The shoe is actually really nice, good craftsmanship, good quality and a classic styling. Allen Edmonds is known for their quality and warranty but this shoe doesn't work. I think it is a design flaw with this style as I have other shoes from the brand that fit and feel great. The problem comes from where the toe crease. When you bend your foot, the leather creases sharply from the top and side right above the metatarsophalangeal joint. Since the quality and leather is so good, it doesn't give, and just hurts your foot. So by the end of my day, my big toe is in a lot of pain and swollen. I think the shoe may, for a brief moment, dislocated my toe once when I was running to a meeting. Since I can't return it now that I've worn it for a day that I think I just wasted a lot of money.

I was extremely pleased with this shoe at first. It was true to size, extremely comfortable and looked great. The quality for the price however was shocking. The soles wore out very quickly, even with wearing this pair just 2-3 times per week (my browns get the heaviest use). Extremely disappointed...
