I bought these (in 13 3E) because they are supposedly made on the 7 last like the Macneil model. I like this last because I have very wide feet and I've found it to be the roomiest and most forgiving. However, this shoe feels nothing like the Macneil and is tight. I could barely get my feet in. I have tried multiple Loafers from AE but will unfortunately have to go elsewhere for this style because they all fit me too tight. Always keep in mind that ymmv and this was just my experience.

This is 8th pair of Allen Edmonds shoes in my closet. They are great additions to my wardrobe and an investment that lasts a lifetime.

Comfort level could be better. Feet hurt after several hours.

I own over 30 pair of AE shoes. Each pair is exceptional. Well worth every penny of cost.

I like the cream polish and the quality of the leather. The style is sophisticated and the shoes are very comfortable. Requires no breaking in.

If you're looking for a classic, quality tassel loafer, this is the short for you. Runs a tad wide in the heel, but it fits true to size otherwise. Also to note, they oxblood color is not a bergundy like some other brands that label their shoes oxblood. That being said, it's still a beautiful color that goes with the same stuff a bergundy shoe would. I'm hoping to wear these for the rest of my life, re-crafting when needed! I highly recommend.

I have bought Grayson's for over 40 years this is my 10th pair

My last pair of black Graysons gave up the ghost after a number of years of faithful service There was no question about replacing them with another pair. I have worn this shoe ( and its earlier iteration) for fifty years. Hope to out -live this pair, it could be difficult.

I am 72 years old have owned and loved your shoes for over twenty-five years. I currently own 11 pairs. They Graysons I received were of extremely poor quality to include: poor quality leather, very dull appearance, unevenly dyed, shadow zones with no dye at all near some seams and under tassels, black sole dressing smeared on leather of left shoe and some plastic-like compound on the entire bottom of the soles. I can't tell you how disappointed am to see the dramatic decline in the quality of your shoes!

This shoe is very hard. I think I will love these when they are finally broken in. I have worn them about 6 times. The right shoe fits a little tight.

Classic style and good craftsmanship at a fair price.

I have had a number of "Grayson Loafers" over the years. I started wearing AE shoes 45 years ago and I have always been pleased. Please keep on making great shoes MWE

Great pair of shoes. Very comfortable although slightly large to size. Would buy again.

I am usually very satisfied with Allen Edmonds shoes. I have purchased several pairs over the years (at least 7), and have never had this problem before. After moderate use over, the sole on both the left and right of these loafers has almost completely separated from the shoe. Now I can either pay to have them recrafted or throw them away. I would not recommend this pair of loafers.

I have purchased shoes from Allen Edmonds for over 25 years and they have always fit well and stayed in great condition for many years. I have had several pairs of shoes re-crafted and they always come back to me like new shoes. The best shoes for my feet!!

Hi, This are my third pair ofAE and the quality is just disappointing Very soft lether loosiing n it shape after first time having them on I guess this is it a fine with AE for me :-( Regards Henryk

The Grayson fit was just a bit larger than my Codys, had to go down a half size but the exchange was painless. Now sending my two pairs of Codys for a full refurbish.
