It is hard to fine nice tassel loafers. These are well made and fit.

The 2E was tighter than expected. Have another pair of AE 2E shoes that fit much better. Thought ordering the same size and width would work, but it didn't.

The shoes look great, but they do run large in my experience. I'll need to exchange for half a size smaller.

I was looking for a true burgundy color but the ox blood is a mix of burgundy with black accents. AE are great, long lasting shoes so no complaint with the brand, just difficult sometime to get accurate photos via a website.

This shoe is very hard. I think I will love these when they are finally broken in. I have worn them about 6 times. The right shoe fits a little tight.

Great shoe. I wish it would have fit. Got a D width, narrow through the front. An E width would be too wide in the heel.

It's been a while since I bought a new pair of Grayson loafers, and this is the first pair that I've purchased them in Dark Brown. I own and have owned many types and styles of Edmond Allen loafers over the years, including penny loafers, horse bits, monk straps, moccasins, and others. Loved them all. But for me, the Grayson tasseled loafer is the ultimate classic. Maybe its the simplicity of its design. Certainly a good fit. But what I really love is their versatility. They look great highly polished with a suit (socks or no socks), and they look just as good slightly scuffed with jeans or khakis or even shorts. And like all great Allen Edmonds shoes, the more I wear them, the more I care for them, the better they look and feel. That's why I've owned some of mine for more than 25 years. It just doesn't get much better!

With few exceptions all my shoes during the past 20 years have been Allen Edmonds because of the impeccable quality. The Grayson is no exception and offers the good looks of the classic American tassel loafer. Buyers should carefully check the fit in the toe box because as the company says, it's low compared to other lasts and may make the Acheson a better choice. If you like the fit, they can't be beaten.

Finally found an Allen Edmonds loafer that doesn't have major slippage in the heal area when walking. I went a half size down at the suggestion of my salesman from my normal 10D. Only problem is that while the left shoe fits great the right feels too narrow in the toe box after I have started wearing them. I now believe I made a big mistake on size. I will probably try stretching although I don't think it will work. Too bad, because these are beautiful shoes.

Right foot shoe rides up on hill and is a little stiff but that shhould moderate with time. This is my sixth or seventh pair and I would still buy them again.

I'm a big fan of Allen Edmonds shoes. I have over 40 pairs. However I have noticed in the past few years you seem to be choosing lower quality materials for the insoles. I first noticed a few years ago when I sent a pair back for recrafting and noticed the difference in the insoles. Now you're doing it in you new shoes also. The comfort is still excellent, and the last fits my foot perfectly so there's really no break-in period.

I love the shoes. It is my fifth pair of Graysons along with Park Ave and several others since 1990. Although it is the only pair that I have had that slips badly. Hopefully I can resolve the problem.

Two week old shoes. Still stiff and tuff to evaluate at this point. Can only get better the more they are worn. Your survey timing would be better if you could give people some time for break in. Comfort with these shoes comes with time and not two weeks! Ask me in two months how they feel!!

Comfortable loafer, I love the way it fit from the first moment I wore it. I wear it with khakis and jeans and they are a great alternative to my penny loafers. If I really have to be picky, they are a little on the heavy side and I am not sure I can take them out for a walk in the summer heat.

first pair of AE's that I have purchased and I was not disappointed. matches will with full suit or slacks for more casual. i did feel like it ran a little short but overall very happy

I recently purchased another pair of Grayson dress shoes for my husband for Valentine's Day. He has 4 pairs of AE shoes now (2 dress, 2 business casual) and AEs are his "work" shoes. His day goes better when his feet feel great!

I love this shoe but the instep is very flat and causes some pain if you have moderately high insteps. I have found that professional stretching by at the store will resolve this however. The shoe is like a slipper once broken in. Great price of footwear for the collection.

Salesman talked me out of 11 1/2 D, said it was too big. Purchased the 11. Most days my toes ache. I'm sorry I listened to the salesman

I was looking for a dress shoe that I could wear to work in the office everyday, a loafer type shoe with classic styling. This shoe fits the bill. It has great looks, a tassel, but no kiltie that will curl and ruin the look of the shoe. Wait till you slip them on, they are incredibly comfortable, but have a 7 last, so there is a lot of support and heft. They are more substantial than the mocassin type shoe and will last for years.

It is rare for a guy to receive compliments on his shoes, but with this pair, not a day goes by without someone saying something
