Best shoe for comfort I've got! Perfectly comfortable (no rubbing, no heel or arch discomfort), these easy slides stay on my feet. They are just like a good workout shoe for everyday shuffling, walking, and working. The look could be less gym-shoe and more subtle or casual, but my feet are happy and so am I.

I get lots of compliments on the Khaki multi-stripe, so cute. I ordered my normal size, but in wide, and fits great. The extra width allows my foot to slide all the way in and a larger size was not needed. Great for the 10 minute walk from my parking garage and still attractive for work.

Comfortable fit - I normally wear a wide shoe but this one I ordered in a regular width and it fits just fine due to the nice wide toebox. A very comfortable shoe!

Great Look, Great Fit, Great Price! I bought my pair of 801s at a 3-Day Breast Cancer Walk. The pair I bought at Zappos was for an older friend who tried mine and loved them. The support and traction are great, and the comfort is incredible. Easy shoe to wear - and easy to get through airports! Buy this shoe!!

Great look and feel - Very comfortable shoes. Looks really cute with cropped pants. I wear it all the time with my capri jeans. I got lots of compliments on them (bought the beige one with the multi-colored stripes). Great service from Zappos.

New Balance W801 - Love this shoe! I ordered the khaki, then within 2 weeks ordered the brown suede. I would recommend going up a half size for maximum fit and comfort. I found the elastic in the khaki to be a bit tight across the top the first several times I wore them, but it has loosened up now and feels perfect.

Sooo comfortable! I love them. They are so easy on my feet and fit really comfortable. Love that you don't have to fool with laces when I have to go through airport security points.

Awesome sneaks! Comfy, cute and fun. The Camel color is perfect for disguising the casual factor of this sneaker and the slide is so convenient for quick trips out. New Balance really cares about the quality of these shoes. My last pair I had for years before I got rid of them. I get a half size larger so my heel fits better in the back.

Bonnie from NC - These shoes are great. I have ordered them in multiple colors. Very comfortable for walking and very stylish. They do run a bit short in length. I went up a half size which worked perfectly for me.

Spiced up athletic clogs ... love those stripes! The tongue on the tan W801 has 'racing' stripes ... that really gives them a perky feel. They are easy-on, good support, and fun to wear.

New Balance W801 - This is my second color in the 801's. I got the brown/red this time. They are so cute! Very easy to walk in. I never feel as if they might slide off or anything of that nature. As always, Zappos did a fabulous job fulfilling my order!

As a teacher, I have to stand all day. This gives me support as well as comfort.

New Balance slip-ons: W801 - This is a wonderful, extremely comfy shoe. I'm a NB fan for just those reasons. I first found out about the W801 slip-on from a friend who had a pair. I tried hers on and I was sold. True to size, they stay on well and keep my feet happy all day. I'm thinking of buying a back-up pair.

I Love These Shoes! I bought these in black and then ordered a second pair in brown. They work well for everyday casual, as well as aerobic walking. I live in Florida and hate for my feet to be closed into athletic shoes that tie and have uncomfortable heels. The 801 is perfect.

Perfect vacation walker - I just got back from Vancouver, BC where my husband and I walked what seemed like every downtown area- the New Balance were so comfortable and looked great with capris- just a better look than the lace-up 811 walker (another favorite). Got the new dark brown with pink N - great look as we go into fall. Went up half a size- too tight and short at my usual size.

I can't wear slip ons because I walk right out of them, this slip on has an elastic band on top which hugs my feet and I don't walk out of then, and are very comfortable. That's why I just ordered my third pair.

Great shoe for injured knee and heel - I just bought my 5th pair. I have a knee injury and a heel problem and regular shoes hurt my heel. I'm so happy with this shoe. It's all I wear now. :) PS: Zappos is great. The shoes come so fast, and free shipping is the only way to go (fixed income ya know)

New Balance W801 Mule - I love these shoes of which I now have three pair in different colors. I buy the size 8 wide and they fit me perfectly and I have a hard time finding shoes that fit well and are comfortable, and also look good. I have had a lot of compliments on them.

Special needs and special comfort - I have severe arthritis which has caused my feet to deform. Until I found these wonderful NB W801 I had not even been able to wear shoes (which sort of limits your social activities) I would recommend these to anyone for any purpose...they are truly the best!

Get much larger if you retain water... I ordered a size 11 "D" width -- love the shoe but uncomfortably tight, even in the morning before the heat has made my feet swell. It also felt a little short, so will order a size 12 and the next width size up this time.

I get compliments every time I wear this shoe! These shoes are really cute on, especially with shorts or a casual short skirt. Every time I wear them someone compliments me on them. They're also comfy enough to wear on short walks. I bought 2 pairs.

Suzy from Michigan - Just love the New Balance 801 open back shoes. I usually wear a size 5 but needed to order a 5 1/2 because the 5 was a little snug. The neutral color is perfect and with the different colored stripes on the arch they go with everything. Very comfortable shoe. It's not a sneaker and not a sandal just right when you need something in between.

Good little shoe - I originally purchased this shoe in my regular size 9 but had to return that one and get it in a 9.5 because it was jus a bit too short. At first the 9 was fine but after wearing it on my morning 3 mile power walk I found that it rubbed one place on one foot. This was probably because I was not wearing stockings. Otherwise I love the shoe and can wear it all day.

New Balance W801 - I love this shoe; it's exactly what I was looking for. I commute daily and wear heels at work, so I was looking for something stylish yet comfortable. This shoe was perfect. The neutral color allows it to go with a lot of my outfits and I get lots of compliments!

So great, I bought two! These shoes are fantastic. The fit is perfect, and they're great for working out, although I wouldn't recommend them for running. I loved them so much I bought an additional pair so I can have a pair exclusively for the gym.
