wearing them for about five years and just received my third pair from Zappos. I still wear my first pair for gardening and the second pair around the house. I have NB top of the line running shoes (walking for me) but I prefer this shoe because of its ease in slipping on and off. It is well cushioned and comfortable.

Love these slides! These are my second pair of New Balance slides. I have a wide foot, so these are great. I like having the support in a summer shoe, instead of wearing a flip flop. These are so comfortable. I only wish they had more colors to choose from!

Great shoe. This is my new "go-to shoe," whether I am walking out for the mail, spending the day at the mall or in the car. New Balance is made in the USA. The shoe is comfortable, sturdy, stylish and quick to slide on.

801's are a very comfortable slip on sneaker. I stand all day long and I feel I get good arch support from these shoes. Like the fact they are slip on so I don't have to be tying them all the time.

I love these shoes. They are perfect for taking the dog for a walk or slipping on to grab the mail. They function like a tennis shoe, are easy on easy off and look great. Highly recommended!

I ordered these shoes because I already and a pair in white. I love them and have received many compliments on the style. They have good support and are easy to get on and off of course.

Have loved NB slip-on in past, but this D width felt like a B. It's not good for my wide foot. Zappos is always a reliable, great source!

I have owned three pair of this shoe since 2000 and just received my fourth pair which I put away for spring and Summer. I love them because they offer good support without feeling like I am wearing a shoe. I have flat feet so cannot say anything about arch support. My son steals them to run quick errands. I have other brands of shoes but this one is my favorite and I hope New Balance continues to make them. I mistreated my last white pair so wore them when I pressure washed the driveway and I accidentally hit the toe of my shoe with pressurized water and was amazed all the dirt washed off so cleaned the entire shoe. I still wear them.

I own the predecessor of this shoe, the 802 (bought 4 years ago). Needed a new one, so I checked my shoe, ordered that size, and WOW, the new shoe was at least a 1/2 size larger than I needed. I blame New Balance for this. My old shoe still fitting well. Once I get the size right, I expect that this 801 will be a new favorite. Comfort, great arch support & stability!

I was so thrilled to be able to get these shoes as I have a narrow foot so I am not able to get this great shoe for casual wear. I read all the reviews and noted that many felt the shoes ran narrow. I think the fit is great and attribute the slim feeling of the shoe due to the band that fits across the front. Great Shoe!

I have just bought my 4th pair of NB801 clogs. I have bad arthritis and I can wear this shoe all day long and they don't hurt my feet. I've just had another back surgery and I put this shoe on when I get up in the morning. I work at a hospital and the NB801 is what I wear to work. Comes in white, gray, blue and white, and tan. I hope they never stop making them.

These slip ons have lots of cushioning, especially in the heel for my spurs. I would prefer flats or barefeet and really don\'t like sneakers but have to wear them for the spurs. New Balance has so far provided the cushion and support I need to be comfortable. These are good because at least part of my foot is not inside a shoe! I can usually wear a B width but had to get the D in this style because of the shape. It seems to narrow in the middle of the shoe and the B was too snug for comfort. These would be great in a solid black.

Love this shoe. I need a shoe with good support, that allows the use of my orthotics. Very comfortable.

I have fallen arches, and I love this shoe/style; it's all I wear! My podiatrist approves of them, and my orthotics fit in them perfectly. I only wish they made them in other colors, like black. This one doesn't have fabric on the top like the others I have, so it required break in and is a more sturdy/heavy shoe. I also have the white/blue pair; they're almost like spandex fabric and are beyond comfortable and felt wonderful from the minute I put them on, no break in for them at all. I love this shoe!

These New Balance classics are just fantastic! I just washed them and they came out looking almost brand new. I truly recommend them to women that have wide feet. They are strong yet flexible.

I have been wearing an older pair of the NB 801 tennis shoes for years. They are the perfect fit for my orthotics! My original pair were slightly big so I thought I would order a 1/2 size smaller. Knowing I could return them so easily if they did work was reassuring. My new pair fit as perfectly as my well worn pair. I highly recommend them, esp. for anyone wearing orthotics. Sandy P.

I purchased these shoes to replace my worn out athletic slides. I found them to be very comfortable...plenty of room in the toe box, but a bit narrow around the middle of the shoe. The center of the shoe in composed of an elastic fabric. Perhaps once these shoes are broken in the elastic will relax a bit. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase and I would recommend these slides to anyone who is looking for a casual athletic shoe. Just remember the elastic is snug. As always, I was thrilled with the service that Zappos provided. I love this company!
