Outstanding. These are probably the best shoe I'll ever own. The leather quality is excellent. The shoes feel comfortable almost immediately. They aren't running shoes, but they're not going to give you blisters either. The styling is classic and will always be great for formal wear. The shoe is built on a narrow last, so their normal-width fits a bit tight on normal feet. Unless you have skinny feet, you might want to go with the wide size.

Did not settle - Usually I have to settle for D width shoes and figure out how to make them work. The Park Avenues in C width were perfect. The only reason for 4 stars for comfort is because they are dress shoes with hard soles. These shoes are expensive, but they are also well built and beautiful.

This is the best dress shoe on the market. If you are hesitating between the Park Avenue and another pair of shoes, please do not hesitate! Price, quality, reliability, comfort... there is nothing like it. I have been a loyal Allen Edmonds customer ever since I bought a pair two years ago; these are my third pair. Again, there's nothing like it. They're the best dress shoe on the market.

This is a professional, great shoe with a comfortable, professional style which needed only a short break-in.

My first impression was that these shoes are the most comfortable shoes that I have ever worn. The shoes have a traditional cap toe style, but I would have preferred a less pointed toe such as with the AE Byron.

I'm speechless. I have been eyeing this pair for a good 5 years and finally bought it. I must say I wish I bought them a long time ago. These shoes are very classic looking... I mean it's 5 yrs later, and I still couldn't find a better looking shoe. Having owned a pair of AE before, I knew my size, and they fit like a glove right out of the box.

These are classy: a classy shoe in all regards. They're well made top to bottom. The leather upper was a bit stiff at first but broke in nicely after two days of walking about.

I just bought my 2nd pair!!! These are, by far, the best dress shoes I have ever owned. They took a couple of wears to break-in, but after that, they became the most comfortable dress shoe I have ever worn. They are incredibly well-made and look very sharp. My first pair were black, and I just ordered a brown pair. I wish I would have spent the extra money years ago.

You get what you pay for! I read a lot of reviews about this brand of shoe. There were comments like "comfortable right out of the box," yada, yada, and I was skeptical, you know? But I'm happy to report that being a skeptic isn't always what it's cracked up to be, at least in regards to these shoes. Bottom line: buy this brand of shoes, it's worth every penny, and the people who proffered that the shoes are "comfortable right out of the box" were right. I'm glad I shelled out the dough.

This is the most comfortable captoe that I have ever owned. I also have a pair of J&M Meltons, but those will be my backups for these shoes for those times when the Park Avenues are off being re-crafted.

These are great shoes. The shoes were comfortable out of the box. They broke in quickly and feel like they will last a long time. I used to buy cheaper shoes, thinking that I was saving money. Not any more!

The 8 hour shoe: I am a professional wedding photographer and spend 6-8 hours on a Saturday on my feet. Allen Edmonds shoes feel great, look great and give you the all day support you would normally never get in a dress shoe.

If you're in business formal, this "is" the shoe for you. I gave it 4 stars only because they're new and need to be broken in. You can get any width with these great USA made shoes. I have a cave man foot, so maybe I should have gotten EE or EEE. They have great leather that shined to a deep luster on the first try. This is an absolutely classic shoe.

These are worth the money. I purchased a pair of the Melton Johnston Murphy shoes and returned them to Zappos because they were stiff and dug into the side of my ankle. For some reason they are cut higher around the ankle than the Allen Edmunds. I purchased these after returning the Meltons. There's no comparison in the leather, fit or construction. It's a beautiful shoe and was comfortable immediately.

My husband wears a size 12Wide shoe which is difficult to find in stock in most shoe stores. My husband is thrilled with these shoes. The fit is perfect, the quality outstanding, and he says they're the most comfortable pair of shoes he owns. We'll definitely be ordering from Zappos time and time again!

These are great looking shoes, and they're extremely comfortable. I've had them for close to 3 years now, and they have held up extremely well, although I only wear them once or twice a month.

My feet are in heaven, but the rest of me is here. These are terrific shoes! The fit is perfect, the look is perfect, and my feet are terribly happy.

You'll be hesitant to buy another brand of dress shoe. These shoes felt better after one day than most shoes I have had for years. They feel almost custom made. I own 2 pairs of the Park Avenue. The size is true.

This is a great shoe. It's more comfortable than I expected. In fact, after a 1/2 day of wearing them they where broken in and felt great. It's a classic design. This is my second pair of AE's. I'm finding it hard to wear anything else.

This is a nicely built shoe. Even the EEE size is still a bit narrow, as I have a high arch. Also a it's a bit on the long side, almost an inch longer than my other brand 9 1/2. They're comfortable and breaking in well. They shine up well too.

These are the best shoes I have ever worn. I'm hard to fit with a 13 B foot, and I have to be extra careful regarding fit due to type 1 diabetes and the very real possibility of amputation that starts with poorly constructed shoes.

The jump sharpe shoe - You can wear this shoe on all occasions. I have owned several pair in tan and black. They offer excellent comfort, and they look rich. That's why I've named it the jump sharpe shoe.

Though it's not as fashion forward as others I own, this is proving to be a classic go-to shoe for me. It's great looking and provides all day comfort.

These shoes fit true to size. It is almost impossible to find an A width shoe. They seem to be well built and should last a long time.

These are a classic design; they are well-built and recraftable. Fitting these is apparently a bit of an adventure as many people report that they are narrow, but I guess that depends on your foot shape. For me, my usual size felt enormous in these shoes; after going down half a size, they fit perfectly, and they do not feel narrow at all. The look is good, though noticeably less elegant than similar English shoes. Then again, the price is a lot less elegant, as well. My old go-to brand was Church, but their post-Prada prices sent me to this more reasonably-priced, mid-market option.
